“Ciana was a great mama to my puppy Tala! She made sure to learn about tala and sent me daily(sometimes more than once) updates/photos/videos. Will definitely use her services again! Thank you Ciana for taking good care of our puppy!”

“Tiffany was amazing as always! She made sure to stay in touch with regular pictures and really demonstrated her experience. She clearly has a good system in place! And is a great sitter for our baby dog!”

“Sophie, with a lifetime of experience taking care of dogs, was wonderful with our yellow Lab. Her home has an ample backyard area and is quite welcoming to dogs. Her Boston Terrier plays very nicely with others. Our Lab got lots of love and attention from Sophie, including regular walks in the low-traffic neighborhood near Dominican U. It is abundantly clear that Sophie, an energetic college student trying to earn some money on Rover, could not be more motivated to take phenomenal care of your cherished companion. She did so with our 4 year-old Lab.”

“Katherine made Rosie feel comfortable and happy in her home. She's a dog lover and Rosie could tell. I was gone for 15 days and I would gladly have Katherine take care of Rosie again!”

“Ace has found his second home!! Lauren & Kari are amazing! We took a weekend trip to Bodega Bay for my wife’s 40th birthday and these amazing people were more than happy to accommodate taking care of my boy Ace. They sent updates and pictures while we were away, and it looked like he had an amazing time making new doggo friends. I will definitely be using their services again knowing he is in awesome hands!”

“Ashish was amazing. This was our pup’s first boarding, and I was very nervous. He reassured me that everything was going to be ok. He also sent us photos through out the visit! He was super accommodating on pick up time as well. Would ABSOLUTELY bring my dog back here if I needed boarding again!”

“Gabi was well cared for and loved. She spent a lot of play time in the backyard. I love that Gabi got lots and lots of attention given Kushram being retired. My only gripe would be that I would have liked more updates, but that's only because it was the first time I left my pup with someone else. However, when I would reach out Kushram would get back to me within the hour... I will book with them again.”

“We could not have asked for a better experience for our dog. Cymantha took excellent care of her and gave her lots of love and attention. The regular updates and photos were great too. Our pup will be happy to visit Cymantha again next time we go out of town.”

“We had a wonderful experience boarding Zoe with Wenxin and her partner. We’ve been dealing with some allergies and they helped us keep up with her probiotics and cleansing foam. Zoe was well exercised and came home fully relaxed. They also went above and beyond with dropping her off at our house since they were in the neighborhood that evening, as well as supplementing her food when I forgot a meals worth. Highly recommend especially if you want your dog treated like family!”

“Donna has been such a gem. She is very flexible. My Coco has special needs with medication and particular eating habits. Donna took great care of Coco while I was gone. It gave me such piece of mind. We are lucky to have found such a compassionate sitter.”

“Tasha and her family were amazing. They took such good care of our dog and she sent tons of pictures throughout his stay. They made our dog feel like he was at home. He definitely loved being there.”

“We are SO grateful we found Luna! Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. We would absolutely book with Luna again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sitter who is caring, attentive, and truly exceptional. Indi came home happy, calm, and healthy — we couldn’t ask for more. 💛🐾”

“John was absolutely fantastic! He took exceptional care of our two German Shepherds while we were away and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and capable hands—we will gladly book with him again.”

My family has almost always had at least one dog, if not more. I also had rabbits, hamsters, and birds as a child. I have a lot of experience with vet tech work and can competently administer most medications. Additionally I have a lot of experience with positive reinforcement training I am generally at home though I do leave at times for errands or volunteer work. During the afternoons I'm often taking my kids to various activities. I have a fenced in yard with dog door access to the house. We have one very friendly wheaten terrier who is 2 years old and loves to play with other dogs

“Catherine was great! She was very responsive, positive, and has a lovely home with a beautiful back yard. My dog loved her stay and enjoyed making new friends with Catherine's black lab.”

“My 13 year old cocker spaniel has a list of issues a mile long with anxiety needing particularly extra care recently. Jeanette and Abraham were as concerned as I was and we worked so cooperatively to care for Berri. We have loved our stays with this boarding family now over a number of years and recommend them with gratitude.”

“Starlee is always nervous with new people and animals. I can tell Natalie cares a lot and did a great job making her feel comfortable. When I came to pick her up she was a lot more relaxed and happy. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“Greg was great. He was communicative before and after. He made sure Max was comfortable. He really cared and sent lots of pictures. I think Max had a great time! Greg has a fantastic place for pups. It’s very dog friendly and they have room to roam outside. I am definitely booking him again!”

“If you are looking for an EXCELLENT sitter for your dog, don't hesitate to book with Deborah! We have one dog with some special problems and Deborah was a champ with her. We got multiple pictures and updates on how they were doing through out the day. Our babies came home happy, healthy, and exhausted, so we know they had a great time. Thank you Deborah for watching our babies without us having to worry about them. BOOK WITH DEBORAH YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!!!!”

“Aimee is amazing as always and can’t say enough good things about her communication, updates, and great photos/videos. Will continue to work with Aimee as a repeat client and grateful to have someone we can trust while we’re away! Thanks again Aimee 😊”

“Ciana did a great job checking in on our cat Vin multiple days while we were out of town. She cleaned out her litter box, refilled her water, and left out food. We came back to a very happy cat and I’m super grateful she was such a responsible sitter.”

“Katie did a wonderful job taking care of our two kitties. She quickly earned their trust, played with them, sent the cutest pictures and successfully administered pills to one of the cats - which is no easy feat. We are so glad we found her and will hire Katie, without any hesitation whatsoever, for our future trips.”

“Michelle did a great job taking care of our two cats while we were away. She was easy to communicate with and asked great questions to ensure she had all the necessary information. We came back to happy, healthy kitties!”

“Kelly was incredibly with my kitty. I was out of the country and she made us feel extremely comfortable the whole time. My kitty is usually super shy but he warmed up to her immediately! The pictures everyday made me so happy and she went above and beyond by setting up a new litter box, playing outside with him, and ensuring that a paw he had injured was well taken care of.”

“Kathrine was such a delight. She cares for only one dog at a time so she can devote her full attention and our Snowy appreciated that. Her house is set so nicely for pet sitting and the neighborhood was terrific for dog walks. Thank you, Katharine.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember, through every stage of their lives. Growing up with dogs, they have always been like family to me. I’ve had experience with all different kinds of dogs and cats and have also worked at a doggy daycare / boarding center. Spending time with furry friends never feels like work to me. I am fortunate to live at home where I know my own dog is always cared for when I am away, so I can confidently care for yours too! I always enjoy being able to go for walks and make visits during the day in between managing my other responsibilities. As a student, I typically have more availability in the afternoons and evenings. I am happy to visit and walk with your pups during the day, providing them each the individual care that they deserve. I am open to doing group walks as well, depending on your pet’s preferences. I am also able to pet sit, where I can care for your fur babies in the comfort of their own home!

“Margo was wonderful taking care of our cats over the holidays. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly attentive to their routines and comfort. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands while we were away. “Giselle was great with our cats and was an excellent communicator. She arrived ontime each day and provided frequent updates which allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip knowing our boys were in good hands!”

“Olivia did an excellent job with her drop-in visits for caring for our kitten. She was always timely and spent quality time with our kitten in addition to her standard care! She was also very helpful in guiding us with using Rover for the first time.”

About: I’ve been a cat owner my entire life and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pets while you’re away. Although I’m new to pet sitting through Rover, I am anything but new in caring for cats. As a registered nurse, I’m detail oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable following specific care instructions and routines. I am experienced in administering medications, having taken care of multiple cats that were seniors, and that required medications. I’m happy to accommodate particular needs and will keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages. I’m excited to build lasting relationships with both fellow cat owners and their fur-babies by providing reliable, attentive, and compassionate care.

“5 stars all the way! Dealan is so amazing and very professional. She has a way with animals, my cat gravitated right to her. Typically my cat hides around new people, but not with Dealan, she came right out and let Dealan pet and brush her. I loved the daily pictures I received showing how attentive she was. Just all around such a great experience! I will definitely be using Dealan’s services again! ?”

“Katherine is such a sweet and loving person. She was very nice and caring to Mylo. Mylo warmed up to her easily. Would request her to take care Mylo if ever we come back to Napa. Thank you very much for today.”

“Lauren and Kari were the best! They sent me a couple of cute photos of my doodle, Ruby, chilling with the other dogs. I was held up in traffic and arrived a bit later than I had intended, and they didn't mind at all. I will definitely use their services again. (Plus they were lovely ladies.)”

“This was my first time using Rover and we are very happy with Tammy's services. As soon as Teddy entered Tammy's house, Teddy was greeted by Griffin, Tammy's little dog, Tammy, and her adult son, Christopher. Teddy immediately started playing with Griffin and we felt comfortable leaving Teddy with Tammy. Throughout the night Tammy sent us photos and kept us informed as to what Teddy was doing. I highly recommend anyone considering using Tammy's services to book with her. Thank you! ?”

About: Lifelong Animal Lover with 40+ Years of Hands-On Pet Care Experience I’ve been a dedicated pet owner for more than 40 years, caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My lifelong experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, routines, and the importance of patience, consistency, and trust. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have periodically fostered animals to help prepare them for successful adoption into loving homes. Whether your pet needs a dependable walk, companionship while you’re away, or calm and attentive care, I provide a safe, loving, and responsible environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own. “Greg provided the perfect location for our dogs to spend the day while we were at Bottlerock. His home is close to the Napa Valley Expo and Greg allowed us to leave our car at his place. It was great that our dogs could run around his dog-proof fenced yard and hang out with Greg and his dogs. Greg took good care of both our young active dog and our older sedentary dog, making our day in Napa very relaxing.”

“🔎 TL:DR: We ❤️ Ashlyn!!! Highly recommend and would book again next time we are in Napa. THE BEST SITTER!!! 📚The Details: Ashlyn made it very easy for us while we were in Napa for a wedding weekend. Very professional, communicative, and caring. Boots is also a gem of a playmate. 🐾 This was our first time getting a dog sitter, like… EVER! And also brand new users to the Rover app. I had sooo many questions, and also a bunch of specific instructions about my puppy’s care. Ashlyn made us feel so comfortable and gave us a lot reassurance about what to expect. All in all, so great!!! Would book again, no question. 🎤👊 Thank you again Ashlyn & Boots!!!”

About: My name is Marjorie the leader of the pack and doggy mommy of Leon and Luke. My border collie mix is my first baby he’s 1 yr and 5 months now I got hime when he was a puppy. The pittbull mix has recently joined the pack and he is nothing but sweet and obedient. I am a California Registered Nurse, a NICU and Infusion nurse. I love being around animals, my doggies are my therapist. Dog sitting will be my way of therapy during my days off from the toxic life of the medical field. I have trained my dogs myself basic obedience skills and have taught them to be bilingual. On days that am not tending to human needs. I will be at home tending on doggy needs. Doggies will definitely have quiet time, play time on their own or with other dogs they will of course have the same feeding time routines in my household I have fenced back yard. There will be avalable crates in the garage to accommodate crate trained doggies or needs crate training. You also can bring your baby doggy’s own crate. Bringing their food and treats are mandatory as I will not have an idea how sensitive their tummy could be.

About: I have over 20 years of experience owning and caring for friend’s dogs and cats. I have cared for senior animals and ones with medical needs as well. I work fully remote, so lots of attention and activity are on the board! We go on a couple walks a day and there is a dog social in my neighborhood if you are amenable to that. I have a dog and cat at home and they are used to other animals in their space and share it well. I follow detailed instructions well.
About: My goal is to create a fun and loving home away from home for your furry friend! I’ll send you pics of your pup while we go on walks and play. I'm currently working from home in American Canyon and am available during the days to care for your pup! While mainly open to walking and drop in visits, I can consider home stays for dogs I get more comfortable with. I tailor my care to each doggy’s needs and service as requested. For dog walking, I typically do 30-minute walks in the park, but can adjust based on the dog's breed, energy level, and personality!

“Aimee is amazing! My dog is a senior with neurological issues, and tends to be hesitant around strangers. Aimee’s calm, loving demeanor put him at ease immediately and they were best pals from the start. It was 90 degrees outside and Aimee had the experience and good judgement to find an alternative exercise, playing ball in the backyard to keep his feet and body cool. Thank you for taking such great care of my fur baby! I’ll definitely use Aimee again! <3”

“During a recent, unexpected pet care emergency, Vanessa was able to accommodate our dogs and step in when our pre-arranged arrangements fell through just before our vacation. It allowed us to have peace of mind that our dogs would be taken care of while we were away. She was very easy to work with and flexible with timing. We would not hesitate to book her for our future pet care needs and would recommend her to other pet parents looking for someone reliable and professional to take care of their pets.”

About: Hi, I’m Greg — a lifelong dog owner and animal lover based on the east side of Napa in a quiet, country setting. I live on a fully fenced, one-acre property that offers a safe, relaxed environment where dogs can enjoy space, comfort, and freedom. One thing that’s important to me — and often reassuring to pet parents — is that dogs in my care have free flow between indoors and outdoors. My home is 100% dog-friendly, and dogs are never restricted to being outside or confined indoors. I have a large dog door, and dogs are free to move in and out as they choose. I am always present when dogs are here, ensuring they are supervised, comfortable, and able to follow their normal routines. I offer a wide range of flexible services, including dog walking, daytime care, overnight stays in my home, transportation to appointments, dog park visits, and longer outings such as hikes. I understand that every dog has different needs and energy levels, and I tailor care accordingly — whether that means active exercise, social time, or calm companionship. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large dogs my entire life and have regularly helped friends and family with walking, overnight care, and extended stays over the years. I’m comfortable administering prescription medications and following detailed care instructions when needed. At home, your dog will be in good company. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who are fully vaccinated and receive regular care at Silverado Veterinary Hospital. They are accustomed to interacting with other dogs and people, and dogs can join us for social outings or enjoy individual care depending on temperament and your preference. I also understand the trust involved in leaving your dog with someone else — I’ve used Rover myself when traveling and know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. My goal is to provide a calm, attentive, and dependable experience where both dogs and their people feel at ease. If you’re looking for flexible care, open communication, and a home environment where dogs can truly feel at home, I’d be happy to connect and see if I’m a good fit for you and your dog. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I am currently available full-time and able to structure my schedule around the needs of the dogs in my care. I’m transitioning from a long-term professional career in project management, which means I bring a high level of reliability, organization, and follow-through to pet care. I’m home throughout the day, available for walks, playtime, feedings, and supervision, and I can accommodate daytime, evening, overnight, and extended care with consistency and flexibility I provide a safe, structured, and supervised environment for every dog in my care. My one-acre property is fully fenced and secure, and dogs have supervised access to both indoor and outdoor spaces through a large dog door. I am present while dogs are here and do not leave them unattended for extended periods. My home is fully pet-friendly, clean, and free of hazards. I introduce dogs gradually to ensure comfort and compatibility, and I can separate dogs if needed. I am comfortable administering medications and carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions provided by owners. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, maintain routines exactly as instructed, and provide clear communication and updates.

“Tiffany was amazing as always! She made sure to stay in touch with regular pictures and really demonstrated her experience. She clearly has a good system in place! And is a great sitter for our baby dog!”

“We could not have asked for a better experience for our dog. Cymantha took excellent care of her and gave her lots of love and attention. The regular updates and photos were great too. Our pup will be happy to visit Cymantha again next time we go out of town.”

“John was absolutely fantastic! He took exceptional care of our two German Shepherds while we were away and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and capable hands—we will gladly book with him again.”

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I have over 20 years of professional experience caring for animals across a range of species.

“Greg was great. He was communicative before and after. He made sure Max was comfortable. He really cared and sent lots of pictures. I think Max had a great time! Greg has a fantastic place for pups. It’s very dog friendly and they have room to roam outside. I am definitely booking him again!”

“Ross took such great care of Joey! He clearly is such a dog person who could intuitively figure out all of Joey’s quirks. Joey had a great stay and is probably already looking forward to his next stay with Ross!”

“Julie and Adam are truly dog lovers who helped our Mollie tremendously with her anxiety issues. Mollie is a rescue pup who takes time to warm up to new people and surroundings, but Julie and Adam did a great job making her comfortable and engaging Mollie in activities. Mollie is a half Husky so she does need lots of exercise and activity. We will be having Molly stay again with Julie and Adam as when we picked her up we could tell that Molly felt very much at home!”

“Laura was friendly, profressional, and made us feel at such ease leaving our baby Digit with her. We were out of thr country and requested emails and she was more than happy to oblige. Laura provided frequent updates and our pup looked happy and healthy in every picture sent. Laura dogs were passive and easy for our dog to get along with. Overall I would definitely recommend Laura”

“Kasandra was great! We had an emergency trip that we have to go to and could not bring our little monster with us. Luckily, Kasandra was available. She was very responsive and enthusiastic about taking care of Willa (our little monster.) I’m so used to picking up Willa from sitters expecting she’ll be dirty, her fur attracts anything and everything, that usually I’ll end up giving her a bath. But this time was different. We are so surprised how clean she was considering all the walks and dog park trips she did. I would definitely bring Willa back to Kasandra for any of our dog sitting needs. Highly recommend!!”

“Our dog loved staying at Stefanie’s with her dog Prince. She always sent us updates and pictures. We would love to rebook with her in the future because she’s amazing!”

“Foxy was very happy to spend four nights with Tamara. She took care of our little dog exactly the way she likes to be taken care of. We will definitely use Tamara‘a services again.”

“Maria and Kevan are wonderful!! They made our dog feel at home and I love all the photo updates I get from them. They’re very sweet and kind and I would definitely recommend them to any pup.”

“Peter is very kind and easy to communicate and work with. Peter is accessible and transparent while you’re away, which takes one important task off your plate when traveling for work. I could tell Ziba had a great time given her excitement to play with Peter when we picked her up. Thanks, Peter. 🙏🏼”

“Emma was great. She was very accommodating for such a last minute request. She kept us updated on how Leonard was doing and responded quickly from start to finish. Will definitely use her services again!”
