About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I’m was around 5, I grew up with poodles and we raised them . I do enjoy walking them taking to the park having quality time with them. I can provide a fenced yard. There is a park a block away from my home. We can walk to to have open play or play on a leash.Or one on one play in door or in my fenced yard
About: I like to walk the dogs daily around the Atascadero Lake. I have a decent size fenced backyard with room to run and use my poop scooper daily. I am retired and looking for things to do during the week (mon-Fri) to fill my days. I have always loved the company of dogs and love to take them on daily walks. I have a dog bed in my bedroom, where your dog would sleep at night. The dogs water bowl is always kept clean and fresh. The dogs would always be welcome to hang out in the house with me, too.
“Wolfie enjoyed his stay at Kiara’ place. The entire family is really friendly and treated Wolfie as one of the family members. The house is clean and has big enough space for dogs. Def will recommend to others!”

About: I have tons of animal experience, from chickens to horses and everything in between. Many of my high school years were spent in dog and cat rescue, and I have taken multiple animal science courses in college so I am very comfortable with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. I'm not scared of by or wary of animals that might need more time to warm up. I'm also very active and outdoorsy and am always looking to have an animal join me on my various adventures and outings if that is what they are into. I work with dogs and cats of all sizes, energy levels, and ages, and can give oral medication, injections, or do bladder expression if needed. I am currently on summer break from my college classes and working part-time remotely from home, so I have a lot of flexibility in terms of scheduling. I’m comfortable playing, feeding, giving medication, crating, or anything else your pet might need. I treat all animals with the love and respect they deserve.
“Lauren was so wonderful throughout Bear’s stay! We had a few last minute changes and she was so accommodating and communicative throughout the whole process. You could tell how knowledgeable she is about taking care of animals and she made the extra effort to make sure Bear was happy and comfortable throughout his whole stay.”

“Rachel and her loving family took fantastic care of our little 6 month old puppy. This was the first time we had left her with someone and we really appreciated the attention to detail and expertise that Rachel provided. We will definitely be using her services in the future and are so glad to have found her!!”

“Robyn is amazing!! I got a puppy for my birthday one week before we were scheduled to go out of town for 3 nights, I was so beyond anxious to leave my puppy because we had just gotten her settled and honestly I didn't think I could trust anyone else to care for her. I chose Robyn based off of her amazing reviews and how quick she was to respond to me and put me at ease. My 9 week old puppy was very safe and well loved and cared for while I was gone, Robyn was very quick to respond to all of my messages and sent me updates and photos while we were out of town. I would absolutely recommend anyone considering a house or dog sitter to go with Robyn, take it from a highly anxious new dog mom! We will definitely book with her again if we go out of town. :)”

“Benny stayed for almost 3 weeks and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable with his stay. Krissy has such a great set up for dogs, so much outdoor play. I received daily updates and Benny came home exhausted! Will use again and recommend to everyone I know with a dog!!”

About: I have traveled a lot in the past and as a dog owner I understand the need for reliable and affordable dog care. As a teacher I have the summer off, so I am home most of the time right now and would love to offer that care to your furry friend. I have a house with a fenced in backyard and a wonderful 10-year-old husky mix who plays well with small-to-large sized dogs. I live with my husband who will be home in the evenings and on weekends, but I will be the only one providing care. If your dog(s) are friendly with other dogs, I look forward to hosting them! Meal times are usually 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. Walks in the am or pm depending on the heat. A fenced in backyard means your pup can let themselves out whenever they need relief. My husband and I have a house with an 8-foot fence and a friendly husky mix to keep your dog(s) company. Our dog is a lover of trash, so we are very careful to keep food out of reach and the trash can locked.

About: I’ve had experience caring for large dogs my whole life and currently handle most of the day-to-day care for my own dog, so I’m very comfortable with feeding routines, walks, exercise, and keeping dogs happy and well-behaved. I’ve also been pet sitting since high school, caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. What sets me apart is how attentive and hands-on I am. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m especially confident with bigger dogs and can adapt to each dog’s routine, whether that means active playtime or a calmer, more relaxed environment. Until early June, I have school and work during the week, along with some busy weekends, but I’m still available for pet care with enough notice and can work around my schedule. Starting in the summer, I’ll have a much more open and flexible schedule and am looking to take on more pet sitting opportunities. I’m happy to accommodate different routines and make sure your pet gets consistent, reliable care. I provide a clean, safe, and cozy environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m a very active person, so I love taking dogs on walks and making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I also make time for calmer moments, like relaxing and giving pets the affection and companionship they’re used to. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine to help them feel at ease, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions. My goal is always to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Kambry was very responsive and was able to watch for our dog Goose on short notice for the evening. Goose can be uneasy and reactive, but Kambry was able to handle everything super well with care and understanding. She is definitely an experienced sitter and I recommend her to anyone searching in the SLO area!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently have a 13 year old dog named Sammy and a 7 year old dog named Martin in Colombia. Being around dogs has taught me a lot about different personalities, routines, and the care they need at different stages of life. About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember. I currently have two puppies which is just as challenging as it is rewarding. I am always up for spending time with these precious animals. Throughout my life I have taken on the responsibility of caring for not only my own dogs but friend's and neighbor's dogs as well. I am a college student currently home for winter break so I have lots of time to play and walk your pups! I love spending my free time being active and I have always been a dog lover! I know how much your pet means to you because of how much mine mean to me so safety will always be the number one priority. I have two very friendly puppies and my yard is fenced in. I have a crate, leashes, doggy gates inside my home, and lots of toys!
“Rachel replied immediately. She was welcoming. We had a meet & greet with her and Gus, and Levi and I were very impressed :) Her dog Gus is just a cutie pie and loves to play, so he kept my little guy very busy. Levi came home happy and tired! Yes! I hope we can plan another petsitting date soon. Thank you for everything Rachel. I loved the photos you sent me - especially the one with your little girl and Levi.”

“Dropped off Flower for a short visit today before I board him with Andrew. I had previously met with Andrew so that Flower could meet him and Flower was very happy to see him. When I picked up my little dog, he seemed very content and peaceful sitting in his little bed. It made me very happy to see that my dog was happy and apparently had a good visit! I feel great about leaving flower with Andrew for the upcoming weekend after this wonderful experience.”

“All I can say is WOW! This was my first time using Rover and it was absolutely incredible. I expect this was a rare Rover experience - because we seriously could not have asked for more. My girlfriend and I were in town for a weekend getaway and wanted to check out some non dog-friendly wineries during the afternoon/evening on a Saturday. We saw Amanda's listing and crossed our fingers with our last minute Friday night booking. Amanda responded within the hour letting us know she would be happy to watch over him for the day. Her communication was professional and her availability flexible. Let me tell you... Amanda's place is an absolute wonderland for an adventure dog. She has a ton of property for your dog to run around on ... and animals galore! Our husky (Myth) got to meet horses, donkeys, ostriches, cats, chickens ... and more! This was an amazing experience for him (as a city dog that only gets to play with other dogs at the dog park). I can't imagine another scenario where he would have got to interact and play with such a diverse array of animals. Amanda clearly knows how to handle animals as well. She briefed us on her background training and handling all sorts of different animals and then backed it up with hourly videos showing us a new trick she had taught Myth - or a fun picture/video of Myth playing with one of her other animals (shoutout to her new dog Anakin who is an absolute good boy and new best friend of Myth's). She even asked us if it was okay to take Myth to the dog park. Her communication during Myth's stay helped us relax while out and about. She is clearly an animal lover to the core. If I'm being honest I'm pretty sure Myth would have been happy to stay on Amanda's ranch forever. 10/10 experience ... and her rate is super reasonable for the amazing experience your dog is going to get under her care. Thank you Amanda.”

About: hi there!! my love for animals is unmatched and i hope to share some love to as many animals as i can! i just retired as a d1 college gymnast and i graduate from san jose state university in the fall of 2026, so i have much more time on my hands now that i am done with gymnastics. i’ve grown up with only cats, but i have helped with dog sitting for family members and my friends many times! The most important thing to me is communication and you can trust me when I say that if I am confused or have a question or need any clarification, I will ask. Keeping your pets the safest and most comfortable as possible is #1 . I look forward to hopefully meeting your pet and creating a fun and strong bond with them! thanks so much I’m in the gymnastics team at SJSU and we just finished season so our schedule is quiet clear then it used to be! I care for pets by showing them attention, feeding them and giving them the everyday needs, playing with them outside, teaching more tricks, and loving them as if they’re my own!

“Emelie was very responsive, attentive and kept us up to date on how things were going with our pup Louie. He was a bit stressed being to be dropped off after a few days of car travel, but Emelie took him on a nice long walk to settle him down. Great location and safe spot in the middle of SLO. Thanks Emelie!”

“Joan is the kindest, nicest person you could hope to have watch your dog. She watched over our pandemic pup on his first time away from us while we hiked and canoed around Morro bay. She did such a great job that we even sent our dog back the next day. She was patient with him, despite the barking and who knows what else :).”

“Sandra is the ideal pet sitter! She’s friendly, easygoing, and experienced. I could tell right away that Maple felt comfortable with her, which was very reassuring. We got several pictures, and communication was excellent. Lucky for us that Sandra was available to take care of Maple on short notice. We would book her services again in a heartbeat!”

“Alyssa is incredibly personable, kind, communicative, and detailed. She wasn't intimidated by any of the quirks my dogs have or the challenges associated with picking my dogs up for walks and taking an elevator with them. She always alerts me of scheduling conflicts or changes in the timeline, and it's been a tremendous help for me.”

“JOSH was great to work with. He was very prompt and also very flexible if a time needed to change on occasion. He and my dog, Shiloh, seem to bond quite well over the weeks that I needed JOSH‘s walking services. I highly recommend JOSH for taking care of your pet, without reservation.”

About: Animals have always been one of the greatest teachers in my life. Through my work as a shepherd and livestock caretaker, I’ve learned that every animal has its own language, personality, and needs. Working alongside livestock guardian dogs especially taught me the value of patience, observation, and earning an animal’s trust rather than demanding it. I love taking the time to get to know each pet as an individual and providing the kind of attentive, reliable care that helps both pets and their people feel at ease. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and pet care visits. My schedule varies somewhat, but I do my best to be reliable, communicative, and consistent with each pet’s routine. I’m an active person who enjoys being outdoors, so I love spending time walking dogs, playing with them, or simply keeping them company while their owners are away. I believe pets do best when they can stick to their normal routine. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, and any specific instructions closely. Through my work with livestock and livestock guardian dogs, I’ve learned to pay attention to animal behavior and pick up on subtle changes that may indicate something is off. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, and I’ll keep you updated along the way with messages and photos.

About this sitter: I am a 36 year old stay at home mom and wife. I have a 13 year old daughter. She loves animals and is very gentle. My husband and I own our home. We have a large fenced in yard. I can walk dogs, help to potty train, help with basic obedience, crate train, take to dog parks, even come and clean litter boxes and feed cats! My dogs are crate trained and sleep in their crates when we are not home. My dogs get to be on the couch and bed with us. We do not leave them outside when it is too hot or too cold, but they do love to lay in the sun. Pet care fits great with my schedule, as taking care of my family is my number one priority. Working a 9 to 5 job just doesn’t fit in with my daily life. Pet care is fun, unique, and never the same! I have a fenced backyard. I would never leave your pet outside unattended. If I’m at your home, I’ll play with your cats or dogs. I’ll gain their trust (not just clean litter boxes or pick up after them). I make sure to take lots of videos and pictures so you know they are happy and taken care of. Your pets are treated with respect and like my own when I care for them.

About: I have watched multiple ages of dogs! Some middle aged, all the way to 5 months! I love going on walks and will be happy to have a furry friend to join me. I have helped clean up after them, feeding, grooming, and just hanging out with them! I am a college student but have complete access to a car! I can stay overnight, I can get up early, stay late or even pop in to the house to make sure they get lunch! I will meet their expectations. I couldn't just go over to a clients house and just feed a dog. I would feed them, play with them, etc.
About: Hi! 🤍 I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and getting to spend time with them is honestly one of my favorite things. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small pets over the years, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s little personality and what makes them happiest. Whether it’s a peaceful walk, playtime, or just keeping your pet company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and can follow any routines or training you’d like me to stick with. I work full time, but I make dedicated time for my Rover pets and will always show up reliably and communicate with you so you feel completely at ease. I’d love an opportunity to care for your fur baby! 🤍 Spending time with animals is something I genuinely look forward to, so I make dedicated time for pet care throughout my week 🤍 Even with a full time job, I plan my days so I can give each pet the attention and consistency they deserve, whether that’s morning visits, midday checkins, or evening walks. I’m very intentional about my schedule and only take on what I can fully commit to, so you can feel confident your pet is in reliable and caring hands. I know my way around a leash for any dog size, great and small, and will reinforce any training if needed during the drop ins and walks.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently have a 13 year old dog named Sammy and a 7 year old dog named Martin in Colombia. Being around dogs has taught me a lot about different personalities, routines, and the care they need at different stages of life. I also help care for my friends’ dog, Perry, when they travel, so I have experience with daily routines, giving medication when needed, monitoring feeding and weight, and making sure pets feel comfortable, loved, and safe. I understand that every dog is different, and I would treat your pet with the same care, patience, and attention I give my own. My schedule is flexible and I make time for pet care throughout my week. I understand the importance of consistency, routines, and giving pets the attention they need. I’m committed to making sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while keeping owners updated along the way. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else. I always follow the pet’s routine, feeding instructions, medication schedules if needed, and any specific care requests from owners. I pay close attention to behavior and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm environment.

About: I have real, everyday experience caring for multiple dogs at once, including my own three, so I’m very comfortable handling different temperaments, energy levels, and routines. I’m used to everything from playful, high-energy dogs to more anxious or shy ones, and I adjust my care based on what each dog needs. I’m confident with feeding routines, potty schedules, and reinforcing basic training, and I always keep a close eye on behavior to make sure every dog is safe and comfortable. What sets me apart is my ability to manage multiple dogs while still giving each one individual attention and care. I already care for my own dogs daily, so adding pet care into my routine is a natural fit. I’m home often and able to provide regular potty breaks, feeding, and attention throughout the day. Dogs staying with me won’t be left alone for long and will be part of a consistent, comfortable routine. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I can accommodate both weekday and weekend bookings. I make sure every dog gets plenty of attention and feels safe and cared for while they’re with me. I provide a safe, clean, and structured environment where dogs can feel comfortable and relaxed. I have a fenced yard for secure outdoor time and always supervise dogs while they’re outside to ensure their safety. In my home, I carefully manage introductions and monitor interactions to make sure all dogs get along and feel comfortable. I also have crates available if needed, whether for sleeping, downtime, or to match a dog’s normal routine. I stick closely to each dog’s schedule, including feeding times, potty breaks, and any specific care instructions provided by the owner. Dogs in my care are never left alone for long periods, and I always keep a close eye on behavior to make sure everyone stays safe and stress-free. What sets me apart is how attentive I am to each dog’s individual needs. Whether a dog is energetic, shy, or needs extra patience, I make sure they feel secure, cared for, and right at home.
About: I have fostered two kittens in my current apartment, as well as cared for a dog and two cats in my previous home. I love animals! I am working a part time job in Paso Robles, but shifts are usually mid morning to early evening. I work a few days out of the week, and otherwise I have free time to spend with the pet(s)! I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect that I would my own. I always follow each pet's routine, make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, and a safe, comfortable environment while you're away. I'm dependable, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. I work 3–4 days a week, and my evenings are usually very open, giving me plenty of flexibility and quality time to spend with your pets.
“Adrienne is a wonderful human being. She is also a responsible, caring, affectionate and communicative sitter. I highly recommend her if you want peace of mind! We had a great experience with her caring for our fur baby. She took him on walks and even to the beach.”
