Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”
About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.

About: Hello! I’ve had dogs all my life and love getting out and walking them. I’m a recent UC Davis Animal Science graduate starting at UPenn for Vet School this year. I’ve walked a huge range of breeds, sizes, and energy levels, everything from high-energy German Shorthaired Pointers, Huskies, Pitbulls, and Shepherds to Golden Retrievers, Cocker Spaniels, and Frenchies. On the sidewalk, I stay focused on city traffic, managing space around other dogs, and avoiding street hazards. My clinical training also means I recognize early signs of heat fatigue or physical discomfort, and I can easily give any needed medications before or after our walk. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I got my first pet at 11, my lovely dog mocha, and have been taking care of animals ever since. I enjoy observing and playing with almost any animal no matter size or species. I have lots of experience taking care of injured animals as more often than not I took in these types of animals growing up and even now! I have spent countless times bottle feeding baby animals as well as performing other duties a parent animal would do. Currently I am unemployed, just looking for something fun and entertaining to do while I job hunt. I plan to continue after getting a job if things work out. I am free most days of the week, the only uncertain day is Tuesday. I have two animals currently, a leopard gecko and a Bombay cat. As two wildly different animals they both have special needs I attend. My cat, jiji, is disabled and requires me to be a bit more careful than you would need to be with a cat. She has no tail but a big attitude! Beam, gecko, is about 5 years old. I adopted him from a friend who would be unable to care for him. Leopard geckos can reach 15 years old and require quite a bit attention as they are sensitive to most things. Beam is also incredibly sassy, despite only being three inches.

Dogs make me feel good, they for my mental health, so I'm getting something out of it as well. I'm a natural caregiver, and I am about to have twins. This is a good way for me to prepare for their homecoming! I make sure the house is always clean, I bring my own food. I treat it like it were my own. And will follow any instructions

I’m comfortable with young puppies to seniors, nervous/shy cats, those who need medication and anyone in between ☺️ I’m located right in the heart of the Mission District and work in Noe Vallley, so anywhere in those two areas are easy for me to access. I also have a car and can access further if need be! As someone who has seen plenty of emergency cases in my profession, I’m very specially aware within people’s homes of what may be considered safe or unsafe for your baby. Just let me know if I need to keep an extra eye on a specific room or piece of furniture in your room!
