“Alexa is an angel! We have two dogs whom are used to being with my husband and I 24/7 because we both work remotely. We are very selective in who we have watch our boys while we are gone (typically family or friends would come to our home and stay with them)… but we moved from Southern to Northern California so need to figure out an alternative. After searching Rover I came across Alexa’s profile and read each review and she stood out as someone that could be a good fit for my boys. “This was Maisie’s first time away for more than a few hours. She is a young golden retriever and can be a bit nervous. Sara and Jake took great care of her and sent us many pictures and videos so we could rest assured during her stay. About: I have been in the pet food industry for three years, I used to leash train puppies, and I have been dog sitting/cat watching for three years as well. I have full availability on the weekends and have some flexibility during the week, specifically weeknights Monday through Thursday. I love doing check ins, walks, and housesitting. I respect peoples things, and appreciate when there are written instructions. I don’t do boarding because I have a Cat that does not do well in stressful environments. My husband and I work as a team and are both recently retired. We are home all day with the dogs and make sure they are happy and safe. :) We also are available for dog walking, drop in visits, and staying in your home to care for your pups during your absence. We take them all for daily walks, playtime, or just relaxing in a peaceful environment. We have two very friendly dogs they can play with or just hang out together. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. “Michelle was great with my dog Oakley! I was so thankful she was able to take him on short notice and accommodate whatever we needed... Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”
About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony,goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.

About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.

Bentley is an 8 year old Chihuahua Yorkie mix and Kali is a 6 year old black lab and Boo is a 2 1/2 year old terrier mix. I really enjoy taking walks myself so it’s a perfect fit to have dogs over. Cats are similar with the exception of walks unless you want to leash train them or already have. I am a part time dental hygienist as well as an undergraduate student studying Criminal Justice/ Forensics with plenty of flexibility. I am home full time doing school so my availability is open. I only pick up dental hygiene shifts as needed as I have been in the dental field 32 years. We have a a nice chunk of land with a fence and one dog to play with your furbaby her name is Shadow and she is so sweet and old, but still has energy for fun. We have a pond to wade in as well which is Shadows favorite thing to do. We are always keeping an eye on all of our animals and make sure they are safe and always have what they need. We also have 4 indoor kitties but they usually hide when company is around.

We are home all day with the dogs and make sure they are happy and safe. :) We also are available for dog walking, drop in visits, and staying in your home to care for your pups during your absence. I had my English Springer Spaniel, Beau, for 13 years and just recently adopted a Bearded Collie/Golden Lab mix puppy. I also have my two 6 year cats, Rupert and Carl. About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I’ve always had a special connection with animals and a passion for caring for them.
