It’s Makana’s first time to socialize with 2 dogs since she turned 2 yrs old due to some health issues when she’s a pup. We thought it’s time for her to explore and find out if she is well adjusted now that she’s an adult.She is as expected to be a little shy but was able to adapt and became comfortable. She is tired and pretty happy bec she had a play date with Zuri ( the host’s furbaby) and another furbaby. About: I have always had dogs growing up and frequently took charge of their needs as their primary caregiver, scheduling vet visits, feeding, bathing, & walking our dogs. I started working as a dog bather in January 2022 and even though (as of a few months ago) I have since transitioned careers I still miss working with dogs (also cats and rabbits) and interacting with them on a daily basis. I am a proven gentle handler with a knack for big and small dogs as well as cats and rabbits. I was formally a dog bather but I frequently assisted the groomers in handling the other animals like cats, rabbits, and Guinea pigs during shave downs and haircuts. I have learned so much about handling and husbandry from experienced groomers who supervised me in the salon and almost became a groomer myself. I love animals and I love working with them. I was known to be the bather that took on the large and difficult dogs due to my ability to handle them tenderly and with immense patience. Some of the favorite animals I miss from work are Charlotte and Maggie, the two Rottweilers who were so bad that the groomer used the be the only one who could do them and only with the muzzle on. I was able to not only fully bathe and dry them with a double motor blow dryer, but I was also able to eventually transition them off the muzzle with kind words and encouragement to the sweet girls. I also greatly miss the darling puppy Karlotta who I bathed every time she had come in since her very first bath. She was very nervous at first but soon started walking in like she owned the place. That is the main reason I want to work with animals again, to be able to say that I helped a dog or animal in some way without having to use aggression, dominance, or force. Currently, I am working a full-time job, from 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday. If the animal is in my home for boarding or day care I can provide walks on my breaks and lunch since I work from home. I have a 5 year old Siberian Husky in my home who is in crate trained and who loves other dogs. The introductions between pets would be slow with safety being the paramount factor. She would be in the crate in the living room when unsupervised and the pet would stay in my room if a client needed me to provide care for them in my home. I have a force-free handling philosophy.

Due to already having 2 of my own dogs, I will only accept one additional dog at a time (or 2 if from the same family.) because of this, you can rest assured that your dog will not be around other pets that you are not aware of, and I will also be able to devote my time and energy to your fur baby.
About: Hi! I'm Kiana, and I have many years of experience with all kinds of pets, both under my own roof and within others' homes. I have owned and loved pets of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and various personalities. I find so much joy in getting to know pets, as they typically reflect their humans- and I'm willing to serve their needs in any way. Ultimately, I'm fully committed to keeping your pet safe, secure, and making sure that they're loved! I'm currently a student on summer break, and I'm searching for a part-time job at the moment. With that being said, I currently have plenty of availability throughout the week. I'm available 8am - 8pm during weekdays and Saturdays, and on Sundays I'm available after 2pm. During times that I am working, though, I typically come early in the morning (or wake up early if I'm already at a client's house), care for the pet(s), go to work, and then come back either during lunch time or at the end of my shift. It all honestly depends on the pets and their needs, but I am completely flexible! When I go to a client's home, I take extra care to respect their property and only go into delegated areas. My job is to care for the pet and maintain the homeowner's trust, so if a mess is made or an accident happens, I go the extra mile to inform the client immediately and take care of it as soon as possible. I want to make sure your pet feels loved and safe, especially within their own home. Even more so, I want the client to feel at ease, knowing that both their property and beloved pet are being cared for!
About: I regularly dog-sit for family friends ranging from small, medium, and large dogs (most experience with Chihuahuas, Terriers, Shih Tzus, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, and Spaniels)! I've also been a regular volunteer at Priceless Pet Rescue in Claremont and Chino Hills from 2022 - 2025. I feel particularly comfortable with mellow dogs who just need a friend to hang out with and play together, but I'm excited to care for more active dogs who require consistent exercise and/or mental stimulation. I enjoy walking with dogs in the mornings and evenings when the air and sidewalks are cooler, but I'm more than happy with accommodating your dogs' specific routine. My two cats are strictly indoor only, with occasional supervised and harnessed walks/exploration time outside, which helped me become very attentive. I will notice very quickly if your dogs or cats are not in their usual areas of the house, and will work fast to contact you and locate them ASAP. I will always put your pets' safety first with gentle, cooperative care, patience, and love!
About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and caring for them is something I'm truly passionate about. To me, pets aren't just pets; they're family. About: I have had dogs my entire life. My daughter and friends rely on me to take care of their fur babies. They know they are loved, cuddled and well taken care of. They are just like part of my family. I am retired and spend time walking several times a day and would love a fur baby friend to hang out with. I lost my fur baby a year ago. I have a large fenced in area and lots of places to play. No pool. I have lots of great walking areas as well as play areas. I allow dogs to sleep with me. If they need to be crated for comfort that is fine too!
