About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.

About: I have a deep love for animals & was privileged to grow up with a dog that lived till 16!! I have had experience with both puppies & senior dogs! I would typically walk your dogs at that time to start off the day, then every 3-4 hours for potty breaks and another half hour walk at the end of the day. I understand that every pups’ schedule is different so I am flexible to cater to your dogs needs. For boarding- My apartment is very minimalistic which makes it pet safe. I never leave any open garbage or food scraps out so you do not to worry about your dogs getting into them. We also get ants if we ever leave any food out so we keep it extra clean. My place is about 1150 sq ft so there’s a bit of room to play! For home sitting- I will always make note of house rules and abide by them at all times (and make sure your dog is too!). You can trust me to keep the place neat and tidy, just the way you left it!

I went to SLO to wine taste with my girlfriends family. On Sat morning I got a text from Tina with a pic of my girl and she had a bloody nose. Because my husband and I both work from home, your pup will have constant company, plenty of attention, and lots of playtime throughout the day, so they’ll never feel lonely. Your pup will have access to a fully fenced yard with plenty of turf for running, playing, or soaking up the sunshine. The doggy door lets them come and go freely, and we’re located near walking trails, so they’ll get plenty of exercise during their stay.
