About: I’ve worked in a dog daycare services for the last 8 years. I cared for over 10 dogs or more in a previous daycare home. My duties were to care for all the pups, feed scheduled meals, give prescribed medications, maintain the yard, change dog diapers, and greet clients who were picking up of dropping off their dogs. About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs. I feel time together and attention is what bonds both humans and dogs, and seeing them go from anxious and confused to a happy member of "the pack" is one of the more rewarding parts of taking care of them, so I prefer stays long or frequent enough for your pup to feel at home with me and in my home, but I'm also always willing to cover a tight spot or step in for a day of daycare. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for the entire day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take only up to three dogs at a time, and mostly for medium to long term boarding, so it's a calm environment without a ton of new dogs coming and going. I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, walks, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. My space is easily partitioned to allow dogs to eat, nap, or hang out alone in peace if that's what they prefer. I have a doggy door for dogs who like to let themselves in/out at their leisure. (it's about 50/50 whether they figure it out and make use of it lol) I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I don't generally use kennels or crates, but if your dog prefers or is used to using one, by all means bring it along. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture. I have found even "reactive" and "solitary" dogs very quickly acclimate to a more social environment (it usually only takes 3-4 hours) and I never leave them together unsupervised until they're demonstrating clear friendliness to each other. Many dog parents bring their pups over just for this kind of socialization, and it's great to watch a dog that "hates all other dogs" running and playing in the yard with the group after snarling at everyone just a few hours before.

About: Hello pet parents! Here’s a little bit about me: I’ve been dog sitting for the last 9 years, through Rover, long time clients and personal friends. I grew up around dogs in my family and have really enjoyed learning to train and care for other pups. I work from home at a health and wellness company and having a furry friend around definitely brightens every day! Working from home, I tend to have more time on my hands to help you take care of your pup so you can have an ease of mind while you’re away 😊 My mornings start bright and early around 8 am. Walks will usually happen by that time, or earlier / later depending on your dog’s needs. I don’t have many meetings throughout the day, so I have a lot of flexibility 😊 For boarding: My apartment is well kept and clean and I never leave any open garbage or food scraps out so you do not to worry about your dogs getting into them. My place is about 1150 sq ft (2 bedrooms) so there’s a bit of room to play! For home sitting: I will always make note of house rules and abide by them at all times (and make sure your dog is too!). You can trust me to keep the place neat and tidy, just the way you left it!

My duties were to care for all the pups, feed scheduled meals, give prescribed medications, maintain the yard, change dog diapers, and greet clients who were picking up of dropping off their dogs. As of now I dog sit for friends, family members, and for other clients who I have been referred to. I enjoy working with dogs and caring for them. I do have two of my own fur babies who are Lola and Pepper. Hello, I am on summer break from school and decided to start taking care of dogs or dog walking in my downtime which is primarily on the weekends. As of right now I do work M-F in healthcare. If I’m hired to dog sit for a few days I normally check in with owners to see what their dog or dogs routines are.It’s important for me to gather this information to better care for the dogs and to make sure that my client is satisfied with my work ethic. Another thing that I like to do before a dog sitting service is scheduled I prefer to do meet and greets to make sure that the clients and pets are comfortable with me. Every pet and owner is different and I just want to make sure that I’m able to meet their care requirements.

For everyone’s comfort and safety, all visiting dogs must be friendly with children. We can’t wait to welcome your pup into our little family and help them feel safe, loved, and right at home. 🐾 I am at home full-time so your pet will always be my priority. For home-visits and walks, organising times convenient for you and your pet can be easily arranged. My husband, Ahmet (another animal lover!) works from home regularly also. We don't have any other pets and we don't accept multiple bookings at once so your fur-baby will always be our focus. Our home is a bright and spacious bungalow on a tree-lined street with our own fenced yard for your pup to play in. We are incredibly active people who spend a lot of time outdoors and we are committed to offering your pet a holiday of it's own whilst staying with us!

“Athene was so great with my new rescue dog Coco. We just adopted her a few months ago and are still getting to know her but had a camping trip planned and couldn't take her on any of the hikes so we needed boarding. Athene lives right in the neighborhood and we set up a meet & greet. Coco was immediately at ease in her space, even with lots of dogs barking behind another door. Athene's temperament is very soothing and confident and the dogs respond to her well. Coco spent 2 nights with her and we got regular updates via photos & videos. Coco apparently demonstrated some resource guarding behavior which Athene handled like a champ by feeding her separately. She let me know about everything as soon as I picked up Coco, which was really helpful as we're still getting to know her ourselves so every little bit of information we can get about her personality & habits helps. Overall, I felt Athene was a super capable boarder and will absolutely use her again!”

Her husband gave Henry special attention at night because Henry did not want to be in a separate room at night so he slept in same room as Henry. Jane has a yard that Henry enjoyed with her dog. Jane and her husband were sweet and we did a meet and greet before drop off. Jane was able to take care of Henry's special diet restrictions. I would use Jane again:)”
