What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.
“This was Arnie's first time boarding with a sitter, and he had a wonderful time with Loretta. He made a new best friend with another dog, and had such a good time that he didn't seem to miss us that much (I think he enjoyed his vacation!) Loretta shared pictures and commentary with us so we always felt in touch with Arnie. I was most impressed with her flexibility - our travel plans changed unexpectedly, and we needed to have Arnie stay with Loretta an additional day. She was very accommodating, and everything went smoothly. Loretta is very responsive to messages and obviously loves dogs! I would highly recommend!”

Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. “I made sure to Book Dean a few months before my scheduled vacation because Dean is hands-down, without a doubt the best cat sitter. I’ve had many cat sitters in the past and they were all very kind and I felt that my cats were safe with them but it’s different with Dean. When we come home after a long vacation, my cats feel different if they have been watched by Dean. We can tell that they were not only safe and well fed, but they felt loved. Dean brings over handmade cat toys and special treats and engages with them the entire time. We can tell just by the photos how much our cats love Dean. About: Hello! I have grown-up with dogs all my life. I currently have two adorable babies Charles and Tika (1year old siblings) who I love to pieces. Aside from my job as a nanny, I have dog sat more times than I can count and take my bosses dogs to the dog park 3 times a week for exercise and playtime! I have taken care of dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors and enjoy going to the dog park or walking around the neighborhood! It brings me so much joy and happiness into my life! I am a nanny and have been with the same family for over 16 years. I took care of three children but now I only have the youngest left. He is in school during the day and I am free from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Saturdays I am off. I have 6 hours free everyday to be able to take your fur baby/babies for some fun in the sun, exercise, explore, or fresh air! I safely transport my bosses dogs to and from home to the dog park. All dogs are on a leash until we arrive. Once we are there I play ball or walk around with them and always have my attention to make sure they are safe from any aggressive dogs or anything on the floor that they might want to eat. I bring my two little yorkie mixes with me for company and playtime with the other dogs. I carry wipes, poop bags, water, and hand sanitizer at all times because it comes in handy on a daily basis!

About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.

He made a new best friend with another dog, and had such a good time that he didn't seem to miss us that much (I think he enjoyed his vacation!) Loretta shared pictures and commentary with us so we always felt in touch with Arnie. I was most impressed with her flexibility - our travel plans changed unexpectedly, and we needed to have Arnie stay with Loretta an additional day. She was very accommodating, and everything went smoothly. Loretta is very responsive to messages and obviously loves dogs! I would highly recommend!”
“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”
