We host up to 3 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Growing up, I have personally cared for medium-sized dogs, specifically a German shepherd and Pitbull, and also 3 different cats. About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

I can care for your pet by taking them on walks, hikes, or dog park adventures. I can also stay with your pet at your home. I don’t bring folks’ pets into my home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of different kinds. My love for pets have been for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I have personally cared for medium-sized dogs, specifically a German shepherd and Pitbull, and also 3 different cats. What comes with your pet visit: 1 on 1 attention full of love and care. 30 minutes or more of playtime at the dog park at least once per stay 15-20 min. walks (at least 3 times a day). Meals will be served morning and evening Positive reinforcement is a must! Please note that it is a MUST that your dog is neutered/spayed to prevent any accidents. And let me know of any problem behaviors so I can best understand your dog's needs and how to approach it.
