When she's in his care he has tight control over her behaviors and as necessary separates her at mealtime. He really treats her well, keeping her safe as well as the other dogs at his retreat. About: We are an animal-loving household! When I am with your pup, they have my full attention and we spend our time playing and going for walks. If your dog is up for it, I love taking them on longer walks on paved trails or hikes. However, I do not visit dog parks unless you specifically request it. I pride myself on building a strong bond with every dog so that I can quickly notice any signs of illness or discomfort. To ensure your pup receives total attention and love, I only host one dog at a time. Pet sitting is not a business for us; my husband and I are retired empty-nesters who simply miss the companionship of a pet. Because we love to travel, we choose not to own a dog of our own right now. On a typical day, I take your pup out 3 to 4 times: 20-30 minutes in the morning, 1–2 hours in the afternoon (depending on their energy level), and another 20-30 minutes before bedtime. If your dog prefers shorter strolls, we will take multiple brief walks instead. For playtime, we love playing tug-of-war on the deck or keep-away in our safely fenced backyard. My husband and I are active, retired empty nesters who love the companionship of pets. We walk frequently and enjoy having a fur baby join us on our adventures. When your pet stays with us, they become part of the family—we take them everywhere and never leave them home alone. If you have a preferred pet sling or carrier, please bring it along. If not, we can use ours, which is cleaned after each use. We have a large, fully fenced backyard with a clean deck and patio where I can play with your pup. The yard consists of concrete and decking, alongside dedicated areas for plants and flowers—completely weed-free! Your pet is also welcome to roam freely around our house and relax on the furniture.

About: I am a physically active recent retiree and capable dog lover who recently lost my beloved Wheaten Terrier after 11 great years with him, so I'm well able to care for your very active or senior dog that might have special dietary or physical needs. I'm recently retired and home every day, so I have lots of time to care for your pet. Drop-off and pick-up very flexible every day and evening. Although we have a securely fenced and paved back yard, it contains a swimming pool, so we kept our own pet indoors or on our fenced in, covered deck/patio which is also secure. We have a large dog crate which our dog slept in every night, but this is flexible depending on your own dog's sleeping preferences. I do not let pets sleep on my bed. We live on a very quiet street with no 'through' traffic, so it's easy to walk your dog regularly without risking encounters with other pets. Our own dog was not comfortable around other dogs and this was easy for us to manage.

About: I’ve owned pets all my life. I had a dearly loved dog that I saw through from puppyhood all the way to thirteen years old when she passed from cancer. I’ve had two cats since they were kittens, one of which had hyperthyroidism which required daily treatments. He has since passed away from kidney failure at seventeen. As a team with my sister, we personally trained our dog — and even the cats — using books to learn how to bond with the animals. I’ve not had a conventional job working with animals, but I am my friends’ go-to for pet sitting. I’ve done extended stay pet sitting (ten+ days) involving overnight care. I’ve handled daily medications for cats and dogs and worked on leash training for a friend’s dog as well as house training puppies. I currently live with an elderly cat and three freshwater aquariums. I’m available most days of the week and on weekends. I’m a freelance artist and my work is easy to time manage around. I always clean up after a pet and make sure they have easy access to water at all times. I know how to keep dogs inside a fenced area and keep inside cats from running out the door.

My pit is a well behaved 65# bundle of muscle so I was looking for someone who had experience with larger dogs. Juan was had experience with Pit mixes so I felt comfortable sending Jelly with him. I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and overnights depending on the request, and I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. I do not offer boarding in my home at this time. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I care for pets in their own home and follow the owner’s instructions closely. I pay attention to feeding routines, fresh water, litter boxes, doors, locks, leash safety, and keeping pets secure and comfortable. I’ll also provide updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs of every kind in my life. I have had two dogs that I’ve owned, from a Puggle (medium/small dog) to a current large/medium dog (Paco). Family and friends have trusted me to walk their dogs as well as house-sit for them with their furry friend. I am a recent college graduate in search of a full-time job, so my schedule is very flexible at the moment! I have been dog walking as well as housesitting for a few furry friends since my graduation and would love to help out in any way I can through Rover! I am available to dog walk and dog sit (in your place of residence), but I cannot provide my own home for the dog sitting since I have a dog that does not like another furry friend in his space. I love all other animals as well as dogs, so if there is other accommodations for other animals, I can be of assistance for them.

“Our Pug LOVES staying with this lovely family. My dog is so emotionally needy, and at 11 years old we have a very tight relationship. She won't walk away from me for anyone....except Yogesh. He is a dog whisperer and it's amazing to witness. She has a couple behavioral issue, lunges at bigger dogs when walked and gets food aggressive. When she's in his care he has tight control over her behaviors and as necessary separates her at mealtime. He really treats her well, keeping her safe as well as the other dogs at his retreat. About: Virtually 24/7 availability! I work from home and can provide care and attention for almost all day long. I have had dogs for about 20 years as well as lots of foster/rescue experience. I work from home so I can care for your pet as needed! Your dog can have run of the house - I allow dogs on furniture and even let them sleep in our bed if that's what they are used to. I have a fenced backyard and a small, friendly, neutered Pomeranian mix to keep your dog company! I am in a single adult home with no children.
