About: I am a physically active recent retiree and capable dog lover who recently lost my beloved Wheaten Terrier after 11 great years with him, so I'm well able to care for your very active or senior dog that might have special dietary or physical needs. I'm recently retired and home every day, so I have lots of time to care for your pet. Drop-off and pick-up very flexible every day and evening. Although we have a securely fenced and paved back yard, it contains a swimming pool, so we kept our own pet indoors or on our fenced in, covered deck/patio which is also secure. We have a large dog crate which our dog slept in every night, but this is flexible depending on your own dog's sleeping preferences. I do not let pets sleep on my bed. We live on a very quiet street with no 'through' traffic, so it's easy to walk your dog regularly without risking encounters with other pets. Our own dog was not comfortable around other dogs and this was easy for us to manage.

About: I grew up with multiple cats and really loved them. I took very good care of them. When I became an adult, I cared for my dog. Unfortunately, as she aged, she got really sick and I lovingly cared for her until her passing. I then had another dog, who was my life before children. I currently live in an apartment that does not allow pets, even though I desperately want to have them. Until my situation changes, I would love to help take care of your pets when you are unavailable. I'm currently able to work from home 3 days per week. About: I’ve owned pets all my life. I had a dearly loved dog that I saw through from puppyhood all the way to thirteen years old when she passed from cancer. I’ve had two cats since they were kittens, one of which had hyperthyroidism which required daily treatments. He has since passed away from kidney failure at seventeen. As a team with my sister, we personally trained our dog — and even the cats — using books to learn how to bond with the animals. I’ve not had a conventional job working with animals, but I am my friends’ go-to for pet sitting. I’ve done extended stay pet sitting (ten+ days) involving overnight care. I’ve handled daily medications for cats and dogs and worked on leash training for a friend’s dog as well as house training puppies. I currently live with an elderly cat and three freshwater aquariums. I’m available most days of the week and on weekends. I’m a freelance artist and my work is easy to time manage around. I always clean up after a pet and make sure they have easy access to water at all times. I know how to keep dogs inside a fenced area and keep inside cats from running out the door.

We go on daily outings for 45min or more and always the beach so I’m down for long walks with the doggies I work M-F 8-3 so available anytime after that and weekends! I know not every cat or dog wants to be approached the same way, and I try to meet them on their terms, earn their trust, and make the interaction feel safe and positive. Whether that means a walk, playtime, quiet companionship, or giving them space, I want your pet to feel comfortable with me. When I take care of an animal, I treat them like they’re my own. I’m attentive with feeding, water, litter boxes, walks, routines, house instructions, and updates. My goal is simple: for you to feel confident while you’re away, and for your pet to get care, attention, and comfort from our time together. I currently have flexible availability and can work with different pet-care needs, including walks, drop-in visits, cat care, and in-home pet sitting. I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and overnights depending on the request, and I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. I do not offer boarding in my home at this time. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I care for pets in their own home and follow the owner’s instructions closely. I pay attention to feeding routines, fresh water, litter boxes, doors, locks, leash safety, and keeping pets secure and comfortable. I’ll also provide updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs of every kind in my life. I have had two dogs that I’ve owned, from a Puggle (medium/small dog) to a current large/medium dog (Paco). Family and friends have trusted me to walk their dogs as well as house-sit for them with their furry friend. I am a recent college graduate in search of a full-time job, so my schedule is very flexible at the moment! I have been dog walking as well as housesitting for a few furry friends since my graduation and would love to help out in any way I can through Rover! I am available to dog walk and dog sit (in your place of residence), but I cannot provide my own home for the dog sitting since I have a dog that does not like another furry friend in his space. I love all other animals as well as dogs, so if there is other accommodations for other animals, I can be of assistance for them.

About: Virtually 24/7 availability! I work from home and can provide care and attention for almost all day long. I have had dogs for about 20 years as well as lots of foster/rescue experience. I work from home so I can care for your pet as needed! Your dog can have run of the house - I allow dogs on furniture and even let them sleep in our bed if that's what they are used to. I have a fenced backyard and a small, friendly, neutered Pomeranian mix to keep your dog company! I am in a single adult home with no children.
“Our Pug LOVES staying with this lovely family. My dog is so emotionally needy, and at 11 years old we have a very tight relationship. She won't walk away from me for anyone....except Yogesh. He is a dog whisperer and it's amazing to witness. She has a couple behavioral issue, lunges at bigger dogs when walked and gets food aggressive. When she's in his care he has tight control over her behaviors and as necessary separates her at mealtime. He really treats her well, keeping her safe as well as the other dogs at his retreat. I have proof, my dog walks away from me for him!”
