“Ivan was so good to Toko and Arya while I was gone! They're both small dogs who are reserved around new people and new dogs. Toko came to him with a broken foot and a bunch of built up anxiety since he couldn't exercise, while Arya has way too much energy. He was very careful to make sure Toko stayed comfortable and couldn't injure himself, but also took Arya on several long adventures. Ivan sent me many great photos and daily updates of the pups while I was on vacation, which greatly reduced my own anxiety over them staying over! I could tell they had a great time, and I won't hesitate to book Ivan again!”

Bennett had to win Tony's trust first, and that took just a couple of days (note: the medication was not something that would cause serious side-effects if not delivered daily).Before long, Tony was following Bennett around the house and playing with an interactive cat toy with him, and allowing Bennett to pet him. Our second cat, Max, has always been a shy one. Bennett did see him a number of times, but was unable to interact with them. Bennett was definitely organized and timely! He sent photos daily, updated the "meds" situation, was a super litter scooper, etc. Both boys are looking great, no one missed any meals, for sure. We would hire Bennett again, any time we are out of town.”

About: I am a physically active recent retiree and capable dog lover who recently lost my beloved Wheaten Terrier after 11 great years with him, so I'm well able to care for your very active or senior dog that might have special dietary or physical needs. I'm recently retired and home every day, so I have lots of time to care for your pet. Drop-off and pick-up very flexible every day and evening. Although we have a securely fenced and paved back yard, it contains a swimming pool, so we kept our own pet indoors or on our fenced in, covered deck/patio which is also secure. We have a large dog crate which our dog slept in every night, but this is flexible depending on your own dog's sleeping preferences. I do not let pets sleep on my bed. We live on a very quiet street with no 'through' traffic, so it's easy to walk your dog regularly without risking encounters with other pets. Our own dog was not comfortable around other dogs and this was easy for us to manage.

About: I’ve owned pets all my life. I had a dearly loved dog that I saw through from puppyhood all the way to thirteen years old when she passed from cancer. I’ve had two cats since they were kittens, one of which had hyperthyroidism which required daily treatments. He has since passed away from kidney failure at seventeen. As a team with my sister, we personally trained our dog — and even the cats — using books to learn how to bond with the animals. I’ve not had a conventional job working with animals, but I am my friends’ go-to for pet sitting. I’ve done extended stay pet sitting (ten+ days) involving overnight care. I’ve handled daily medications for cats and dogs and worked on leash training for a friend’s dog as well as house training puppies. I currently live with an elderly cat and three freshwater aquariums. I’m available most days of the week and on weekends. I’m a freelance artist and my work is easy to time manage around. I always clean up after a pet and make sure they have easy access to water at all times. I know how to keep dogs inside a fenced area and keep inside cats from running out the door.

About: I have a big house with many comfortable spots to choose from. There is plenty of yard for your curiosity and a warm deck to soak up some sunshine. The house is pet friendly and clean. You have my undivided attention and I can take you with me most of the time. I love your company and miss you when you go home. Discount for multi-dog families and extended stays. I work part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet. There is someone home almost all of the time, the exception being a couple of hours in the early afternoon. About: I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life, and I’m comfortable caring for animals of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I grew up with cats and was lucky enough to have a litter born in my room, so I’ve been around them from the very beginning. I currently have flexible availability and can work with different pet-care needs, including walks, drop-in visits, cat care, and in-home pet sitting. I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and overnights depending on the request, and I’m happy to discuss your pet’s normal routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. I do not offer boarding in my home at this time. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I care for pets in their own home and follow the owner’s instructions closely. I pay attention to feeding routines, fresh water, litter boxes, doors, locks, leash safety, and keeping pets secure and comfortable. I’ll also provide updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have taken care of many friend's and neighbor's dogs. I just finished playing Division 1 soccer and have tons of energy! Would love to run/walk/train some dogs with lots of energy. I also enjoy showing the older, more chill doggos some love. I am currently looking for jobs so I have a pretty open schedule. About: I have a deep care and understanding for dogs. I have taken care of young puppies as well as dogs as old as 16. I truly enjoy spending time with them and just making sure they are happiest they can be I am available for pet care on all days of the week and can work around my schedule for what best fits. I work from home so I can care for your pet as needed! Your dog can have run of the house - I allow dogs on furniture and even let them sleep in our bed if that's what they are used to.
