“It’s clear that Sojeong is a dog lover and is a kind, loving person because the moment Poppy met her, she immediately fell in love with her and my dog knows these things. ;) Sojeong and her family treated Poppy to multiple walks each day, lavished her with attention, cuddles and playtime, and they even took her to the dog park and treated her to a pup cup. I was worried Poppy wouldn’t want to come home after all this love. Sojeong is so great about asking the right questions and sending texts/videos multiple times a day. I am so grateful to Sojeong for taking such wonderful care of her! If I could, I would board my human kids with her too. She is so loving and trustworthy and I feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Great with my dog Austin, felt like I left him with family the way I got daily updates and occasional photos. I’m glad I found a home away from home for my soul dog”

“Albina is kind and great with dogs! My doggy can be a little difficult around people she doesn’t know, but she hit it off with Albina immediately! This was my second time working with her and she really is wonderful! I highly recommend Albina, she is communicative and send a lots of cute photos. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Henry was happy at Jane's resident. He got along well with her, her dog and family. Her husband gave Henry special attention at night because Henry did not want to be in a separate room at night so he slept in same room as Henry. Jane has a yard that Henry enjoyed with her dog. Jane and her husband were sweet and we did a meet and greet before drop off. Jane was able to take care of Henry's special diet restrictions. I would use Jane again:)”

“Thank you again for taking such good care of Sailor while we were away. It gives us comfort knowing he's in a safe and lovely place that we call Sailor's home away from home, and with a family who doesn't mind his quirks (gassy - haha, stubborn). We're so grateful.”

“Yulia asked very thoughtful questions in preparation to Stella’s stay, she was also very communicative throughout the stay sending me constant updates and pictures.”

“This was my first time leaving my Noodle, my 2 year old Goldendoodle, with a dog sitter. I was a bit nervous but Sevan made the experience wonderful! He has a large space with a backhouse where the dogs stay inside when it's hot outside. Noodle stayed for 2 nights. Sevan sent updates, photos, and videos multiple times per day. Sevan made us feel at ease. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about dog safety and wellbeing. Highly recommend!”

“Dan was fantastic with Nancy. I was nervous about her staying with other dogs but he is seasoned and has the feeding already worked out. She had a blast and came home happy. Will definitely book with Dan again!”
“Irina and her whole family treat my fur baby like their own. We always feel so grateful to be able to leave him with her, especially knowing that he is safe protected and well cared for he absolutely loves her girls”

“Very glad to have found Shahane. Our German Sheppard usually has separation anxiety when left with dog sitter. In this case, I think she has separation anxiety from her stay here. Will certainly bring her back.”

“Daria was great! She was very accommodating and quick to reply to all my texts. She also sent lots of photos which helped put my mind at ease. I will definitely leave my dogs with her again. Thank you!!”

“Angelica was a great host! She welcomed my pup into her home warmly, and took great care of him. A couple nights later, I picked up a very happy dog! She checked in with me while I was away and took the time to ask important questions about George. I would absolutely recommend Angelica!”

“Corrina was great to work with and very responsive! She made our pup feel right at home and sent us updates and photos. We could tell he was happy and relaxed when we picked him up! Great experience all around.”

“Barbara is the best sitter! She takes care of my cat Lancelot every time we travel. She gives him a lot of love and affection, and will go far and beyond to take care of unexpected things that happen when you travel (like plumbing issues). Thank you, Barbara!”

“Brittany did a great job taking care of our two cats when we were gone for a week. She stopped by every day at the same time and sent updates and photos. She was very amenable to taking in the mail and putting our trash cans back after trash day, which I appreciated. Would definitely request her again.”

About: I adore cats and would be more than happy to cuddle, play, or leave your cat alone, depending on their attitude of course! I lived with cats in college and feel comfortable and confident around them.
“Nathan did a great job taking care of our kitty. He bonded well with our cat and even brought down his own hand vacuum to clean up around the litter box. We will call on him again.”

About: We are not ready to own a pet full time just yet but I would love to help other owners with their pets. I do have children my youngest being 6 so they do have to be children friendly but I also have a safe space your pet can be separate from them when they want or need to be. I grew up with all different types of animals my whole life as well as worked taking care of, full time, a rescue that consisted of 16 cats, 5 dogs and 5 horses. So I am very familiar with animals and their needs. This is the first time I have not had a pet in my life which is why I decided to join this app. Hope to see you and your pets soon!! I am a licensed real estate agent and mother to three beautiful children. I am available at various times to watch and care for your pets. I love to be outdoors and going for walks. I live in an apartment complex, in the building that sits in the back. I have open space and an outdoors community area where your pet can go for a walk or use the bathroom. About: I grew up with a cat and have helped care for friends’ cats over the years, including multiple-cat households and a diabetic cat who needed insulin injections. I’m calm, dependable and happy to follow your cat’s lead, whether they want cuddles, quiet company or plenty of space. I know cats each have their own personalities, and I’ll make sure yours feels safe, cared for and respected while you’re away.

About: I’ve always loved pets and animals, especially dogs and cats! I have been taking care of my dog since 2020 when he was still teething 🥹 In the past couple years I’ve walked and dogsat for friends and family while they’re on vacation, giving their pets the love and care they deserve, while keeping pet parents’ minds at peace by sending them updates ❤️🐶😸 I’m currently a student at a local college, as well as work part time a few days a week, so I’m able for drop-ins during mornings (8-9am) and afternoon (3-7pm) all days except Wednesdays (3-4pm). For walking, I’m available Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday (4:30pm-7pm), or Sat & Sun (6-7:30pm) I treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they are safe, comfortable, and having a good time! On walks, I make sure they’re securely leashed and stick to safe & familiar routes, and for drop ins I always make sure to be respectful of your home and property, paying attention to all doors/gates/locks, and make sure your pets get food, fresh water, and all the attention they deserve, as well as clean up after them as needed! I’ll also always send quick updates so you know everything is going well :) 🫶

“Soejong was so sweet with Jamie. He is very nervous and thus was his first boarding experience. We had to have repairs done in the apartment and so I had to board him. She sent me lots of photos and he was being very brave exploring at night which I thought was a good sign that he liked her (otherwise he would have stayed hidden). If I have to board him again, I would definitely use Sojeong.”

“Casey was awesome! I had to schedule her house sit last minute and she was super responsive, on time, and communicated super fast with me. We had a meet and greet to see if my cat would be ok with her dog (which I wasn't sure how he would react to dogs and Bella was lovely and is super-highly trained). She stayed with us during the meet and greet until I was comfortable with their interaction (my cat wasn't a fan but they did well enough for me to feel comfortable and knowing he wouldn't be super stressed) and she answered all my questions. She kept me informed (with pictures) every day on their day-to-day and was super respectful of and attentive to my cat's special needs. Kobe needs a balanced diet with many supplements and a strict medicine schedule and she took amazing care of him. My apartment was also super tidy and clean when I returned. I'm beyond relieved I can trust Kobe with Casey in the future with no worries! Thank you so much, Casey!!”

About: I used to have cats when I was younger, but I became allergic to them over time. I love them so much though, so I will often play with them when given the chance. Cats have often warmed up to me easily. Since I have a decent understanding of their communication style, I'm able to respect their space and approach/handle them well.

“Lynda did a wonderful job caring for our very sociable cat, dropping in once a day for a month to feed him, clean the pan, & play with him. She even brought special toys he loved. I think Lynda will be our regular cat whisperer!”

“Sojeong and her parents took excellent care of our 2 reactive pups! My family and I dropped off our furbabies for daycare before heading to Universal Studios. Zoe is usually afraid of boys/men but she surprisingly had no problem walking with Sojeong's father! We were able to enjoy our time at Universal Studios without our furbabies because they appeared to be in good hands. Sojeong was incredibly patient and responsive. She provided multiple status, photo and video updates throughout their stay. My family and I highly recommend Sojeong, and we will book with Sojeong again the next time we're in town! 😊”

“Lisa took great care of our dogs on Christmas Day, allowing us to host without worrying about a dog escaping or eating dropped food. Thanks so much, Lisa!”

“Michelle & Liz are such amazing caretakers! They’re so attentive to any special requirements your pup may have, and are so kind. We had to reschedule because my dog got sick, and they checked up on her just because they cared. It meant so much! They are great sitters.”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life -- I grew up with dogs, have had two dogs as an adult, have fostered 10 or so dogs, and dogsit for friends all the time. I even have a god-dog. I love caring for cats as well, and snakes and other reptiles. I'm very intuitive with animals and will attune to your pet's needs fully. I take their inner worlds seriously and do as much as I can to give them fun, safety, and comfort. My work hours are flexible and mostly from home, so I can work around your pet's needs. I'm happy to provide drop-ins and walks mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I’m happy to play with your dog, provide treats and belly rubs, walks long or short, and crate them if you’d like. I'm now taking select boarding clients as well!

About: I have had many pets from dogs to hamsters and horses. I have eight years of pet sitting experience including dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and reptiles. I adopted my 12 yr old Yorkie from the Pasadena humane society and am also a dog walker on wag completing over 40 walks. I enjoy spending my time with animals because they ground me and motivate me to be present. I try my best to deeply engage with all the pets I care for and to show them extra love and give great comfort. I’m home for the summer and do not have any internships or jobs lined up so I’m spending all my time hanging out with dogs! I have a fenced yard and clean home in my other house that I would be house sitting at (where my Yorkie will not be)
“Thank you so much Albina!! It was very last minute and bullet had a good time. You were very communicative and the drop off and pick up was very quick. If I was in your area, she would be regular there.”

“Jonalyn was fantastic with my dog! She sent so many photos and kept Mocha busy and got her tired, which is hard to do. Mocha is usually nervously reluctant to separate from me, but every time we went to Jonalyn's, she got so excited. Definitely booking again!”

“Margarita was a great sitter for our puppy onyx. Friendly and very communicative; sending us text updates with photos. We’ll be happy to book her again. Definitely recommend her.”

About: What’s the most important thing all dog owners want to know before entrusting their dogs to a stranger? Well first of all I’m from Jersey. I’ll play with your dog, make sure they’re happy, take them on a walk, not lose them, and feed them only what you tell me to feed them. No human food, I promise. Unless of course that’s in your list of food to give them. Of course hydrate them as well. I know the do’s and don’ts of a dog’s diet since I have 2 of my own. I’ve also been fostering dogs on and off for the past 3 years. I am known to be reliable and responsible, so I can assure you that you can rest easy with leaving your dog(s) in my care. Or if you have a cat, I also get along super well with them since I also have 2 of my own! I work from home so I do have some flexibility or if you need eyes on your little one for long hours I will also be able to do that. I do have 2 cats so I have pet gates up to separate my cats from any dogs. The dogs get free roaming of the living room which tends to be enough for my two dogs plus any friends they’ve had over. Routine in my home is key. At your home, I’ll stick to your routine and respect your house rules. Whatever you require, it will be respected.
“The house is so clean and well set up and the owner really loves the dogs she looks after. Thoroughly recommend Shahane and family for day care and drop offs. They are very flexible with time as well!”

“Our pup was instantly a fan of Jennifer. He had a fun day and Jennifer sent pics and communicated well through the his stay. She took extra effort for his meals which I really appreciate!”

“Isabel took a great care of my dog while we were at the Rose Bowl game. She’s great with communication and was very quick in responding for drop off and pick up. Will definitely use her again next time we visit SoCal.”

About: Our pack loves to host and entertain dogs of every kind and age. Between my three sons, the walks/runs, the dog park, backyard and pool - your pups day is going to be filled with activities. I’m currently working from home and have plenty of time to watch over your family members. My sons are home for the summer and will also help out (feed/water/play) I have a husky female that is 7 years old and has a very chill temperament & loves loves company. My backyard is fenced and had a pool, so I hope your dog likes to swim! Luckily, I work out of my home office so it’s an integral part of my day. I ensure to allocate specific times throughout the day for walks, playtime, and feeding, making sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate pets’ needs effectively, providing a stable and loving environment. In my home, I provide a safe, clean space with plenty of room for play and relaxation, and my friendly Husky, Loba, helps new dogs feel at ease.
“Awesome spur of the moment stay. Daria’s can-do attitude and multiple photos throughout the visit allowed us to enjoy our time away without worries. We will look no farther for the perfect petsitter the next time we visit Glendale…we found Daria!!! Many thanks from Chula Cholula’s family 💗”

I currently have a 13 year old Chihuahua/American Eskimo mix, who has Cushing's Disease that is on medication twice a day, a 9 year old Rat Terrier/Toy Poodle mix and an 8 year old black short haired cat that loves snuggling. My little dogs love to play what I call trick or treat. The kitty loves to play fetch the hair elastic and fishing. I have recently started pet sitting for a cat in the neighborhood. Animals bring me joy and I would be honored to be a part of your pets life, even for a short time. I am currently building my own business so I have a lot of flexibility within my own schedule. I do like advanced notice but as we begin to build a regular relationship I will be open to last minute requests. When I am in your home, my job and my focus will be your pet. We really appreciated her detailed notes and great photos. She even brought in our packages, which was so nice. We definitely recommend her and will be booking her in the future!”

About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, from growing up with a cat to horseback riding, owning a horse, helping care for other people’s horses, walking friends’ dogs and having dogs of my own, including a German shepherd and two dachshunds. I currently don’t have pets, which is a big reason I’m signing up for Rover. I miss having animals around and would love to help care for yours. I’m an avid walker and hiker, so getting in my steps with a furry companion sounds wonderful. I’m comfortable with both larger and small dogs, and I also love cats, whether that means cuddling, giving them space or simply making sure they are well cared for. While I’m new to pet sitting through Rover, I’m a responsible, competent and trusted animal lover. Having had my own dogs, I know how much it means to find someone reliable and kind to care for your furry family members while you’re at work or on vacation. I’m a semi-retired freelancer with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I prefer early morning through mid-afternoon visits, but will try to be accommodating according to your schedule. I don’t have a fenced yard and am not able to host pets in my home, but I’m very happy to come to you for drop-in visits, cat care and neighborhood walks. I love getting outside with dogs and am equally happy to to spend indoor time with cats.
About: I have cared for dogs and cats of all sizes since I was a teenager. I have a deep love of animals and I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I’m currently working freelance and can generally work my schedule around your petsitting needs. I’m available for house/pet sitting, walks and feedings, attention giving and playing and everything in between. I’m a pet parent to a cat named Rio who is the love of my life. I’ve owned both dogs and cats throughout my life and I love both dearly. I’m tall and strong enough to handle and walk large dogs and am always very gentle with smaller dogs and cats.
About: I absolutely love dogs. I've grown up with dogs all my life, sometimes with 5 in the house at a time. Along with taking care of my own dogs, I began dog sitting and dog walking for family members and family friends when I was 15. I love making dogs happy, getting them out of the house on walks, playing tug of war with them, or just cuddling on the couch. I am a full time college student taking mainly online classes so I have a good amount of availability. I am available Monday-Friday mainly all day, for the weekends I have limited availability but I can always be flexible. I think being respectful of what your boundaries are is most important. Every owner and pup is different and I can adapt well to the different needs for each one. I believe that being gentle and patient is a necessity when it comes to pet care. When walking or caring for your pet I will hold the upmost care for them.
“Michelle and Elizabeth are the best! They have been so great with my pup Simba. Super reliable, communicative, prompt, friendly. Highly recommend. Thank you both so much and happy holidays!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. Extended family members have dropped off their pets with me when they are away on holiday. I enjoy playing with them. I work from home so your pet will have supervision at all times. Typically I walk my dog, Mochi, once in the morning. Sometimes I play fetch with her around noon if she's up for it. I feed her on schedule daily. I have a large fenced yard and one friendly dog who will enjoy a playmate, as you may see in the first photo of Mochi with the pavers and grass. I make sure that there is always fresh water available for Mochi and that she gets regular outdoor breaks.
“Samantha is great! She took such good care of our dog, Javi! I received photos and updates on his walks. She made sure to follow all instructions on taking care of him-feeding him and making sure that he was walked and did his business as usual = ) Samantha made sure to keep our home secure when she left after the walks. I felt very comfortable with her having access to my home. Javi was very well taken care of and seemed very happy when we came home. I would highly recommend Samantha to anyone who may need a walker or sitter for their pets.”

“Great with my dog Austin, felt like I left him with family the way I got daily updates and occasional photos. I’m glad I found a home away from home for my soul dog”

“Bianca was absolutely wonderful. We left Maple with her for 10 days while we were traveling, and she took such great care of her. She kept us updated every single day with messages, photos, and videos, which gave us so much comfort while we were away. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. It truly gives us peace of mind knowing we have someone we completely trust to care for our dog whenever we travel. Highly recommend Bianca to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Leah was so wonderful! I will 100% rebook with her. She watched my precious pup (a 4 year-old male dachshund) and my boyfriends sweet pup (a 4 year-old male Cockapoo) for one night and one day while we celebrated our anniversary. Before she watched them, we had a meet and great to make sure they behaved well with her sweet dachshund. All three got a long so we booked with her for the weekend. Leah sent photos and updates throughout their stay and you can really tell Leah loves dogs. I previously used another rover sitter who was lovely, but seemed a little annoyed with our dogs, so this was refreshing. She is so kind and knowledgeable and our dogs had a wonderful time! Nothing but good things, and I highly recommend! ☺️?”

“Conner is great! Went out of town for five days and was not worried about Larry once. He was communicative, took Larry on some awesome hikes, and sent photos everyday. The entire process was stress-free! I would recommend him to anyone looking for boarding services!”

About: Hi! I am a dog mom myself, so my husband and I will work together to take great care of your pooch! I have a Golden Retriever, Toby. He’s high energy and loves to play so sometimes comes in hot with others. Please let me know if there have been any issues with that with your dog. I had a little one for 14 years so comfortable with all sizes of dogs- I love them all. My schedule is pretty flexible and I will definitely try to accommodate your timing needs. I am home most of the day Tues-Fri. My husband is home on weekends and can be WFH flexible on Mondays for dog care as needed. Our golden, Toby, always gets a walk in the morning and plays throughout the day. Access to the fenced backyard is available all day. I have a fenced front and back yard. Dogs have access to the backyard all day when we’re home, and will be encouraged to go potty before we leave to go anywhere. No unsupervised front yard time, but if we’re doing stuff, they can hang out. We can crate other dogs, but Toby does not get crated, so happy to cover the crate to reduce fomo!
“Cathy took great care of Indigo for an overnight stay. He had lots of walks and enjoyed playing with Cathy’s pets. Cathy was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend her and will be booking with her again. Thanks, Cathy!”

“Alexa was so great with Draco! She watched him for a couple nights and kept us updated with the cutest photos from their walks. She's super friendly and quick to respond, which I really appreciated. This was our first time booking a sitter, so we were a little nervous tbh, but Draco came home happy, healthy, and relaxed. :) Already planning our next booking with her as I’m typing this!”

“Cindy and Hans were absolutely incredible with our dog, Cooper. From the moment we picked him up, it was clear he had completely fallen head over heels for Cindy… he followed her everywhere like her little shadow! It honestly warmed my heart to see how comfortable and happy he was with them. They treated Cooper like he was their own, and it showed in every way. When it was time to go home, I swear he looked a little sad to leave because he loved being with Cindy and Hans so much! As a dog parent, there is nothing better than knowing your pup is not just cared for, but truly loved while you’re away. We feel so lucky to have found Cindy and Hans. If you’re looking for people who will treat your dog like family, you couldn’t ask for better. Cooper can’t wait for his next visit! Sara & Ari”

“My husband and I booked a pet friendly hotel in Pasadena and planned on going to the 626 night market last weekend. At the time of booking, we didn't realize pets weren't allowed to be left unattended at the hotel at any time. Desperate to figure out where to leave my 10 month old pup Emma for a couple of hours, I learned about Rover and (around 9:30pm) began to message everyone and anyone I could in hopes of finding a last minute pet sitter. Angelica was quick to respond and very eager to help me with my situation. Upon dropping my pup off, her personality was very welcoming and her sons also looked very excited to spend time with my Emma. Although my pick up time was anticipated to be pretty late (around midnight or 1am!), she didn't seemed bothered by it at all. She truly is a pet lover! This review just isn't enough to show my appreciation for people like Angelica. I highly recommend using her (and her family) for your dog needs!”

“We left our dog with Jessica and Brian for 3 weeks and she was immaculately cared for! We got photo updates and felt very comfortable knowing she was well cared for. Thank you again for treating her like family! We would recommend Jessica to anyone!”

“the veggies had a great stay with Kenzie! she sent a handful of photos every day and kept me updated. she was super understanding when my flight was delayed nearly 2.5 hours which was a huge relief i so appreciated.”
