Don’t get me wrong, he was a fine dog at drop off. But being with Alice and her dogs helped him to grow up, and she even trained him with a few new commands. She has natural mesquite sticks for the dogs to chew on, got them extra toys, you name it she is a dream. If you want to not only not worry about your dog, but know that your dog is having a joyous and loving wonderful experience, Alice should be your choice. “My dogs loved hanging out at Shawna’s! We were in town visiting from the east coast for a friend’s wedding. Shawna helped me out by watching Maeby and Merle overnight while I was attending the wedding. It was their first ever sleepover without me, so I was a little nervous. Shawna made me feel at ease by discussing expectations before the trip. Once I dropped the dogs off at Shawna’s I knew they were in great hands! Her space is so dog friendly and spacious. About: I have lived all my life in the South Bay. I went to school in Rolling Hills, I went to College in Long Beach. I have worked in the Aerospace industry since the 1980's. In 2012 rescued a Pitbull from a abusive life. So I immersed myself in learning the Dog Whispers' training methods. I have had a dog ever since my third birthday. I have worked with Dachshunds, Schnauzer Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull's, Poodles, Shih Tzu, and Beagles. I believe all dogs have been given to mankind to show us how to live life. You are welcome to bring a blanket or bed for your pup (at your own risk) Please don’t bring an expensive one as there’s a risk of getting chewed, torn, or peed on etc by other dogs at daycare. We have beds so you don’t have to bring one unless you would like to. This is their little vacation and we do our best to make it a great one for them 🥰🐾

About: I have a farm and a lifelong love for all animals! Currently, I care for my three furry friends and livestock, ensuring they receive the best care possible. My hands-on experience with a variety of animals and a trusted reputation among friends and family set me apart. I specialize in drop-ins, walking, and occasional overnight pet care, providing attentive and personalized care for your pets. Whether it's a quick visit or a refreshing walk, your pets will be in good hands. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine! As of right now, I am free most days during the daytime, unless stated. (Usually from 12:30pm till 3pm, then anytime after 6pm) Additionally, I sometimes bring someone from my family to accompany me (approved by you ofc). This provides better engagement for your pets and ensures there’s someone to assist if anything were to happen. At a client’s house, I prioritize creating a comfortable environment for their pets by following their routine and preferences. I ensure they have plenty of exercise, companionship, and playtime, while also respecting the home’s guidelines. Communication is key, so I’ll provide regular updates and stay attentive to their pets' needs!
About: I have taken care of both domestic and exotic animals all my life. I have lived in mostly farm lands. I have experience with every situation you can think of from timid, hyper, aggressive, and disabled. I work from home so my schedule is extremely open! Whether you have an easy to handle pet or one that is a little more difficult. I have the experience and patience for it all. Currently, I work from home. I also clean houses. My schedule is never really set in stone so I’m very flexible . I am also able to do same day sometimes depending on what I have going on that day! I will not just be checking in on your pet ! If I come in and happen to see your pet had an accident. I will let you know and I will also clean it up for you! I will follow every request that you have whether you have a fenced in yard or you prefer the dog to be walked with the leash! As far as cats, I am very aware that they do like to run out so I always make sure to squeeze in and out of the door very carefully to make sure none of your pets escape! I take a detailed note of how you like things being done and the time as well to not change your pets schedule too much from the norm. I will take picture documentation if needed and make sure they get fed the correct amount and the way they like it as we know some pets like their food prepped a certain way! This is your baby. I will make sure that they feel loved and safe with me.

Shawna helped me out by watching Maeby and Merle overnight while I was attending the wedding. It was their first ever sleepover without me, so I was a little nervous. About: I have lived all my life in the South Bay. I went to school in Rolling Hills, I went to College in Long Beach. I have worked in the Aerospace industry since the 1980's. In 2012 rescued a Pitbull from a abusive life. So I immersed myself in learning the Dog Whispers' training methods. I have had a dog ever since my third birthday. I have worked with Dachshunds, Schnauzer Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull's, Poodles, Shih Tzu, and Beagles. I believe all dogs have been given to mankind to show us how to live life. Unconditional love, live in the moment, don't worry and greet everyone with excitement and love. In conclusion, I will always treat you family member as my own and love taking care of them. I am retired so I am very flexible. I currently Walk dogs for elderly people at the Apache Mobile Home park. I am looking to expanding my services outside the park. I have fenced yard and my home is open to the dogs I care for and I have water and treats available. Your pets are welcomed to my couches and dog beds or pet cage.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for the last 40 years—my own & others. I’m great with energetic dogs. Have also taken care of cats & birds & donkeys. I’m an author working on my second book, so my time is flexible. I have two dogs of my own but they don’t mind if I hang out with other animals. I have two dogs of my own—one from New York, the other a desert dog—so I understand the unique challenges of taking care of all types of dogs in this environment.
