They actually got excited in the backseat when we pulled up to their house and we’d only swung by for an initial meeting the week prior. The backyard is large and fully fenced, real grass, lots of trees and bushes for the dogs to smell for squirrels and explore. They both slept the whole way home, which never happens. About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and have trained several of my own dogs myself. I don’t currently have a doggo, but I do have cats and have been missing having them around! I frequently take care of my mom’s senior dog who requires several meals and medications per day, as well as my dad’s dog who is 5 and on medication as well! My entire childhood I helped dog/cat sit, and since I work remotely from home, I figured I could get started again. (: I’m a full time mental health therapist/social worker, that works from home! I have sessions that last 50 minutes each, with 10 minute breaks in between throughout the most of the day, as well as an hour or two lunch break. About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and have trained several of my own dogs myself. I don’t currently have a doggo, but I do have cats and have been missing having them around! I frequently take care of my mom’s senior dog who requires several meals and medications per day, as well as my dad’s dog who is 5 and on medication as well! My entire childhood I helped dog/cat sit, and since I work remotely from home, I figured I could get started again. (: I’m a full time mental health therapist/social worker, that works from home! I have sessions that last 50 minutes each, with 10 minute breaks in between throughout the most of the day, as well as an hour or two lunch break. Because of my frequent breaks, I’m able to give frequent potty breaks, as well as walks throughout the day! I live in a downstairs two bed, two bath apartment, with plenty of space for your pets! All pets are allowed on furniture and have free access to roam, or have space to be separated from my cats if that makes you feel more comfortable. I will work to create a space that makes you and your pet feel the most comfortable possible! I also am comfortable with crate training, potty pads/training, and any other behavioral problems that can arise.

Growing up with a dog, I have always had a special bond with animals and understand how much they become part of the family. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection throughout the day. I enjoy going on walks, playing with toys, giving belly, rubs and cuddles, and making sure they are never feeling lonely or bored. When caring for pets in a client‘s home, I make it a prior to follow their normal routine as close as possible. I’m happy to follow specific feeding schedules, provide freshwater, take dogs on walks, clean up after them, and give them plenty of playtime and companionship. I also understand that every pet is different so I take time to learn their personality, preferences, and any special instructions from their owner. My goal is to make each pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
