“We were so happy to find Clarissa. We left town with confidence that our dog was in wonderful hands and would be cared for well. This was our first time using the service and I would be happy to call on Clarissa to care for our dog again.”

“As always, our doggie's stay with Krystle was PAWSOME! :) He loves going to her house, and we always feel so grateful that we can leave him with someone so loving, devoted and responsible. We love Krystle and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a safe, loving, fun place for their dog to stay while they are away.”
“I met a few pet sitters on Rover and my dog did not “click” with them, or their pets. The moment we got to Iris’ house, my dog was excited! He was so happy to meet her and her dogs. He has never reacted like that before! I knew he would be in good hands. Iris is very responsive, answered every question that I had and made sure my dog was comfortable. I’ll definitely be using her again in the future! Great experience.”

“This has been a great experience knowing that Cooper is being loved and care for so we can relax on our trip. We loved the pic's! We will definitely reach out on our next trip and thank you so much Jamie. Ron & Cindy :)”

“Megan was so sweet and took amazing care of my girl. She communicated well before and throughout the provided care and followed all instructions perfectly. Also provided plenty of updates and photos for me throughout the day. A strong recommendation for anyone looking”

“This time we left our pups with Kara for multiple nights. As usual, she did a great job taking care of them and had them ready for pickup at our scheduled time. Communication with was always prompt.”

“We loved Brianna and her family! They took wonderful care of Zoey. She got to play with their doggy, their sweet kiddos and returned home happy. Highly recommend and will hire Brianna again!”

“We had amazing experience with Christie! We were stress-free, knowing that Rambo was in the best hands with her and her pup. He had the best time and felt safe in her hands! Look forward to the next time booking with her! 😊”

“Fluffy stayed with Eric for a week. I received constant photo and video updates throughout the week and when I picked her up I could tell she was very comfortable and relaxed before spotting me by the door!”

“I have been meaning to find another Rover dogsitter for my GSD but many Rover sitters do not take in large breed dogs. I found Casey online, she confirmed she will take a GSD so we arranged a meet and greet first so I could see how my dog was reacting to the environment and other dogs. That went fine, so I booked a 4 night stay recently. I was so pleased with how Casey took care of Pipa, she sent me a photo, gave me updates on how Pipa was doing and everything went really well. Casey let Pipa sleep at the foot of her bed and I think that made my dog feel really secure and she played well with the other dogs. Great stay and I was very pleased all around.”

“A friendly family :) We trusted hem with our 1-year-old Golden Retriever, and he liked them so much he was even reluctant to leave! The family has dogs of all sizes so your puppy will be guaranteed to have a friend!”

“We are so happy with the care that Riley and Derek provided our pup. We could tell that he was well loved and fit right in with their family. We would absolutely use them again!”

“She was great after I spoke with her I was much more relaxed about leaving them. My dogs are 12+ and after never been left with strangers but they took to her and her home immediately. I don’t leave them often but I will consider her the next time I go out of town. Thank you so much. 😊”

“When you need a last minute sitter, Jennifer is there to rescue you. Very quick to respond to messages, super friendly and very professional. Would absolutely be booking with her again.”

“Jennifer is amazing and treats your pet like a member of the family! She loves and understands dogs. I know my Cooper is loved and well cared for when she is with Jennifer. I highly recommend her!”

“Sarah is the best! She is extremely thorough, responsive, detail-oriented, and was very accommodating when we had to adjust our travel plans last minute. Sarah was great with our cats, and even our super shy kitty ended up coming out of hiding to play with her! We can't recommend Sarah highly enough!”

About: I grew up on a 30 acre farm in TN taking care of pets from cats and dogs to chicken and cows! Have comfort and trust knowing that your pet is in good hands with a considerate and communicative sitter. As a real estate agent my schedule is very flexible for my pet clients. I can work with your schedule and the times that work best for you. I tend to be extremely detail oriented and conscientious of what pets need to ensure they are safe and well taken care of. My attention to the “small things” separates me from other pet caretakers.
“Grace was great with my kitties while I was away for a weekend. I really appreciated her attention to detail, communication skills, punctuality, and thoroughness. She was even able to win over my typically shy kitties! I highly recommend Grace as I think any pet parent would be impressed by her work!”

“Kaitlyn is amazing! She takes such good care of my fur babies and sends wonderful pictures and updates. I am able to travel without worrying over my little loves being left at home because I know they are happy and comfortable! I swear my cat Raspy was disappointed when it was me at the door instead of Kaitlyn again 😂”

“The best thing about Angela is that she loves my cat as if he were one of her own! I can’t imagine a better sitter for my cat, who is normally shy around others but has truly been comfortable with Angela. I am sincerely grateful for her and appreciate all her help!”

I believe maintaining your pet's routines is very important.

“Isabella was amazing! She is kind hearted and our dogs saw that immediately. She took very good care of our pups while we were on vacation, feeding and talking them for a walk. Both our dogs felt comfortable and happy with Isabella as did our family. We look forward to using her again.”

About: For the past 8 years, my daughter has been working with a rescue, fostering dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to sweet seniors. I’ve been by her side every step of the way, helping care for each one. Through the years, I’ve gained so much experience and joy being around these amazing pups. They’ve filled our home with love while they wait to find their forever families, and every one of them has left a paw print on our hearts. Pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine. From morning walks and mealtime to play sessions and cuddles, I make sure every pet feels loved and secure. Whether it’s a quick potty break or a relaxing evening stroll, I prioritize their comfort and happiness just like I would with my own. Caring for animals has become a joyful and meaningful part of my everyday life. When I care for pets in someone’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions carefully and give them plenty of love, attention, and playtime. Being in their familiar environment helps them feel safe and relaxed, and I do everything I can to make sure they’re comfortable and happy while their family is away.

“Eric was absolutely amazing with our dogs, Cooper and Emma. From the beginning, communication was great and he kept us updated with photos and messages during every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear he genuinely cared for them and treated them like his own, really spending time getting to know them and building a trusting relationship with them. He made sure they got outside time, attention and plenty of care. Both pups were happy and comfortable the entire time. We also really appreciated how dependable, kind and accommodating he was throughout the whole process. We came home to two very happy dogs and couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to Eric again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets!”

About: ⚠️ PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING ⚠️ To ensure we're a good fit and to respect both our time, please review my pricing and policies below before reaching out. Thank you! Welcome! I'm so glad you're here 🐾 Why families choose me I know how hard it is to leave your furry family member with someone new. That's why I'd love for you to visit my home before booking – see where your pet will stay, meet me in person, and get a feel for the environment. No pressure, just peace of mind. Here's what makes my care different: I only take two to three pets at a time. Yes, I have space for more, but I intentionally keep things small. Your pet isn't just another booking; they get my full attention, a calm environment, and the kind of care I'd want for my own pet. Since I work from home, your pet is never alone. If your pup has separation anxiety or just loves company, they'll have me nearby all day. I genuinely treat every guest like they're part of my family. What you can expect • Photos you'll actually love: I take pride in capturing beautiful moments of your pet. Check out my profile photos – that's the quality you'll get! I want you to see your pet's personality shine and know they're happy and loved. • Real communication: During business hours, you can call me anytime. Need an update? Have a question? I'm here. Your peace of mind matters. • A spotless home: My place is deep-cleaned weekly. It's fresh, odor-free, and hygienic. You're always welcome to visit! Just a heads up – I do ask guests to remove shoes to keep things pristine. • Safe outdoor space: The backyard has seven gorgeous redwood trees that provide tons of shade. That said, your pup will spend most of their time inside with me, where it's cool and comfortable. I never leave dogs unsupervised outside for extended periods. • A calm, quiet home: No young kids, and no elderly family members. Just a peaceful space where your pet can relax and be the star of the show. • No pool: One less thing to worry about! Safety first. Important details about care & pricing • Veterinary care: If I notice anything concerning about your pet's health, I'll contact you immediately (and Rover). If I can't reach you, I'll take them to the vet. All bookings are covered by Rover's Guarantee (up to $25,000 for eligible vet expenses). • Pricing adjustments: I do charge additional fees for certain situations to ensure I can provide the best care: Small: Base Rate Medium dogs: (30-60 lbs): +$15 Large dogs (60-90 lbs): +$20 Giant dogs (90-200 lbs): +$100 Puppies under 1 year (not potty trained): +$125 Why the large/giant dog fees? I want to be transparent about this. • Decline other reservations: due to the lack of space, I might need to be forced to cancel other reservations to ensure we have adequate space for your furry friend. • Space & capacity: When I host a large or giant breed, it often means I can only take one other pet (or sometimes no other pets) to ensure everyone has adequate space and comfort. This limits my availability for other bookings. • Physical demands: Larger dogs require more physical strength and energy – from handling on walks to managing their movements indoors. It's more intensive work to provide the attentive, hands-on care they deserve. • Wear and resources: Bigger dogs naturally need more of everything – more food, more space, more cleanup. They also create more wear on furniture, floors, and the home environment. • Individual attention: Every dog gets my full focus, but larger dogs often need extra time and specialized care to ensure they're comfortable and happy in my home. This pricing ensures I can give your large or giant dog the quality, individualized attention they deserve without compromising on care. Why the puppy fee? Puppies are wonderful, but they need specialized care! I take your pup out every 30 minutes to support their potty training and help them develop good habits. It's hands-on work, but it makes a real difference. If your puppy is already crate and potty trained, I'm happy to waive this fee. Again, please review these details before reaching out so we can make sure we're the right fit for your pet! I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! 🐕💕 A day in the life with me 🌅 I'm naturally an early riser, which works out perfectly for your pup! Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning: We start the day with a refreshing morning walk to get those legs moving and set a positive tone for the day. Throughout the day: Your dog will get regular potty breaks in my backyard all morning long. Since I work from home, I'm always here to let them out when they need it. Evening: When the weather's nice, we'll wind down with an evening walk to stretch, explore, and burn off any remaining energy. This is the exact routine I followed with my own dog, and it worked wonders for his potty training. He learned to trust that I'd take him out when needed, and I learned to trust that he'd wait. It's all about consistency and communication! Your dog will seamlessly become part of my daily rhythm – same love, same care, same attention I gave my own. They're not just a guest; they're family while they're here. 🐕❤️ 🐣They will be in a safe and secure environment, where no dog will be distressed. I prioritize understanding each dog's behavior by discussing their temperament with clients and taking proactive measures to ensure a calm and harmonious atmosphere. This is why I limit the number of dogs to a maximum of two per night, to maintain individual attention and safety for all pets involved.

“Renee was punctual when we met her for the first time. She suggested walking Chase around our cul-de-sac to see how he would do, which I really appreciated. Renee was very friendly and gentle with my puppy, and Chase immediately liked her. She also came well prepared when she arrived at our home. Overall, we had a great first experience with her.”

About: Hi, I’m Dalene. I have 35 + years’ experience caring for my furry, feathered, and reptilian friends-those of my neighbors, friends, and clients, and I understand how valuable they are as an important member of your household. I have experience working with disabled pets, senior pets, and administering medication. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and energy. I prioritize reading body language, so I can identify if your pet has an illness, or is anxious and stressed, to ensure their safety, health, and happiness. I have past volunteer experience working at the Monterey County SPCA, and worked mainly with the dogs, playing with them, taking them for walks, and evaluating new arrivals for adoption. It was so rewarding when they were adopted! I volunteered at the Monterey zoo, and helped care for monkeys, elephants, ferrets, etc. I have a crazy alligator story I will share with you if you ask! 🫣 I am a full time pet sitter, so I’ll have plenty of time for belly rubs, playing fetch, relaxing with your pets, long walks, and making sure their needs are met. At this time, I only care for pets in your home where they are most comfortable, and I will provide a calm environment where they feel safe, nurtured, and loved. Each pet is unique, and I will care for them accordingly. I will send you photos of your pets throughout the day, to give you peace of mind, so you know they are happy and content. Safety is of utmost importance when it comes to your pets, and I’m aware of other dogs when out on a walk, and making sure doors and gates are closed. I will not have houseguests over. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pets! 😊

“Kate is a really great dog walker. She was available on short notice, timely, had a genuine love for our dog, and after just a few walks he is already super excited to see her for exercise time!”

About: My girlfriend and I had our dog for 10 years (adopted at 4 from the SPCA). She was the greatest dog and died of liver cancer early this year. It was an awesome privilege to grow up with her. I'm not going to take up this space mentioning all the cute little details of our lives, but know that i enjoyed every bit of it. I know the ups and downs of a dogs life and can channel that energy. Our dog Keiko got sick multiple times and through Iriving pet hospital and a certain doctor we were able to care for her in a way that made us realize a dog's resilience. I mean she went from 40 pounds to 50 to 30. Skin issues, and eventually cancer. But we stuck with it, learned a lot and eventually made that decision when it was time. So that love is there. I work from home, so depening on your schedule, we can work out something. Just message me, and I am confident we can make something work. Thanks. With our dog, we had a backyard that was fenced. So that was extremely helpful. We also had a dog fence outside of our door. I'm familiar with pads if necessary. We always walked our dog outside on leash unless she was at the beach. But I realize this varies for every dog. Also, if you read my profile, I want you to know that my girlfriend and I have lost our dog earlier this year. If it is comfortable with you, we can both combine to walk your dog if that helps. Obviously we aren't looking for any extra compensation. It's just that we are great with dogs and want to make sure your dog feels cool. Just an option to consider.
About: I grew up around dogs and cats and have been an animal lover since birth. Pet sitter for family and friends for the last 5+ years. I am a special education teacher working full time about 10 minutes from home. I feed my own pets (cat and dog) morning and night and take the dog for a afternoon/nightly walk. I have a fenced yard and very friendly dog to keep company during the day. Very friendly indoor cat and the dog at night. Can crate dog if needed (up to medium dogs). Access to litter box in my home.
About: I'm a former 4H member which means I've not only taken care of a variety of animals, I've also shown them in competitions. I have personal experience taking care of Dogs, Cats, Horses, Birds, Rabbits & Rodents, and even Fish. I have owned and cared for many animals throughout my life, most of them have lived to old age--don't you just wish they could live forever? I am happy to take care of your loved ones as if they were my own for however long you need to be away from home. I am currently on Leave of Absence from work due to health issues which means I have all day and night to spend with your critters. I will follow your care instructions as closely as humanly possible! Need me to cuddle them during a storm? "Cook" their food before serving it? Shove a pill in a hotdog? Give your pet an IV bag? Been there, done that. Whatever they need, I'm there.

“We had amazing experience with Christie! We were stress-free, knowing that Rambo was in the best hands with her and her pup. He had the best time and felt safe in her hands! Look forward to the next time booking with her! 😊”

“Eric was amazing with my golden retriever puppy. He sent daily updates on how she was doing and I could tell she was in very good hands. I would definitely board my dog with him again.”

“Lisa was fantastic! She was able to watch our dog on a late notice and it seemed like he had a great time playing with the other dogs! We appreciated the photo updates as well :)”

“Scott is hands down the greatest sitter! He is so respectful and professional. It’s clear he really cares about animals. He made sure our dog was comfortable and sent us some pictures throughout the day. I will definitely rely on Scott in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Thanh-Mai is an outstanding sitter and took exceptional care of my dog, Maya! I will absolutely hook Thanh-Mai the next time I go out of town! Not only did Thanh-Mai show Maya as much love and attention as Maya was her own dog - taking her for walks and giving her plenty of cuddles - but Thanh-Mai was extremely communicative and professional and kept me updated with plenty of photos and messages through Maya’s stay. It put me at ease knowing Maya was in such a comfortable and loving environment while I was gone. I highly recommend Thanh-Mai to anyone looking for a sitter for their dog!”

“Absolutely amazing! My dog is not easy to handle, he’s aggressive, he’s 90lbs, not friendly with other dogs or cats. ReShan was so patient and kept us updated every single day. He worked with him and gained his trust. The videos were definitely a plus. If you’re debating, I say go with ReShan!! He’s a great choice and he takes safety precautions to keep your pet safe and secure.”
“Jasleen was very attentive and caring with my boy. I really appreciate that she kept in contact with me about his daily routine. Will definitely use her again. Thank you Jasleen.”

“Anaia was very sweet as well as hospitable to our pups who love to take over your bed :) We appreciated the pictures, and she seemed to be very on top of getting them out for walks. She also had everything packed and ready to pick up including the crate which was a big help. Thank you Anaia!”
