About: I'm the friend who everyone asks to take care of their dog (including senior dogs). I love our furry friends—and appreciate every families trust. I raised a Bichon puppy and later cared for her as a 12 year old senior dog. I have fostered and helped to train 4 rescue dogs through the Milo Foundation and frequently pop by to volunteer walk Milo dogs. I am an executive who works from home so I am at the dog's side non-stop and have the flexibility to take several walks a day. I'm also a 5 minute drive to Blackie's Pasture for longer walks. I have a super clean home. The dogs are allowed everywhere. I have a very clean, safe home. I also have access to popular dog parks/walks. I pay close attention to dietary restrictions, etc. And when it comes to passing another dog on leash I always ask if the dog is friendly. I'm a mom to an 11 year old—I care for dogs like they are kiddos.

“We are SO grateful we found Luna! Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). “Charlie was well taken cared for at Lei's home. I constantly got updates and pictures so I felt very at ease that he was looked after. Lei and her family was taking him on lots of walks and allowing Charlie to sleep on their lap. They gave him a lot of attention. Lei went beyond by putting freeze dried liver and also boiled chicken so Charlie would eat. They were patient with him and kept him safe and secure. I love taking dogs on hikes near Mount Tam and to the beach when we're on our turf and I firmly believe in the importance of treats and scratchies. I live in an apartment by a dog-friendly beach so we’ll definitely be playing at the playa. I follow your rules so your pet has the same high caliber of care here as at their home. I offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times from 8 am to 8 pm. I take my pup on a daily walk and play with him pretty much constantly whenever he’s not snoozing. Please keep in mind, I only board pups over a year old and cannot board dogs who are not fully potty trained or who need to be taken out more frequently than every 3 hours to potty. I like to follow the rules you've established for your pets - if they aren't allowed on furniture, I’ll make sure that stays. If they are, they're welcome to snuggle on the couch with us. I work from home and take my dog to the beach daily as well as on frequent walks and hikes. We are pretty flexible around here! In my home, we follow your rules. Potato is used to snuggling on rye couch during movie night and on the bed overnight. We welcome snuggle buddies! I am home most of the day working so pets get LOTS of attention and love.

About: Hello! I have cared for animals of every kind since I was able to hold a leash, brush a cat, and collect chicken eggs. I'm a Mill Valley mom, educator, and current owner of two sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I have owned cats, dogs, chickens, rodents and birds. I keep bees as an active beekeeper. I am experienced with medically fragile animals and am comfortable giving all meds, including subcutaneous fluids. My home is warm, safe, child and animal friendly. “Alina was awesome and went above and beyond. My cat had a medical scare and stopped eating for three days and Alina was really awesome and took her into our vet to make sure she was okay. After that event I offered to pick her up early because i felt bad about the extra stress but she was reassuring and was totally fine for me to stick with the original time. I could tell my cat got the best care and treatment including administering oral medication which can be hard to do. I give her my best recommendation!”
About: Shelby grew up with Labrador retrievers ever since she was 5 years old. She has experience with medication administration, ear cleaning, walking, and more. We have a 2.5 year old dachshund who we crate, potty, and leash trained. We are both dog lovers with some of our friends saying Shelby is “the most dog obsessed person I’ve ever met.” We will strive to make your dog feel as comfortable as possible while respecting any rules and boundaries you have in your own home. We absolutely love every kind of dog and would give your fur baby 5 star care ⭐️ We both work from home, so our schedules are very flexible. We take our dog out 3 times a day for potty breaks and several walks a day. We can really take your dog out whenever is needed, as one of us is always available. Our home is very, very dog proof. Our dog loves to eat everything so we’re very mindful of keeping things tidy. Especially with larger dogs, we put away our dogs smaller toys, so that there’s no possibility of them being ingested (there’s the labrador experience haha!) we will be around and loving your pet 24/7 while they’re in our care ❤️
