During one of the most stressful and uncertain situations our family has experienced, he stepped in and helped us in a way that went far beyond simply watching our dogs. We had to suddenly evacuate due to a chemical leak and were scrambling to find care for our pups at the last minute, with no idea how long we would be displaced. Bernard responded almost immediately and took such a huge weight off our shoulders during a time that felt chaotic and overwhelming. We originally booked for four days because we had no idea when we’d be allowed to return home. When our evacuation was thankfully lifted earlier than expected, I reached out to Bernard and without hesitation he was incredibly understanding and flexible. He immediately adjusted our booking and even waived the cancellation fee! something that meant so much to us during an already stressful time. Throughout everything, he sent us pictures and videos of our pups and made sure we knew they were happy, safe, and being cared for. “This was our first boarding situation for our puppy and so I was not going to accept anything less than perfect. And that is what Cheby is. Perfect. She has extensive experience in caring for puppies. Even sick ones. We were going on a 8 day Fiji vacation and the day of drop off my puppy in the morning was having GI distress. I took her to my vet and my Tiger received IV fluids with plans for a restricted diet. I called Cheby and explained the situation and her response was calming and told us no problem - she told me this is what she does - takes care of your beloved puppy. She had no issues with dietary modifications and administration of meds. She updated us with letters, videos, pictures and updates. Tiger had so much fun there and was loved by Cheby. She had a very healthy fun 8 days with Cheby. She was kind, communicative and a joy to work with. She is my only choice for boarding and I have the ability to go anywhere. Thank you Cheby!”

I also have some fish (most were goldfish, and right now I have a Betta fish), a rabbit, etc. I am pretty much free except for when there is a home nhl (hockey) game I love them so much that I’m currently in school to become a veterinarian. About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 9 years old unfortunately he passed away years ago. But I love all dogs. My friends trust me to come check in with their pets when they go out of town bd their dog love me! I am a teacher so I’m off in the summer time and have plenty of time for all the pups! My schedule in the summer will be very flexible. I have a clean home and I follow directions well. However you want your dog cared for is exactly what you’ll get! I also keep a close eye on all dogs to make sure they’re not getting into anything or swallowing anything.

About: I’ve always been great with dogs and quickly pick up on their personalities and needs. I’m comfortable caring for younger dogs with lots of energy as well as older dogs who need a gentler, more patient approach. I also have experience working with animals in therapy settings, including birds and horses, which has made me more attentive and adaptable overall. I’ve cared for my neighbors’ pets while they’re away, and I’ve also worked in professional animal therapy settings where I was responsible for keeping track of routines, needs, and care on my own. I make sure every dog feels at ease and gets the attention they deserve. Pet care fits well into my routine as a student. I’m available most Saturdays, weekday afternoons (and sometimes mornings), and late evenings if needed. I’m able to plan my schedule around pet care responsibilities, making sure each dog gets consistent attention, exercise, and care. I focus on making sure each dog gets the care and attention they need in the time I’m there. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, and walks if needed. I also spend time giving them attention and companionship so they don’t feel lonely, whether that’s playing, relaxing, or just keeping them company. I pay attention to their behavior and make sure everything seems normal before I leave. I always respect the client’s home and provide updates so owners know their dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I’ve had a dog before and I started loving all kinds of animals since I was little. I also have some fish (most were goldfish, and right now I have a Betta fish), a rabbit, etc. I am pretty much free except for when there is a home nhl (hockey) game I love them so much that I’m currently in school to become a veterinarian. Your pet or loved one will be in safe hands with me. I will also do my best in making your love one feel comfortable and loved when your at work or on vacation and can not bring them with you. If you have a very active pet it is fine with me and if you do not that’s fine with me too. I currently work part time and during my down time I would love to broaden my career with my veterinarian degree and passion for them. I will always make sure they are secure and safe before any walks. If I see any other fur buddies coming our way during our adventurous walks I will cross the street (when safe) to make sure everyone is comfortable. Your fur buddy will have tons of belly rubs, lots of play times multiple walks and potty breaks throughout the day. Also if okay they will also get positive reinforcement with treats.
About: I used to have three maltese poodle mixed dogs at home and I have dog sat many dogs in my lifetime. I am available to dog-sit and dog-walk. “We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Bernard. During one of the most stressful and uncertain situations our family has experienced, he stepped in and helped us in a way that went far beyond simply watching our dogs. We had to suddenly evacuate due to a chemical leak and were scrambling to find care for our pups at the last minute, with no idea how long we would be displaced. Bernard responded almost immediately and took such a huge weight off our shoulders during a time that felt chaotic and overwhelming. We originally booked for four days because we had no idea when we’d be allowed to return home. When our evacuation was thankfully lifted earlier than expected, I reached out to Bernard and without hesitation he was incredibly understanding and flexible. He immediately adjusted our booking and even waived the cancellation fee! something that meant so much to us during an already stressful time. Throughout everything, he sent us pictures and videos of our pups and made sure we knew they were happy, safe, and being cared for. Seeing them relaxed and enjoying his big backyard brought us such comfort when we needed it most. Bernard didn’t just provide pet sitting, he provided kindness, compassion, reassurance, and peace of mind during a moment when our family really needed it. About: Pending on parents wishes, we take walks, play, I will have doggie toys or they can bring their own. I can do medication, including injections, give them breakfasts and snacks pending parents bringing what the babies like Im currently available everyday, once I start my daily job, I can still stay at your homes, and walk, feed and play. And all day onweekends, mindful that I am available now 24/7 I have a fenced yard, no other doggies on property. I always say less is more when it comes to meeting a new pup no matter the age.
