These dogs have either stayed for just the day, overnight, or have boarded with me, the longest-boarding being 2-3 months with a German-Shepherd rescue, and we always have a blast. We always seek to find a routine so as to calm any boredom or stress throughout each day! We play, take walks, hang out in the grass yard / property, and go on 1-3 miles hikes in the local area! I love to spoil every dog I have the pleasure to be around, take scenic walks, and of course taking lots and lots of pictures. Daytime Adventures: Available most weeks days (7am-4pm, pickup or drop off) to take your pup on a hike, play yard games, and practice new skills. Sitting and Boarding: Kainoa and Carly are available for night and weekend sitting or longer-term boarding with 1 week advance notice. We live on a large property with a fenced-in yard, lush green-pasture for playtime, and complete with a shaded (puppy-proof) deck! About: I have been a animal lover for as long as I can remember! I got my first dog, Daisy, when I was 7 Years old and quickly found a passion for caring for animals. My family and friends have relied on me over the years to walk, feed, and love their pets. I even spent a few summers volunteering at the Humane Society in Marin County. About: I have been professionally caring for dogs and cats in-home for about 5 years part-time, but I was raised in a home that routinely took in stray and surrendered animals. I am a lifelong vegetarian and 10-year vegan with a deep love for all creatures. In addition to caring for animal companions, I like to leave homes better than I found them. Whenever possible, I do some light housekeeping so that when folks return from their trips, they come back to happy animals and a cozy home where they can just put their bags down and crawl into a bed! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love them all. I often watched others dogs in the neighborhood growing up while people were out of town take care of friends and families dogs when they are traveling or at work I work from home and have a golden retriever who I already take care of. He loves to play with other dogs so loves whenever we get to god sit. I have a fenced yard and take the dogs for an afternoon and night walk on my lunch and after work. I have a dog of my own so my house is kept tidy with nothing that would be unsafe for dogs.
