Toko came to him with a broken foot and a bunch of built up anxiety since he couldn't exercise, while Arya has way too much energy. He was very careful to make sure Toko stayed comfortable and couldn't injure himself, but also took Arya on several long adventures. Ivan sent me many great photos and daily updates of the pups while I was on vacation, which greatly reduced my own anxiety over them staying over! Zoe specializes in boarding this kind of dog in her home, as she is a very sweet, mellow person and provides a calm environment for the animals she boards. She walked him every day and let him out on her patio for sunshine and fresh air. Inside, he was welcome to snuggle next to her on the couch. She was available for a meet-and-greet right away and was able to accommodate our last-minute request. Our little guy spent a whole week there and was VERY happy. We could tell from the daily videos he was loved, happy and well-cared for. Definitely go with Zoe, especially if you have an older and/or anxious pet.”

About: I have an extremely flexible schedule (available during “work hours”/ weekdays). I grew up with small dogs and currently have a Doberman now. So I have experience caring for both large and small breeds. Since my Doberman is a working breed, we’ve attended many training classes over the last 3 years. About: I don’t have problem taking caredogs. My friends and family used to relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets. After work, I’m generally available beginning around 4:30 p.m., as well as evenings and weekends. I strive to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. My husband and I live in a spacious 1,200-square-foot, two-bedroom apartment with our calm, friendly 8-year-old Lab/Weimaraner mix. We have plenty of room for dogs to relax indoors, along with easy access to a large grassy area right outside our home for bathroom breaks. We also live next to a walking trail, nearby schools with open fields, and two local dog parks for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and socialization. Every pet is different, so I’ll always follow your preferences and routine, whether that means leisurely neighborhood walks, playtime, or simply sticking to familiar habits. I carefully introduce dogs when appropriate, supervise interactions, and provide regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: Dogs have been a big part of our lives. We adopted Bruno, our beloved Labrador Retriever, with whom we spent 11 years until he fought bravely with cancer but could not win. Bruno socialized me to his friends like Mastiffs, German Shepherds, Corgis, Golden Retrievers and many more and helped me understand that each dog, irrespective of his breed, has a unique personality and temperament. Thus, please do tell us about your dogs unique traits and his phobias so that we can make him feel at home. This is important for us to know as dogs undergo huge stress to be away from their home. After Bruno passed away, we adopted Rex, Labrador Retriever, who has helped us heal and made us realize how important dogs are in our lives! Both, me and my wife WFH and have flexible working schedule. So one of us will be at home to take care of the pack. We have Rex, a Labrador Retreiver, who goes on walks 2x times a day for 2-3 miles everyday. If the dog is staying with us, based on his needs, he can join us on our walks. Plus, we have a fully fenced backyard for dogs to play and run freely. Often, we take break from our work and play with our dog in the backyard or go for a small 5-10 min walk outside our home. For everyone’s safety, the dog should get along with kids and other dogs. Please let us know if there are any health issues and/or food allergies. My wife and I have experience caring for senior dogs, and both of us are comfortable administering medications as needed.
About: I have an extremely flexible schedule (available during “work hours”/ weekdays). I grew up with small dogs and currently have a Doberman now. So I have experience caring for both large and small breeds. Since my Doberman is a working breed, we’ve attended many training classes over the last 3 years. My doberman is extremely friendly and he gets along with all other dogs. He can be energetic outside but also super chill and calm at home. When you book any services with me, you can expect fast communication and lots of updates with pictures and videos! I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! Majority of the time I’ll be doing work on my laptop remotely on a flexible schedule. I sill have plenty of time to bring your pups on walks. I wfh all weekdays so I will be able yo watch your dog and let them out every 2-4 hours. My bf also wfh so there will be a second pair of eyes to ensure the pups safety!
“We love Akosua! This was our first time leaving our old pittie-boxer mix, Ethel, with Akosua after another Rover flaked on us a week before we needed pet care. Akosua was willing to quickly schedule a meet-and-greet with us and take Ethel on short notice, and we can't say enough how great she was! Akosua is so calm and sweet (perfect for our baby!), and is clearly very knowledgeable about and comfortable with caring for all types of dogs. She asked so many great questions that nobody has ever asked before, was great with communication and providing updates with photos, and even helped Ethel practice her training in our absence. Ethel was very calm and relaxed when she came home, which has never happened with a sitter before -- she's previously been wound-up and anxious for a few hours after getting home.
