I work from home so I have a ton of availability and will spend most of your pet’s stay at home with them. I’ve raised several litters of labradors, I had a horse ranch for 15 1/2 years, we had six dogs and six cats and 20 horses on the ranch. I had to train the dogs and my barn cat to be around horses, so they wouldn’t get kicked or stepped on. I am retired, so I am pretty flexible for morning visits or walking, also afternoon visits are walking. I can board at my house if needed, I have 5 acres, all fenced, so plenty of room to run if you’d like to bring your pups to the house. I have two very friendly dogs, also two different size crates if they’re needed.

Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I currently have a very open schedule for the summer, with availability through July 27. After that, I'll be working just three days a week, leaving four full days to dedicate to caring for your furry friends. When caring for pets in my client's home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I also respect your home, keep you updated with photos and messages, and treat your pets like they're my own while you're away.
About: I’ve cared for pets with a wide range of personalities, ages, and needs, including dogs, cats, horses, tortoises, and birds. My experience includes overnight pet sitting, caring for multiple pets at the same time, following detailed feeding and medication schedules, and providing plenty of exercise, playtime, and companionship. In addition to pet sitting, I worked as a Client Service Representative at an emergency veterinary hospital. While I wasn’t providing medical care, I worked closely with veterinary professionals. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available most days, including weekdays, weekends, and many holidays. I do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. About: Hello! My name is Kayla & I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have always grown up with a pet in the house, whether it be a hamster, fish, kitten, puppy, etc. I currently have 4 pets of my own. Yes, 4 pets: 3 cats & 1 dog, but let’s be honest— they’re my babies! They bring me so much joy and if you’re anything like me, your fur babies do the same for you; you’d do anything to keep them happy, too. With that being said, I definitely understand that life can be unexpected and get crazy. So, I’d love to be able to put my experience, along with my free time to help out fellow animal lovers whenever I can! In addition, I’ve successfully crate-trained all of my animals, as well as trained certain commands such as sit, shake, etc. So, I am confident in being able to help train yours, too if that’s something you’re working on! About: I grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I started dog sitting for friends while in college and have loved it ever since. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. About: I’ve had English bulldogs for 10 years. I haven’t met a dog I didn’t love. I can administer most meds with instructions. I’ll care for your dog as if it were my own and she’s spoiled! I work full-time but mostly remote, so I’m home a lot. I can ensure your dog’s needs are met on a daily basis, they’re the best companions. I have a fenced yard and a small area with turf for potty breaks. I live near a dog park and can take them there, weather permitting. I consider dogs a part of the household so they’re allowed everywhere but I’ll also follow your lead if you have specific instructions.

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard.
