“Madison is the best person for you to pick to watch after your babies! She did so good with my shy girl who takes awhile to come around. She was able to keep my playful girl happy and occupied. She followed all the instructions and left everything clean and tidy. I can’t say enough good things. Pick her for your babies sake!”

“We needed Isabella to check on our cat for a few days while we were away on an extended trip, so we didn’t get a chance to meet first. She was amazing! She updated me about Queenie, and made sure other needs around the house were taken care of. It’s hard to trust folks you haven’t worked with before with your pets— but Isabella was a great choice! We would hire her again, Queens would approve.”

“Therese is wonderful with my 4 kitties. Two of them are very shy and have already accepted her as a friend. She is always responsive, gets the job done, and even humors me about my craziness and over-thorough instructions.🤣”

“Chelsea was such a great sitter for our cats Willow and Kenny! Chelsea was very communicative and sent awesome photos so we could see our babies while we were gone! They clearly loved their time with Chelsea! We would love to have you back!”

“Thank you for always being incredible and taking care of our babies! Especially now that one of them takes a pill! Kristine and Michael go above and beyond consistently. Kristine went so far as to opening our cat’s pill and sprinkling her medicine in her food and making sure she ate it all. We’re so grateful to have you watch our babies!”

“Taylor was great! She responds quickly to messages and did everything that was asked. I had her do a drop in for my cat while I was on vacation. She showed everyday around the same time and fed and cleaned his box. I was given daily updates on his eating and pictures of him hiding. I will use again and I highly recommend hiring her.”

“They were amazing! From caring for my cat to playing with her and from adorable pictures to finding her when she snuck in behind the dishwasher, I had no anxiety having them take care of my cat while I was out. This was an incredible first experience with pet sitting for me, and I 100% recommend!!”

“This was the longest I left my bunny, and Estefany made me felt so at ease as a return sitter. She is excellent at communicating and was so kind with lots of travel changes I had along the way. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Emilee was a lifesaver! I needed a pet sitter with very little notice for my two senior cats, one on a special diet, and one on daily meds. She was flexible when scheduling the meet and greet and she was incredibly communicative with notes and photos during her 2x a day drop ins. I have been so impressed with her professionalism and care. I definitely recommend Emilee!”

“Sky was really great. Our cats felt comfortable around her immediately, and she took great care of them and our home. We had a minor miscommunication about feeding, but Sky was very responsive and quickly corrected the schedule. Being able to adjust and correct like that shows a truly great sitter who cares for the animals. Definitely would recommend Sky for pet and house sitting.”

“Andrew was terrific. He took great care of our cat while we were out of town. Our trip was also delayed several days due to weather and he was super flexible. He sent pictures daily and gave great updates.”

“Excellent cat sitter! She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of my cats while I was out of town. She followed all instructions and kept me updated throughout the trip, which I really appreciated. Everything was handled exactly as expected, and I returned home to two happy cats. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be using her again for future trips.”

“Laree and Keith were amazing sitters. We initially booked our dogs stay with another sitter. Unfortunately, that didn’t go through so we booked a last minute day care with Laree and Keith. We are so glad and very thankful that they were available and able to accommodate our requests. Our dogs had a great time and we highly recommend this sitter. Thank you again for the last minute booking!”

“Carolyn is fantastic and it shows how much she loves Dogs. Marlie had a long day with her and is pooped. She is very content. Hope to use Carolyn again while visiting AZ.”

“Krysten took amazing care of Dexter for his first day of daycare! The photo and video updates throughout the day gave us total peace of mind. Dexter had a great time, and we can’t wait to book future daycare and boarding stays with her!”

“Courtney took my dog 🐕 in as a first time visitor on short notice. My normally shy dog seemed to trust and warm up to her and her dogs very quickly. I got great updates throughout the day and Lucy returned to me happy in the evening. I would definitely leave Lucy here again.”

“Rosie loves days that she gets to go to Jessica’s! She always has a great time and leaves tired. And Jessica is great at communicating and working with our schedule. Would recommend!”

About: Hello! My name is Jess. I have an empty nest now and a pet-shaped hole in my heart. Looking to care for your furry loved one part-time to get my cuddles. I’ve raised two puppies and cared for dogs ranging from a large mountain cur to a rambunctious maltipoo. I’ve also cared for many cats over the years, especially senior cats with medication and special care needs. Friends regularly rely on me to care for their dogs, cats, and even turtles ha, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and administering medications when needed. I’m a caring, responsible, and easygoing person who will make sure your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I work from home, have no other pets at the moment, and a lovely yard, so your pet will get lots of attention, care, and cuddles throughout the day! You'll receive as many pet photos and updates as you'd like. I’d love the opportunity to meet your fur baby and hope to hear from you soon! I work remote and can be up early at 5 am for early walks. My job has few meetings, so there will be plenty of play time throughout the day. My yard is fully fenced, and I live alone, so your pet will get plenty of attention and care. Whether they’re here for a fun day visit or overnight boarding, they’ll be spoiled with TLC.

“What can I say except at Cynthia is incredible! Oliver gets so excited as soon as he sees that we are turning onto her street. I’m always at peace when he’s with her because I know that she’s giving him all of the love, snuggles and playtime that he wants and needs. I could ask for a better person to care for my little guy!”

“We've used Tom for day care for several years when we visit the area in the spring. He is terrific and Touhy is very comfortable with him. Tom takes him for long walks and sends pictures. Tom is great.”

“Nicole and Rose did a great job caring for Keeko! They took such good care of him and he was so happy hanging out with them. Would definitely recommend them to care for your pups!”

I used to volunteer at Pasado’s Safehaven in Washington, and my favorite thing was to bottle feed the cows! I’ve also fed & changed swan bedding on the swan committee, fostered a bob cat, squirrels, horses, and birds. For personal pets I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, parakeets, canaries, cockatiels, leopard geckos, anoles, hermit crabs, tarantulas, various fish and aquatic critters/plants. I also have a pet cam I can talk to them, send you pics, and dispense treats :) I will make sure we do a meet and greet so we can discuss any specific needs/safety concerns you might have! I have a lot of space and working from home makes frequent checks as simple as looking over from my work desk. My apartment unit is also directly across from the complex dog park and a large grass area! I have one cat, but she’s anti social so she would be kept separate in another room to enjoy her peace and quiet
“Our senior mutt, Roxie (11.5yrs) went to Will’s for the first time for daycare while we were moving. Walked right in when Michelle greeted her. The place is so well kept. When we picked her up, she was happy & content. We will definitely be taking her back here again. Thank you for the photos, also!”

“If you want your fur baby to feel loved and be well cared for in your absence then you absolutely want Alan and his family! Being with Alan was home away from home for Koda. Koda and I both get separation anxiety but was able to rest easy knowing and seeing that he was having a great time. ❤️”

“Nothing but positive things to say! Briana was very easy to communicate with in order to make arrangements. Her and her family were very patient with our little maltipoo and she even sent me updates with pictures throughout the day that provided me re-assurance our fur baby was doing well.”

“Ashley did an amazing job. Our dogs had never been to a pet sitter and they loved spending time with her. We were traveling and Ashley was very flexible and accommodating. We would highly recommend Ashley for any pet sitting needs. She is a natural with pets and you can tell she loves what she does.”

Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, I’m happy to give them the attention they need. Between me and my wife, there's always someone around to give pets attention and care. We work as a team to make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and part of the family while they’re with us. Our 3 year old shitzu is very relaxed and has stayed with many different animals in the past, she loves to have playmates. And our kids (8-16) love to help give some quality attention as well. At our place, pets get lots of room to run and play in the fenced yard, plus a comfy spot inside to chill. When I’m at your home, I follow your usual routine to keep things easy and familiar for your pet. Either way, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for.

Have laptop and WiFi will travel. Weekends are open. Monday and Tuesdays I work 8:30 to 3:30 pm. I have a cat so can’t care in my home right now. About: We both have had pets our entire lives. My fiance worked at a shelter for a number of years so he is very familiar with giving any sort of meds or care your dog will need. We both work from home so your dog will not be left alone except if we have to run to the store. Potty breaks will be every hour if needed. I have a huge yard that is fenced. I also have a 2 year old pup who loves to play and run around. He does well with matching other dogs energy. He is a huge sleeper during the day. We love to cuddle. We love taking pups on walks.
About: Growing up, my parents always had a family dog in our home. When I turned 18 and went to college, I adopted a puppy that was abandoned in the woods and found on a hike. He became my best friend. He lived to be 14 and passed from old age/ heart murmur, February of 2022. I miss him every day and a friend I taught with, suggested I pet sit! I figured it would be worth a try, as I had pet sit for a few friends and family in the past. In 2022, I gained 30 positive reviews (on Rover) from my fabulous fur friends and their families. In 2023, I gained 17 positive reviews. In 2024, I gained 15 positive reviews. In 2025 I gained 27 positive reviews. I currently have zero negative reviews...I'd LOVE to keep it that way ;) I have several repeat clients and I encourage you to READ my reviews! -I do require a *complimentary* free Meet and Greet visit, prior to our first booking together. This ensures that we are all the best fit for one another! You reach out to me. I'll initiate the scheduling of the meet and greet visit. I usually prefer to schedule these on a Saturday or Sunday- late afternoon. You'd send me your address, as Rover does not display the pet parent's home address until both the pet sitter and pet parent have clicked the "confirm booking" button (located at the top of the message screen in the Rover app.) If you do not have the Rover app, you can use your device to go to Google. Type Rover in the Google search bar to access the website, directly. From there, log in Rover and you can navigate your way to your messages/ rover inbox. This is where you and I will do all of our communicating. Rover duplicates both the pet parent and pet sitter's messages to one another in not only the rover inbox, but also your email associated with Rover...AND your (regular) personal text messages. Drop your phone in the toilet? Just find a device with internet and log in rover. We can still communicate! Whew! Rover does protect the privacy of both the pet sitter and the pet parent, by using an alternate phone number, assigned to each party using the Rover app (this is similar to how Lyft or Uber would use a "fake" phone number for privacy reasons.) When I arrive to your home for the meet and greet, we usually sit in your doorway for the initial hello pets...lots of waggin tails ❤️ Next, we usually sit on your couch for about 30-90 minutes to talk about myself, your pet, your requests, etc. I'm usually petting your fur love as we talk, making sure we're best furrriends! To wrap up our meeting, the pet owner usually walks myself around the home, making sure to show me: The location of pet food, food dishe(s), water dishe(s), medication(s), written directions for your booking (which I will take a photo of to read later,) the bedroom I will be sleeping in, etc. I will make sure your home feels safe and clean, as I always need to keep myself and my other client's safety and health in consideration. Don't worry- your home ***does not*** need to be spotless. However, I unfortunately ***can not*** handle bed bugs, mold, head lice, fleas, ticks, scorpians, spiders, etc. PLEASE, do not waste my gas money, nor my time, by requesting a meet and greet visit, if you have experienced any of these unfortunate situations (within the last 3 years, regardless of your current residence.) I appreciate your honesty more than you'll ever know. At the meet and greet, you may ask to view my fingerprint clearance card. I usually try to remember to have it with me. I do have a reliable vehicle. I have AAA, if I were to experience vehicle issues during your booking. I also understand how to use Uber, Lyft, the city bus and even the light rail. I would always find a way to get home to your fur child. I am highly trustworthy. I am also an incredible judge of character. As long as the pet parent and I feel good about one another at the meet and greet visit, I am confident we will have a successful booking. I do send your home address to my mother, before driving to your home. This way, if you end up being a not- so- great- hooman... well, you know how that goes. ✌️ I do bring pepper spray with me to my visits, so please do not be alarmed by this precaution I take. I love cats and dogs! I love chickens and bunnies, too! Got a Nemo fish? I. got. you. I love getting to know your temperamental cat's colorful personality... Or leaving them to rule the home, while never making direct eye contact- whatever works.. I know the fur friends need our time and most importantly, our love. I will carefully follow directions you leave for me in your home. I am a very clean and organized person and would treat your family member and your home, as my own- with the most respect and care possible. ❤️ Additional services offered, ask at your meet and greet. Extra services will be paid in cash by the pet owner. Money will be left for pet sitter on kitchen counter. Extra services may include: - FREE Daily walks (usually 10-60 minutes in length, depending on weather conditions.) - FREE dog poop pick up [during walks] & throw away poop in nearest dog poop trash bin. - FREE scooping of cat litter box. - Backyard/ Frontyard dog poop pick up & throw away $25/20 minutes of my time, [depends on weather conditions & my energy levels.] - FREE Mail & or package collection *I'm not rushing home to bring your boxes inside, but yay for you!! ✌️ - FREE watering of indoor/ outdoor plants, as long as this takes me less than 10 minutes per day! -FREE trash day bin transporting, from wherever you keep your trash bins, to the front curb of your home. - $25 "House key pick up appointment" (on any day other than meet and greet appointment) *must be paid at time of key pick up appointment. Please note- If you give me the house key the day of the meet and greet, no key pick up appointment needed!!! ✌️ ...If you can use a garage code or front door code, please provide that information to me the day prior/the day of your departure for your booking. You ***do not*** need to give me a key in addition to a door/garage code, unless you want to! I do not let people "hide" the house key, UNLESS you have a working camera, which monitors the location where the key is being hid. If your camera stops working and someone finds your key- that's on you. Another alternative is a house key lock box or even a garage opener works. Please consider giving a trusted person a spare key, in the event something happens to the original key. Tell me what to do if I somehow get locked out. It's never happened, yet! Schedule: Substitute Teacher (I have a flexible schedule. I can select 4 hour/half day teaching days, too!) I work full time in education (all kinds of experience with multi tasking and distributing my attention, evenly, among the babes!) - I have to *be at* work at 7 am until 3 pm, Monday through Friday - I do not work my education job on the weekends, meaning I have some extra time for the fur friends! *I am not home 24/7, but the occasional "I'm not leaving the house for 24 straight hours day" definitely happens. Just depends on energy levels and prior commitments.* - I also have most holidays off work from my education job, as I get vacation when my students do. This means that around busy holiday times when people often travel- I am typically off work from my main job and can be available to watch your fur babies! - **On that note- to clarify, I do not stay in the home 24/7 to watch your animal (even with "overnight" visits.) During an "overnight" booking- I do sleep in your home (I love pet cuddles, if allowed!) On work nights, I sleep (usually) from around 10 pm ish until about 5 am. A normal work day's schedule may look like the following: 5 am: wake up and take fur friend potty 5:15 am: feed and water 5:30 am: take fur friend potty for post meal bathroom use 5:45 am: I lock up and head to my teaching job 12pm ish: I send you a "morning summary" message & a video of your dog eating breakfast. 4 pm: I get home and take your fur friend potty 4:15: I feed and water 4:30 take fur friend potty 4:45 ish: I leave your home and go to the gym. Maybe I grab dinner to take to your home to eat...or maybe I go walk around Target for a bit to unwind! Perhaps I'm too tired to do any of that, find a pizza and stay in & snuggle your fur love all night. It really just depends on the day. ***please understand this is my -second- job. I take it seriously, but you are not paying me to stay in your home 24/7. There ~are~ some pet sitters that are able to do that, I am not. Please understand this ~before scheduling your complimentary meet and greet appointment ❤️ 9 pm ish: I usually get ready for bed with your fur love! 10 pm- midnight ish: I send you an "evening summary" message and a video of your fur love eating dinner! My weekends, look about the same as above referenced. (I do stay up late on Friday and Saturday nights.) During the weekend, I am often home much more than I would be during the work week. (It depends on the day. Some Saturdays I go hiking & out to dinner. Others, I Netflix binge and chill with your pup for 36 straight hours. ... I use common sense. If I was gone a lot during the day prior, I try to even it out and stay in more, the following day. Safety, trust & environment: I care for pets in the pet owners home, not my own home. I maintain good relationships with my clients and really do my best to make everyone happy!! I listen to your suggestions. I take notes. I ask clarifying questions when needed and I believe that clear and effective communication is required on both my end (and the pet owner's end,) in order to maintain a healthy pet and working relationship! I lock doors. I double check that the stove is turned off. I send pictures and videos of your animal, so you can let me know if you notice something I don't. I try my best to prevent any accidents from even being possible. I'm not a perfect pet sitter, but my reviews reflect that I take this job very seriously, because I do ❤️

About: Hi guys! So I’m originally from Phoenix and now live in Gilbert with my XL American Pitbull Terrier, Spanky. I’ve taught him to sit, wait for his food, paw, lay down, and roll over. I also went to a 6 week dog obedience school for him so I’m very comfortable dogs. I’d love to teach your dog new tricks and walk them so they will be more relaxed to be around. :) I am currently working part time and set my own schedule so my availability is very flexible to accommodate your needs. I’ll be able to work from 6AM-7PM everyday. I have a dog of my own so we can have them play together if you’d like. I have him crated for the majority of the time though. Also, I have a pronged collar of my own to make it easier to walk a bigger dog. I have fields in my apartment with shade to keep your pet entertained while I throw them a ball or have them go potty while you’re out.

About: With over a decade and a half of experience, I've cared for countless cats and dogs, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. Your beloved pet will be in capable and loving hands. My current job involves shifts of only 4 hours, which leaves me with ample time and energy to devote to your furry companions. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays, ensuring your pet receives consistent attention and fun! When caring for pets in their own homes, I prioritize maintaining their familiar routine and environment. I ensure their safety by being vigilant about doors and windows, and I provide consistent feeding, fresh water, and plenty of exercise and affection according to your specific instructions. Your home will be treated with the utmost respect, and your pet will receive dedicated and loving attention.
About: I took a course at ASU for dog behavior to better understand animals and their behavior. I’m able to train dogs with small commands within hours. I have my own goldendoodle and will treat your pet as my own family! I’m a full time student with open availability throughout the week to help others take care of their pets. My schedule is very flexible to fit your needs! I like to care for animals in their own environment as they are more comfortable in their own space. Taking them out of their environment and will strangers can be difficult for them to adjust.

About: Hi!! :) My name is Serena, I’m new on Rover and I’m very excited to meet some new furry faces! I’m the go to dog sitter for my best friend’s Husky & Shepard who is a tripod (3 legged king), so even though I’m new on the app I have a couple repeat clients! I’m HOME: Mondays,Tuesdays,Wednesdays,Thursdays. In OFFICE: Friday 7:30-4:30pm, Saturday 8am-5pm w/ 1 hour lunch breaks to check on your pet!
About: I’ve trained my own dogs all their tricks. I love to play with dogs and teach them new things, I have two French bulldogs and also two pit bulls so size doesn’t matter! Im currently working and my schedule varies but I can get anytime off and am still available! Weekends are always open for me as well. My dogs are kept on harnesses with leashes. They were fully potty trained but when they weren’t we took them out every hour. They get two walks a day, and two meals.

“We all love, Carolyn! My dog is our first born child. Knowing she was being well taken care of by someone who loves dogs as much as we do definitely put my mind at ease. With the daily photos and messages we received it sure made us be able to enjoy our time away. We will always choose Carolyn first since she is like a new member to our family.”

“Jemaury took real good care of my dog George. I sent him in and warned her that he was dirty because we'd been camping for a coupe of weeks. She offered to take him to the groomer and I came back from my trip to a squeaky clean dog. She's a very good communicator / quick to respond, and she would send me a few pics every time she took him for a walk or he did something cute. Highly recommend.”

“Stacy and her family were absolutely wonderful! They gave Chloe so much love and attention, making sure she had plenty of cuddles and playtime. This was Chloe's first time at a sitter and she came home the happy, active puppy she was when I dropped her off. Stacy communicated with me daily, and answered any question I had. I felt completely relaxed on vacation knowing Chloe was being well cared for.”

“Kenna and Devon are awesome! My pup felt comfortable with them and their dog Breeze right away. Received many pics and updates throughout the stay. Will definitely be using them again!”

“Jessica was paws-itively amazing! Our pup had the best time — daily walks, endless snuggles, and more love than he probably gets at home (we’re not jealous… just a little 😅). She kept us in the loop with adorable photos and videos, and we could tell he was living his best life. We came home to one happy, well-pampered pup. Highly recommend Jessica — she’s a total fur-baby whisperer! 🐶💛”
