About: I’ve grown up with cats and have worked with cats of all ages and behaviors. Most of my experience comes from working at a shelter, where I cared for and interacted with very young kittens, older cats, scared or shy and also rambunctious and playful. About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. About: Hi! My whole life has resolved around dogs and I couldn’t imagine a world without them! I grew up with a daushaund, 2 labs, and a cocker spaniel so I am comfortable with all shapes and sizes of dogs. About: Not only have I been dog sitting for the last 15 years, but I also have a lot of other experience with pet care! I have worked in a pet store as well as in veterinary offices when I used to live back in Indiana so I have learned a lot about caring for animals. My 2 cats and 2 rabbits also live in the home, but the layout of the house allows them to stay in the upstairs portion of the house and it is blocked off to allow them to be separated. About: I have always had multiple dogs in my home. My family has a love for rescuing dogs so we have taken in and fostered numerous dogs in the past. I cared for many dogs while in Tuscaloosa for college. I have since moved to Birmingham and become a NICU nurse! No matter what your baby needs, I’m here!! About: I’m 39 years old and there has been a pet in my life since I was 7. I’m an only child and my pets quickly became like siblings (we didn’t fight like them, promise). I became the primary caregiver for my mom’s two senior mini dachshunds a few years ago and was able to get them crate and pee-pad trained. One of them crossed the rainbow bridge sadly, but my other little old lady is doing well. I fall in love with every animal I see and I would love the chance to fall in love with yours. I’m currently working a full time second shift job (1pm-11pm) so I have the mornings completely open to check on your babies. I’m also a night owl and have no problem doing a nighttime check after work or begin an overnight stay. If you have a fenced yard, I will let them outside and let them do their business before tossing a ball or toy or running around with them to get the zoomies out. If no yard, then I will take them out on a leash for a walk then some playtime inside. Food and water will be checked and refilled; cuddles will be provided at will. :)

They sent me picture updates every single day if not twice a day! My dog seemed to not want to leave their house and I could tell that he was very happy and very very well taken care of. “If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”
