About: I’ve had plenty of dogs my entire life as well as taken care of friends and families dogs. Overnight, check ins or walking. I love walking dogs especially and playing with all animals. I will provide a safe, caring, and loving environment for your pets so you’re worry free while away from them! Currently between jobs and am a full time online college student. So I am pretty flexible!! If something doesn’t work i’ll just make that clear but I do not have many scheduled things in my day to day. I don’t mind doing feeding, walking, play time! Also don’t mind light clean up if they make a mess while you are gone. My dogs are kind of crazy so I understand messes happen! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.
About: I’ve been around horses all my life. I’ve also have had cats and dogs for the last 30 years. I’ve also helped with rescues to find homes for cats and dogs. I try to be flexible on scheduling. I can walk, come in let animals out, feed animals, ect. I can also give daily updates on how your pets are doing. I’ve helped take care of puppies and kittens as well. I have 3 dogs and 5 cats at home. My horse passed away in 2019. I’ve had a few cats over the last few years that have had to be put down due to health complications. The animals safety and health is highly important to me. They’ll get excellent care. I accommodate to what the owners would like. I have open availability! I will mark out any days on the app that I may be out of town or unavailable to do a service! I’d love to be able to help take care of your beloved pets! I have a fenced yard. Can turn the dogs out separately. Can also come to your house and walk. Crate if necessary. Lots of play time
“Ananda did an amazing job with my little pack! Including my blind, senior girl who needs extra TLC. I never worried about them, as she would check in and send pictures—-which was great as I was out of the country. We will definitely have Ananda visit again on my next trip away from my furkids!”

“Juliann was incredible! She consistently updated me on Murphy with photos and videos. She cleaned up messes that Murphy made in addition to keeping my house clean. She was not hesitant to ask any questions which gave me peace of mind that she wanted to give the best care she could to Murphy. She was accommodating to changes and responded fast. I am so appreciative Murphy received such good care while I was gone. Thank you Juliann!”

About: I have taken care of dogs before and I’m currently a owner my self, I will love to take care of other dogs my self. I am currently working doing delivery on Instacart, and I have plenty of time to take care of dogs and walk them and take them to the dog park. I have a very good boy, and there’s a big dog park that can take your baby to have the best time ever, and if it is needed I can crate ur baby

“Gabriel was a great pet sitter for my little guy! On time, left my place clean and always communicated! He will take great care of any animal. I’ll definitely be booking him again!”

“Liza was great! Super flexible and great communication. My dogs got into a scuffle (no fault of Liza’s whatsoever!) and she handled it great, communicated with me immediately and kept me up to date. My farm and dogs are not the easiest to handle and I was very happy with how Liza managed them all and was incredibly respectful of my home”

“This was our first time with Rover, and I could not have asked for a better sitter for our dogs and house. Rochelle made a real and true bond with our two dogs. She made a personal connection with our pups. I want to emphasize that she really cared. Rochelle sent us daily pictures and videos that brought so many smiles to our faces while we were away. Her care took away our separation anxieties. This allowed to relax and enjoy our trip rather worry about how things were at home. If I could give Rochelle more than 5 stars, I would do that.”

About: My name is Mallorie. I'm a mom. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends. I have a Alaskan Malamute. Her name is Carly Rae. I've also adopted five stray cats. They showed up on my door step, and since then I've been taking care of them. Some of my hobbies are, hiking, camping, and swimming. My dog loves hiking with me. I'm excited to get to know your pet and care for them! 🐕 Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. An act as simple as refilling their food bowl at the same time every day is enough to make them feel comfortable in their living space. Proper pet care includes providing a safe and comfortable area. Frequency with letting out to use the bathroom. Making sure that your pet gets regular exercise, such as walks and play time.
“Ashleigh was such a good pet sitter! She took car of my dog, Molly and my iguana, Fernando for the holidays and because she’s a vet tech I knew if anything went wrong she would be able to help my babies. She was punctual and sent pictures every time she was at my house which I loved because we worry about them when we’re gone. Her prices are amazing and we recommend her for all your pet sitting needs! We will definitely be using her again, thank you for taking such good care of them!”

“Sophia was fantastic! She watched our elderly Yorkie and high energy cattle dog for a few days, and both dogs loved her! She sent us pictures and updates, and left the house spotless. We will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I worked at an animal hospital for 5 years out of high school. I just love animals overall. They’re family so they should be treated as such. I work from home on my on business so my time is very flexible. I can usually make arrangements pretty quickly if anything should come up. I have a big living area, and a 1 year old poodle girl who loves to play. If your pup needs it, I also have a family sized crate. Plenty of comfortable blankets and toys all around. For potty time we can either go outdoor or indoors on puppy pads.
“Charlotte took great care of my dog Cher and left the house super clean! She was super patient and understanding of Cher’s leash reactivity which made me feel more confident leaving. She also sent me tons of photos which was so nice because I was missing Cher a lot! Looking forward to hopefully having her stay again sometime. Thanks Charlotte!!!”

No pet too big or too small! I love them all :) I am currently working part time 2-4 days a week so I will have a lot of time to care for your pets! On my off days I’m available any time, especially day time. I can meet your pet care needs! At home we have an open field but also a fenced in area and two small dogs which can play or be separate. I can follow your schedule as far as potty and walks and am able to walk long distances and play! I know some kiddos can be picky eaters like mine so I will happily embrace your pets quirks! No request is too strange and I will not have any problem respecting you or your pets routine.

“Robin was very professional, friendly, and fantastic with our two dogs. She sent pics of our dogs over the entire weekend she was caring for them. She also left notes about each time she was over and took them out or fed them, which we really appreciated. I recommend Robin for everyone looking for great at home care and will be booking with her again in in the future!”

FAQs for House Sitting - Upper Zion
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 741 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Upper Zion. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Upper Zion walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Upper Zion maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Upper Zion choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
