About: Hi! My name is Kavita and am a 3rd year law student at Washington University School of Law here in St. Louis! I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid and was lucky to grow up around them. I have a dog of my own (a small Havanese toy poodle named Mildred), and I’m experienced in taking care of dogs of all ages! You can rest easy knowing your pet will be in loving, capable hands. I’ll treat them like my own, with plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles. I’m always happy to send photo updates so you feel connected while you’re away. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I know how to keep them safe, happy, and relaxed. Plus, my building has a secure dog park—perfect for fun, exercise, and fresh air! I’m home most days of the week, live right by Forest Park and go on numerous daily walks and runs. I’m happy to flex my walks around the doggo’s needs! I have a clean and safe apartment with plenty of natural light. My building has a massive dog park that is secure and clean as well. My dog and I go down there all the time to play, get fresh air and socialize with other dogs in our building!

“Chandra was great with my puppy and was very accommodating despite the fact that my booking was made with short notice. She gave frequent updates and was quick to respond to this worried puppy mama during my first time away. I felt much better knowing Valentine was in Chandra's care. Thank you!!!”

“Cecille made an otherwise challenging process so effortless by being available with very little notice and by being communicative and flexible in making arrangements. Throughout the process, she was willing to go above and beyond my expectations to make sure my fur child was cared for, and in doing so, provided such valuable peace of mind. Cecille, thank you so much for your time and kindness!”

About: I have spent two decades pet sitting cats and dogs. In particular, I've given medications (including insulin, pills and liquids) and have a lot of experience with senior pets. Overall, I just want your pet to feel safe and loved. I work part time so that I have time to dedicate to pet sitting. I make sure that your pet is my priority when they're under my care. Each situation is unique and I learn what makes your pet feel safest and most secure. I learn their routines and make sure to follow instructions. That way the transition is easiest for them.

“Allison was our first cat sitter to also stay in our home, and we are so happy we found her! From the moment we submitted our request in Rover, Allison was terrific in her communication and warmth. She immediately offered to come meet us before we completed our booking, and this gave me comfort given I’ve never had a house sitter before. Our cat really needs human interaction and love, and Allison definitely provided that and more. We returned home to a very happy boy and a very organized place - maybe more organized than when we left! We will definitely book Allison again for our next trip.”

About: My whole life, I've provided care and love to a series of five lovable golden retrievers and numerous other dogs. I've promoted their health through frequent walks and exercise, given comfort to them through play and cuddles, and have paid the utmost attention to their needs. I taught one of my family's current goldens to obey commands when he was a puppy and helped the other to overcome his fear of swimming through gentle encouragement and coaxing. I will provide all this experience to ensure your dogs enjoy their time! I'm currently a PhD student at WashU and so have the majority of my availability in the evenings and weekends. Weekends are best, especially considering the rigors of the school year. My philosophy with pet care is to be gentle but fair. I will go along with the pet's needs for the majority of the time and encourage their development through correction of their behaviors, when necessary. This correction will be done through verbal warnings just strong enough to get the message across, without being overly hostile.

“Leah and her sister made a great team taking care of my pup! He was so calm and happy when I came back. I was really nervous to leave him, but they put me at ease with their capable caring hands. They spent plenty of time with him and communicated with me late at night and in the morning too. It gave me so much confidence that I actually can spend a weekend away from him if I need to!”

About: I have spent time around dogs, big and small, my whole life! I am particularly well-versed in big dogs over 100 pounds as I have been taking care of two Saint Bernards for the last few years. Also, I am comfortable with all levels of training! I am currently working a part-time job in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, so I have plenty of time to care for your furry friends. During the week, I am free until 3pm, and I am very flexible on the weekends! Although I do not offer in-home services, I will always treat your pets and home as if it were my own! I pride myself in filled water bowls and happy animals! I will help keep you animals safe and your home clean!

“Alex cared for my girls as if they were her own! She communicated how they were and sent updates of my girls. 10/10 recommend and will be using her for in the future.”

“We ended up hiring Olivia at the last minute to watch our Australian Cattle Dog and three cats for the weekend. She was awesome! She kept in touch while we were gone, made sure everyone was taken care of, and left the house just how we left it. I even told her not to worry about the litter boxes, but she did them anyway. Little things like that say a lot. We’d definitely bring her back next time we need someone and highly recommend her!”
