Casey was pawsome! She sent pictures of the dogs every time she came to walk them. She even brought dog petters with her. Our dogs were happy, walked and fed on the schedule we laid out. Very happy with the service ?‍?

About: I've grown up with dogs and have years of pet sitting experience in both my home and clients' homes. I also have 2 of my own who are part of my everyday life...spoiled, loved and always by my side. Caring for dogs comes naturally to me. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or playtime, I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and never alone. I enjoy getting down on their level, playing, and making walks something they truly look forward to. I have a flexible schedule and can spend extended time with your pet if needed. If you'd like someone to stay during the day while you're at work, I'm happy to bring my laptop and keep your dog company, offering attention, breaks, and playtime throughout the day. If you're looking for someone dependable who will treat your dog like family, I'd love to help. I have a flexible, remote work schedule, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention: * Monday-Thursday: Available early mornings until 11am, and again from 3:30pm into the evening. *Friday & Saturday: Open availability * Sunday: Available starting at 11am through the evening Because I work remotely, I'm also happy to stay longer during the day if your pet needs extra company. I can bring my laptop and be there beyond a standard drop-in. I love getting outside for longer walks (3-4 miles) but I'm just as happy to do shorter walks to help your pup burn off some energy. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed at all times. Before our first visit, I like to learn about any triggers, behaviors, or how they do with other dogs so I can tailor care to keep them calm and comfortable. I also check with you before giving treats and make sure I'm aware of any allergies or dietary restrictions. Most visits will take place in your home for your pet's comfort. However, if you ever prefer occasional care at my home, I have a fenced-in backyard and a Jeep for safe transport. You can always feel confident knowing your pet will be cared for with consistency, attention, and genuine love every time I'm with them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 3 years now. I can do various things including walking and bathing almost any dog. Taking care of dogs is my job and I love it! My work schedule is pretty flexible so I am able to do walks/drop ins pretty frequently throughout any day of the week. My best times would be before 12 and after 7 but I can typically do times in between as well with enough notice I would care for your pet in any way necessary by following any instructions you can give me. With my experience, I know how to keep dogs safe and happy!

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I’ve grown up with — and cared for — pets of all shapes and sizes, from dogs and cats to fish, birds, horses, rodents, and even reptiles. No matter who your furry (or scaly!) family member is, I’m excited to give them the same love and attention I give my own. Pet care is already a natural part of my day. I take care of my cat every morning and evening—making sure she has fresh water, the right amount of food, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime. Since I’m already in a daily rhythm of caring for pets, adding walks or drop-ins fits easily and naturally into my routine. At home, my kitten is always the first one to greet me at the door, so I make sure she gets attention and reassurance right away. I keep her routine consistent—fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and lots of playtime and affection. When caring for a client’s pets, I’m very mindful of their established routines. I follow feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions exactly as given. I want every pet to feel comfortable and secure, so I do my best to maintain the rhythm they’re used to. Whether it’s my home or yours, my priority is making sure pets feel safe, understood, and well cared for.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals—I truly love being around them and caring for their unique needs. I treat every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I’m attentive to routines, patient with puppies, and gentle with senior pets, so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands. I have a very flexible routine as I am currently enrolled in online classes and work for myself. I am able to move around my schooling and work to whenever fits. When caring for pets, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Since I come to your home or take your pets out for walks and playtime, I make sure they stay in a familiar, low-stress environment. I follow your routines closely—whether that’s feeding, play, or cuddle time—so your pets feel secure and loved while you’re away. I also pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings to ensure they’re always safe and happy.

About: I’ve been in a constant home of taking care of animals from a young age. I’ve trained over 6 dogs for basic training and have homed three cats. I’m versatile when it comes to new puppies as well as senior dogs. I’m a part time student so I’m mostly free in the evenings on weekdays and the weekends. For stop-bys and walks, I’m also free anytime before 9 am. In my own home I’ve got a lot of land for my own pets to roam within our land boundaries. Walking is a big part of giving pets time for exercise as well as calmer inside moments along with breakfast and dinner. Taking animals on rides to introduce them to different aspects of our world (exposure- therapy).

About: I worked for an Animal Hospital for 4 years and am familiar with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have dealt with some of the happiest and most anxious dogs and cats so I am pretty comfortable with anything. Will also give medication if your pet requires it. I have 2 dogs of my own who are very high energy, so I am used to that as well. I also deal with puppies and elderly dogs everyday so age is no issue. I don't mind any breeds! Small caged animals, fish, or some outside animals are no problem either. I hope you will choose me to check on your babies while you may be working or out of town for a while! Thank you so much guys! It will definitely depend on day and time but I am pretty flexible! I don't work quite as much as I used to but I do still work full time. I go by and do what I am told by the pet owner to keep the babies in routine as much as possible so they do not become stressed but with that being said I also am not able to stay all day or neccesarily the exact times you might due to also having a work schedule to abide by.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in preschool. My family has always had lots of pets throughout the house all through my childhood! I have lots of experience in giving baths, medicine, lots of cuddles and care! I will be sending plenty of pictures so you can see what your pet is up to at all times! I am currently working for myself while also working from home. This gives me all the time in the world to be just as attentive as you would be to your fur baby! I currently live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of grassy areas for potty breaks and open space for walks/jogs. My house is large enough to keep small dogs and larger dogs separated to ensure there are no accidents.

About: I have pet/farm sat for over 15 years! I started at a very young age with dog walking/drop ins. Then in my teenage years I stayed at people’s houses to care for their animals while away. I have watched farms, chickens, horses, pigs, goats, ducks and all! My current pet total is 2 huskies (so I can handle crazy 😂) 2 cats, and approximately 25 chickens! I’m currently a SAHM, but I work part time with a local Fire/EMS agency. So I have a bunch of free time to love your babies! I’m very go with the flow! Whatever your animals are used to is what I do. I want to them to be as comfortable and happy as possible!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 363 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Union Hill. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Union Hill. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Union Hill.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Union Hill. On Rover:

  • 79% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
