About: I've grown up with dogs and have years of pet sitting experience in both my home and clients' homes. I also have 2 of my own who are part of my everyday life...spoiled, loved and always by my side. Caring for dogs comes naturally to me. I have a flexible, remote work schedule, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention: * Monday-Thursday: Available early mornings until 11am, and again from 3:30pm into the evening. *Friday & Saturday: Open availability * Sunday: Available starting at 11am through the evening Because I work remotely, I'm also happy to stay longer during the day if your pet needs extra company. I can bring my laptop and be there beyond a standard drop-in. I love getting outside for longer walks (3-4 miles) but I'm just as happy to do shorter walks to help your pup burn off some energy. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed at all times. Before our first visit, I like to learn about any triggers, behaviors, or how they do with other dogs so I can tailor care to keep them calm and comfortable. I also check with you before giving treats and make sure I'm aware of any allergies or dietary restrictions. Most visits will take place in your home for your pet's comfort. However, if you ever prefer occasional care at my home, I have a fenced-in backyard and a Jeep for safe transport. You can always feel confident knowing your pet will be cared for with consistency, attention, and genuine love every time I'm with them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 3 years now. I can do various things including walking and bathing almost any dog. Taking care of dogs is my job and I love it! My work schedule is pretty flexible so I am able to do walks/drop ins pretty frequently throughout any day of the week. My best times would be before 12 and after 7 but I can typically do times in between as well with enough notice I would care for your pet in any way necessary by following any instructions you can give me. With my experience, I know how to keep dogs safe and happy!

About: Hello! I have been dog sitting on Rover for a few years now and I absolutely love it. Some facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience in dog sitting overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. I’m happy to take your dog for walks and potty breaks throughout the day, and most of all give your dog lots of love, cuddles and good company! About: I’ve had my own dog for two years. I got him as a puppy. I’m still learning some things but would love to care for your pet This will be my job until I finish college. I am just trying to make some extra money to purchase books and things for school. I have a fenced in place at my house where your animal with be tired out haha. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 4 years old. I have had pets of my own, cared for neighbors pets, and pet sitting as well. I am currently not working and am self employed part time, so I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your dog and/or cat! I have a leash tied to our porch rails for any dogs that I watch, or go outside with them on the leash to make sure they are safe. They are safe and comfortable in the house with lots of spaces to relax and play in, 4 bedrooms total.

About: I’ve been in a constant home of taking care of animals from a young age. I’ve trained over 6 dogs for basic training and have homed three cats. I’m versatile when it comes to new puppies as well as senior dogs. I’m a part time student so I’m mostly free in the evenings on weekdays and the weekends. For stop-bys and walks, I’m also free anytime before 9 am. In my own home I’ve got a lot of land for my own pets to roam within our land boundaries. Walking is a big part of giving pets time for exercise as well as calmer inside moments along with breakfast and dinner. Taking animals on rides to introduce them to different aspects of our world (exposure- therapy).

About: I have two small dogs who are my world. I love all types of pets, but can make room in my schedule and heart to take care of your dogs and cats. I will board dogs, but can only stop in and check on your cats. I am currently retired and only work some part-time jobs. I am pretty flexible and will work with families to take care of your precious pets. I have a large farm and home and will crate your dogs as needed. They will love the open space for walks and play. I will keep all pets separated for a more stress-free experience.

About: I have been working at an animal hospital for 12 years as a veterinary technician and am currently in my second year of veterinary school just taking the term off for maternity leave! I am confident and comfortable with any species and level of care your pet(s) may need! I am out on a maternity leave so am currently able to have a very open and flexible schedule for whatever routine you may want or need! Pets in my home would be on a case by case basis seeing as I have 3 kitties and a senior dog! I am open to the idea of boarding some dogs depending on how they are with other pets and house training! At a clients house I will the routine however instructed and make sure they get some actual attention time!

About: I'm Kelsie! I live in Madison Heights with 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 husband. I work in marketing from my home during the day, and I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to adjust to your schedule as needed. I also bartend on the weekends and occasional weeknight, but I can usually work around that schedule with enough notice. I've had animals my entire life, and growing up I was the primary caregiver for all the family pets from a young age. I have experience raising cats, dogs, and birds. I love pure breeds and support responsible breeding, but I personally love to rescue dogs. My husband and I have made a lot of progress with our rescues, building confidence and obedience training. They've developed good habits through our work and are well socialized with dogs of all sizes, cats, and children (although we don't have children ourselves.) We use primarily positive reinforcement for training, never more than a stern "no" in response to negative behavior. The closest thing to "punishment" that we practice is gently isolating the dog long enough to calm him down if he gets too riled up and stops listening. I am not a trained professional, but if you have any behavioral issues you would like to work on I would be happy to help based on my own experiences! I occasionally ask my husband to accompany me on visits for safety or an extra hand, especially if it's a new client or multiple dogs. I will always let you know if that's the case, and if you prefer not to let him in your home/around your pets we will adjust accordingly. Thank you for your time, I look forward to working with you! About: Happy Hearts Pet Sitting gives dogs a wonderful park-like experience and loving environment. We have over 150 acres of beautiful rolling hills conveniently located between Lynchburg and Charlottesville. During the visit, we will take your dog for relaxing on-leash walks. When they are indoors, they will have access to a large, comfortable farmhouse with loving people to keep them company. We will never let your dog off the leash outside and will always give them the highest level of supervision. I have been watching dogs for conscientious pet owners for over 12 years, and I have had a dog for many years. Since the dogs have the run of the house and we live on a farm with lots of outdoor activity, we require that dogs are treated with flea and tick medicine before arrival. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in preschool. My family has always had lots of pets throughout the house all through my childhood! I have lots of experience in giving baths, medicine, lots of cuddles and care! I will be sending plenty of pictures so you can see what your pet is up to at all times! About: I worked for an Animal Hospital for 4 years and am familiar with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have dealt with some of the happiest and most anxious dogs and cats so I am pretty comfortable with anything. Will also give medication if your pet requires it. I have 2 dogs of my own who are very high energy, so I am used to that as well. I also deal with puppies and elderly dogs everyday so age is no issue. I don't mind any breeds! Small caged animals, fish, or some outside animals are no problem either. I hope you will choose me to check on your babies while you may be working or out of town for a while! I go by and do what I am told by the pet owner to keep the babies in routine as much as possible so they do not become stressed but with that being said I also am not able to stay all day or neccesarily the exact times you might due to also having a work schedule to abide by.
