About: I have cared for my family's pets my entire life. I worked in the pet care dept. at the Lynchburg Humane Society for about a year until it got in the way of school. I have been cat and dog sitting for people around my neighborhood for the past five years or so. My family and I have also been fostering mama dogs with litters of puppies as well as bottle baby puppies and kittens from the Lynchburg Humane Society for the past 4 years I am a senior in college. I am currently taking two online classes so my schedule is very flexible. Next semester I will be taking in person classes so my schedule will be more limited starting Jan. 14, 2027. We have two cats and two dogs at my house that I help take care of. I have experience caring for several of my neighbor's cats and dogs. I am able to adapt my care to the needs of your critters. I also have experience caring for cats and dogs with medical conditions of varying severity from my time at the Lynchburg Humane Society and fostering.
“Heather always does a great job with our pup! Due to my ongoing changing schedule, I often reach out to her the night before I am in need of her service. She remains flexible with times and is great with communication!”

“Arabella was fantastic with my fur babies. Super reliable, communicated well, and really appreciated how affectionate she was to all of my fur babies. Definitely recommend.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life and have my own dog who I treat like my child 🐶 She is the most important thing in my life! I have lots of experience caring for friends and neighbors animals - all different breeds, sizes, even animals with significant medical conditions. 🐾 With having my summers off, my schedule is flexible to come care for your pet whenever needed. Whether it’s early morning walks or evening strolls, I’m available 💕 I follow their routine closely to ensure comfort.I maintain feeding schedules, provide fresh water, offer regular walks or playtime, and give lots of love and attention. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and relaxed while you're away.
“Jennifer was quick to respond and was able to do a meet & greet within a few days. She has been thorough and knowledgeable & sent pictures during her visit. I’m very thankful to have been connected with her! I would highly recommend her to care for your pups 🙂”
About: I worked for an Animal Hospital for 4 years and am familiar with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have dealt with some of the happiest and most anxious dogs and cats so I am pretty comfortable with anything. Will also give medication if your pet requires it. I have 2 dogs of my own who are very high energy, so I am used to that as well. I also deal with puppies and elderly dogs everyday so age is no issue. I don't mind any breeds! Small caged animals, fish, or some outside animals are no problem either. I hope you will choose me to check on your babies while you may be working or out of town for a while! Thank you so much guys! It will definitely depend on day and time but I am pretty flexible! I don't work quite as much as I used to but I do still work full time. I go by and do what I am told by the pet owner to keep the babies in routine as much as possible so they do not become stressed but with that being said I also am not able to stay all day or neccesarily the exact times you might due to also having a work schedule to abide by.
About: I have two small dogs who are my world. I love all types of pets, and I can make room in my schedule and heart to care for your dogs and cats. I will board your dogs or cats, or I can make daily check-ins at your home. I am currently retired and only work some part-time jobs. I am pretty flexible and will work with families to take care of your precious pets. I have a large farm and home and will crate your dogs as needed. They will love the open space for walks and play. I will keep all pets separated for a more stress-free experience.
About: I don’t just care for your pets, I strive to make them see me as part of the family! Also love to clean, so you know you will return to your house with it being just as clean as you left it. Ample training with young pups as well as caring for older animals. I work a job where I make my own hours, so I can fit whatever requirements into my schedule. No need to worry about long stretches without your loved one being checked on! Multiple walks are given each day (depending on their needs), with the option to run with them if they are high-energy dogs. All for the cuddles and playing inside for those that need either or both instead!

About: I’m 47 and have dogs and cats my whole life. We have 4 generations of veterinarians in our family (although I’m not one.) Pets are part of our families and I look forward to helping take care of yours! I’ve just moved to Lynchburg and am looking forward to dog walking, cat caring and just dropping into help check on your fur babies. I will follow your instructions and make sure your pet is well cared for according to your expectations and instructions every time. Your animals will receive great care from me. 🦮🐈🦮🐈🦮🐈
About: Very patient with animals and people! I’ll gladly walk and play with your dog, spend time with your cat, and will make sure that your furry baby is well taken care of and is in the best of hands! I have years of experience with both cats and dogs, and I currently have a cat. I adopted my cat (Bunny) at the Lynchburg Humane Society last year, and she will turn 11 on April 30th. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I will be kind and courteous to everyone! Ask me about my pet portraits! I love drawing and have a blast capturing the essence of your furry/feathered/scaley friends! My availability is fairly flexible, but I require a week’s notice for house-sitting (I need time to prepare). If I live within 15 miles of your home, I will only do drop-in visits. I will need at least 2-3 days notice for dog walking and drop-in visits. I prefer to only do drop-ins, as I have my own animals to care for multiple times a day. **NOTICE: THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL PET FEE FOR MY SERVICES, I WILL NOT ACCEPT STAYS IF YOU DROP ADDITIONAL ANIMALS ON ME WITHOUT CHARGE.** I leave everything where I found it and I am very respectful of my clients’ homes. I treat it like I would want someone to treat my home when I am away. I communicate about anything that stands out to me, and make sure to be kind and courteous. I like to send my clients picture and video updates of their pets while they’re away!

We would love to find him some new friends by watching your cute fur babies too! In my house, someone is always home, so your pet would never be alone! With our family, it's always a fun day!!!" I work for myself so my schedule is never an issue! Whatever may be needed, I will make happen. However, written instructions are always helpful! I don't have a fenced yard. However I do have a runner line that your pets can be hooked to outside so they can play as much as they want to without worry!!
