“We cannot praise Joshua and Julie enough! They send lots of wonderful pictures and updates through and our dogs were so happy with them (don’t think they wanted to leave!) we will use them any time we go away; peace of mind and happy dogs”

“Victoria was absolutely lovely! Our happy little puppy Dain had a great time, and came back happily exhausted. Victoria kept him very busy, running around the garden and playing with the other dog. She was lovely to meet in person, very understanding and helpful. 10/10!”

“Helen was fab with my dog Dora and I didn’t have to worry about her at all while we were away. We got regular updates with photos and Dora was kept busy and happy. Dora is on a couple of medications and these were all administered with no problem. Would definitely book again and highly recommend.”

“Moose absolutely loved staying with Laura and Otto, he was very well looked after and had a great time playing, going on walks and cuddling! Received lots of wonderful videos of how happy he was all weekend. Couldn’t recommend Laura more!”

“Jo and buddy were amazing from the first meeting I knew that my dog louie would be more than fine as they were so kind and welcoming. I did not have one worry leaving him with Jo, my only thought was that he would not want to come home after! Louie had the best holiday with Jo and buddy and I can't thank them enough. Would 100% recommend Jo to anyone as it was home from home for my dog Louie ( actually better than being at home I think!) Thanks again you really did put our minds at rest from the first meeting and kept us updated throughout his stay. Louie misses you both already:)”

“I could tell Izzy had a wonderful time with Rachel as she returned a happy dog and, I am ashamed to say, much cleaner and better groomed than when we left her! Thank you for looking after her so well and for sending the pictures and videos. If I have to go away again I will certainly hope Rachel can take her again.”

About: I have a beautiful Labradoodle named Otto and have been caring for dogs since I was young. I work from home Wednesday through Friday, and with a spacious, secure garden, my home is the perfect environment for pets to feel comfortable and cared for. I work from home Wednesday to Friday and manage my own schedule, which allows me to be highly flexible and available to help whenever needed. I have a beautiful big garden that’s safe and secure which is perfect for lots of time in the garden. I also have a tiled porch, which is great for the hotter days.
“Gary had a lovely time with Bronte, Sam and Teo. Would definitely recommend. We had lots of pictures and updates and they made us very comfortable leaving him knowing he would be well looked after.”

“Fraser and his wife were absolutely lovely and Magnus liked them from the first meeting. We felt confident we were leaving our beloved boy in good hands. We got multiple photo updates and Magnus seemed to be having a great time. When we picked him up we heard even more good stories about their time together. You couldn't find a nicer couple to entrust your dog or cat to.”

“If there was a higher rating then Macy would definitely deserve it. Her and her whole family welcomed Jax into their home and were totally amazing. Macy kept us updated regularly with messages and videos. Jax is a young large Doberman with ongoing training for recall and reactivity to other dogs, ao not an easy boy to look after, but Macy went above and beyond expectations Thanks”

“Jenny was absolutely amazing, kept us updated everyday throughout Poppy's stay with lots of photos and messages of Poppy enjoying herself which made our anxiety about leaving her disappear. 10/10 would book again.”

“This was our first time using Rover as our usual house sitter was not available and was unsure whether this way would be suitable or not. The first person we saw on here was Barbara who instantly felt would be a good match for our little Bertie and had high hopes. When Barbara invited us to come and meet her any hesitancy instantly disappeared and definitely had no concerns about leaving him. You just know when someone is a doggy person or not and could just sense any dog left in Barbara’s care would certainly be well looked after. When collecting him yesterday, I felt he enjoyed himself that much that he didn’t want to leave. I am so happy that Bertie has had a great stay and been very well looked after and have no doubts at all that Barbara is the perfect person to look after our Bertie. Just looking at dates when he can stay again and the only downside to all these good reviews is she will get booked up even quicker!”

About: I have worked in a boarding and rescue kennels for the last five years, where I have been responsible for administering medication, working with nervous and dogs with more behavioural challenges. I have fostered dogs and cats with physical disabilities, as well as young animals that should not be in a kennel environment. I have made sure hundreds of dogs needs have been met during their stay at the kennels. I have also had experience dog sitting over a number of years for family and friends, living in their houses and maintaining the property as well as ensuring their animals get the best possible care. Since I was a young child and have always absolutely adored all my pets and every animal. I have grown up near/on a farm in the West Country so no stranger to all kinds of animals. I have looked after two large dogs (Dalmatian and German shepherd) whilst my family have been away for weeks at a time, walking both at the same time and making sure they are well loved and cuddled. I thoroughly enjoy long walks and don’t mind a bit of rain or mud- as long as the dogs enjoy themselves and burn off lots of energy! I feel I have a calming presence and I do not mind the dogs that need that extra time and patience for me to trust them. Everything will be done with the dog in mind and on the dogs terms, and I truly believe that every dog should be treated and respected as an individual with individual wants and needs. I am currently still working at the kennels and cattery, so I am happy to cater on my days off, evenings or every other weekend. I have a dog and a cat of my own to care for, as well as a toddler! I have a lovely little rescue dog that is my shadow. He’s been with me for 3 years and he’s fully dog, cat, human and baby tested! However, I understand not all dogs enjoy other dogs company. Therefore I would be happy to come to your dogs environment and be with your animals there where they feel safe and relaxed. I have DBS checks and various different testimonials if needed.
“We all took to Freya straightaway. She’s just lovely with both humans and dogs. Sid was very comfortable with her and Lottie her cute Pomeranian. He came back a very happy but tired dog. Sid can pull at the start of a walk when he's very excited but Freya took this in her stride and she spoiled him rotten. We will definitely be asking Freya again.”

“I couldn’t have asked for more from Jan and Ed. They were brilliant with our anxious lab and when I collected her, I could tell she had had a fab time and was totally at ease in their company. I received lots of updates and was able to relax knowing she was happy. I am so pleased to have found them!”

“A huge thank you to Talita, Neil and Mala :-) for their exceptional care of Rex! They gave him plenty of walks and so much loving attention. Throughout his stay, they kept us updated daily with videos, pictures and messages, which was so reassuring. When we picked Rex up, his happy and relaxed demeanour made it clear he’d had a fantastic time. I highly recommend Talita and Neil and will definitely book with them again!”

“Oscar's great 😻. We will definitely book with him again. Not only did we come home to a happy Storm, enjoy daily pictures and anecdotes, Oscar worked an extra day (at short notice) when we were stranded in Schiphol overnight. His guidance through the process, we're first time users of the site, was patient and thorough. Thank you”

“Lucy was flawless! She took care of our cat as if it was one of her own, and she kept us updated with pictures and videos every time she came around, she also offered extra service which we really, really appreciated, and I’m sure Sparky did as well, she is outstanding in her work, and we strongly recommend her!”

“Kaitlin has been great, we received regular updates about how the cats were getting on during her daily visits. She kindly disposed of some unwanted gifts/offerings they left, and neither seem too annoyed with us that we went away!”

About: My love for animals started when I was a kid, growing up in a home filled with pets. I learned how to care for and connect with all kinds of creatures early on, from dogs and birds to, of course, cats. Having that variety of pets taught me how to read animal body language and understand their unique personalities. Today, I am a proud "cat mum" to my own fur-baby. Whether your kitty is a social butterfly who loves to play or a shy sweetheart who prefers to watch from a distance, I promise to treat them with the same patience, love, and respect I give my own. I can't wait to meet your furry family members!

“Angela always takes such good care of our 2 old girls. They really love her and we get regular updates from her with pictures. She spends time in the house and gives our cats some outdoor time, which I know theley both appreciate. We've been using Angela for at least 4 years now, and never had any issues, so I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Katie has been looking after Rambo for the second time and all went smooth, always keeping me updated with foros of Rambo and he seamed very happy too ☺️ thank you for looking after Rambo”

“We booked Lucy to come feed our cat while we were away for a night at a family wedding. We had a meet and greet the day before and got a really nice vibe from her and could tell she was an animal lover, and our cat Rocky also went straight to her for some fuss. We have got back this morning and Rocky was happily curled up on the sofa snoozing. We got a notification when Lucy had arrived and left along with feedback on how Rocky was on the visit and how much he ate, and some lovely photos 😊 we will definitely be using her again in the future”

“Julie was great looking after the cats, lots of photos and a great report each day. You can really tell she cares for the animals she is looking after. We would 100% book her again.”

“Thank you Katie for the wonderful care you gave my cat. He needed eye drops which can be a stressful task and you did it effortlessly. You also provided dedicated out of hours care and medication which ensured he had the recommended doses each day for a very painful eye ulcer. When he was hospitalised you sent lovely pictures of him and reassuring updates that he was settled and eating well. Thank you once again for all your excellent care.”

We especially appreciated getting a good set of photos so we could see the cats having a great time with Rose!”

“Molly looked after my 2 cats over Christmas, she was fab. Good communication and regular updates on how they were doing. They both seemed comfortable with her, which doesn’t happen often as they can be very shy with new people. Would recommend Molly to anyone and happily would use her again!”

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals of all sizes, so being around animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve had multiple pets growing up and am very comfortable with different temperaments, routines, and needs. I’ve also pet sat for friends and family on many occasions, looking after dogs and other animals in their homes and making sure they are well cared for and settled. I’m confident, calm, and tend to be the first person to approach and connect with an animal, even if they are shy or unsure. My focus is always on building trust, keeping routines consistent, and making sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits really well into my daily routine as I currently work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility and time throughout the day. I’m available for walks during the day, as well as drop-ins, and I can offer boarding any day of the week. Having a flexible schedule means I can give dogs consistent attention, regular exercise, and company throughout the day. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so the pet feels safe and settled. I take time to understand their feeding, walking, and comfort needs, and always prioritise calm, attentive care. I’m very respectful of others homes. I make sure things are left clean and tidy, including food areas, floors after walks, and any mess that may happen during the day. I’m mindful of keeping doors, gates, and any house rules exactly as requested, and I always ensure everything is secure and as I found it before leaving. My aim is for both the pet and owner to come home to a calm, clean, and well-cared-for space.

About: I’ve always taken care of the pets of my friends, family and neighbours and have recently been using the borrow-my-doggy app to help look after the dogs of locals on a volunteering basis. This has included walking the dogs and having them overnight, with one client saying she teared up because of how helpful I was! I currently have no fixed working hours, so I am completely flexible! I can be a morning person or night owl depending on your pet, in order to adapt to their schedule in the most convenient way possible for you and them. I have a spacious area with 3 rooms and an open plan layout as well as stairs to allow your pet space to roam and run free, before heading out to the many amazing walking areas right in front of the gated property I live in. I have dog toys from when I looked after previous dogs and food/water bowls suitable for both dogs and cats. There’s never anything sharp or dangerous or in the way on the tidy floor of my house, making it the perfect place for your pet to roll around or play-fight, or just to rest after we’ve walked, played, cuddled, trained.. whatever your pet wants:)
About: I truly love animals and treat every fur baby like family, with patience, reliability, and close attention to their routine. Occasionally, I’ve had to take close one’s fur babies for vet care, and trips on my scooter bike. I’m currently working from home so pet care can easily fit into my daily routine, with regular walks, attention and timely meals. Cuddle time or playtime My goal is to keep it as normal and stress free for the pets. With a fenced house, your pet will have a safe space to play and relax. I’m able to follow their usual routine and accommodate any special care as needed.
About: I have experience with most breeds of dogs and cats (big and small)! This involves grooming, giving meds to senior felines and canines and weaning puppies from 3 weeks of age! I am also capable of training basic tricks from scratch, especially to younger dogs :) I’ve worked in a Dog Groomers for a few years now which has made me extremely patient meaning I can cope well with all types of temperaments and learnt to respect the boundaries of animals. My friends and family have trusted me plenty of times to walk, feed, bathe and care for their pets overnight, as they know I’ll provide them with updates throughout! I’ve been bonding and caring for my rescue cat since I was 4 years old. She means everything to me and she’s still here 18 years later happy as Larry! Having this strong bond with her has gained me an understanding of how important a pet’s happiness is to their owner, so I’d love to be apart of that whilst you are away! I have a degree in Zoology, but I am currently working as a bunny keeper in birmingham! I normally work Monday-Fridays 9:30am-4:30pm with the occasional weekend day in lieu. Due to this, I am only able to provide evening and weekend services. I’m an active person so my walks can range from 30 minutes to a couple hours depending on the breed and your preference, I’m also capable of walking multiple dogs at a time :) After each drop in, walk or house sit I will ensure your home is left tidy and your pet is left happy! About: We didn’t just adopt a dog—we welcomed a quiet, gentle soul into our home. Our rescue greyhound called teddy arrived with cautious eyes as if the world was still something to be figured out. Now teddy has his favourite sunny spot, his funny sleeping positions, and his little bursts of playful energy that catch us by surprise. Ted has gone from unsure and afraid of the world to completely at ease, and in doing so, hes changed our home too. It’s warmer, calmer, fuller. Watching Teddy learn to trust has been the most rewarding part. The first tail wag when we came home, the first time he leaned into us for affection, the moment he chose to rest his head on our lap—each small step felt like a milestone. It’s a reminder of how resilience and kindness can transform a dogs life so much . We have had teddy for 5 years now and he is a completely different dog displaying such confidence and joy in everything he does I am currently studying from home therefore your pet will be my top priority and i will have plenty of time to take care and play with them . I will always make sure your pet is in a comfortable and safe situation. I have an anxious dog myself and i know how to keep them calm on walks and avoid other dogs . I am experienced when it comes to identifying the signs of a dog feeling threatened or scared by other dogs making me the perfect protector for your pet.
About: We have had dogs our whole life. We absolutely love them, and we also have a 5 years old rescue English Bulldog who is amazing I work fully remote so always at home, your dog would never be left alone. My partner he will also works from home on occasionally. We have a fenced garden and little fur baby to keep your fur baby company. Open plan downstairs so always supervised. Lots of cuddles also. Unfortunately we can only take dogs that have been neutered or spade.
About: My pet care experience comes from family and friends dog as well as always growing up with our own family dogs - our current one I still look after regularly when my parents need. Taking care of a pet requires daily responsibility, patience, and genuine love. From feeding and grooming to regular exercise and play time, every task plays an important role in keeping a pet healthy and happy. I have learned to understand different behaviors, recognize signs of discomfort, and respond with care and attention. I also have experience with a range of ages, from looking after our previous dog during lockdown who was 13 and started to need a bit of extra care, to our current dog whom I trained from an 8 week old pup! I did grow up in a big dog only household but comfortable with all sizes! I currently work full time in the week, but my work does flexi time so I can come home during work hours, have shorter days or just take days off whenever needed. Along with this I have the space to set up a work from home area if required. I have a fully enclosed back garden making it safe for dogs to go out whenever they'd like. Along with this I can also crate your dog if required. Happy to discuss any other additional things that you feel may be required to keep them safe!

“Donna was excellent and I would definitely trust her to look after my dog again. I really appreciated the updates and photos as it helped put my mind at ease. Thank you for everything!”

About: My family have always had dogs whilst I was growing up, that I helped take care of. I now have a dog of my own and she is my best friend. I enjoy caring for her like she is my baby and extend my love and care for my animals to every animal I am always committed to providing the best care as shown through my 2 babies and I always have time to extend that care to any other animal. I have a fenced in garden with a very friendly and playful dog who will keep your pets company (if they’re also dog friendly).
“My moody/fussy 10 year old Border cross Archie has just come home after a week staying with Jane, and I don't think he was overly pleased in having to leave her. Jane was exceptional, very caring and attentive to his needs and fussy little routines, he was made to feel right at home. We received regular updates and photos which really puts your mind at rest. We will certainly use Jane's service again and would highly recommend her to everyone. Steve”

“Linsey was a fantastic host to our Vinnie. It was very appreciated that she hosted for a day prior to a weekly stay, so he could feel settled before (and we could too, first time ever leaving with a dog sitter!). We look forward to seeing you again soon!”

“Louise has looked after our dog Caspar overnight twice now and he is always very happy and well cared for! Louise is so good at updating us as to what he's up to and sending pics- Caspar clearly has a great time when he's there and we would 100% go to Louise again for dogsitting or overnight care.”

“Murad took great care of Hartley & Lilly, they were calm and relaxed when I picked them up. They had lots of cuddles and play time, Murad sent plenty of photos and updates so I felt reassured the whole time, thank you!”

“Thank you Shelagh and Pete for looking after Wilfred. A really great service and instantly made us feel comfortable and relaxed about leaving our dog for a few days. Great communication, friendly and would recommend to anyone needing their services. Will use again.”

“We left Duque, our old dog, with her for 3 days and we are very happy! Good communication, good care, good people! We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their patience and understanding especially because Duque also had health problems! We recommend her!!!❤️ Irina , George and Duque !”
