During his stay Brian and Erika were brilliant, we were kept updated daily with photos and videos, Teddy was walked every day and we could clearly see that he had the best time. Communication was great and we had a lovely relaxing time knowing Teddy was being so well looked after. It can be difficult to find someone you trust to look after and love your fur babies as much you do but we have definitely found the perfect place for Teddy with Brian & Erika.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from high energy pups to older dogs who just need a slow stroll and gentle attention. While I’m new to offering pet care through Rover, I bring decades of hands-on experience from raising and looking after dogs within my own family. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and detail-oriented, the kind of person both pets and people can depend on. I occasionally get help from my husband and nephew, who are also lifelong dog owners, but I personally handle all Rover bookings and communication to make sure you always know who’s caring for your pet. At my home, pets are cared for in a secure, structured, and loving environment. I have two friendly resident dogs who are well-socialized and enjoy the company of other dogs. Introductions are always done slowly and safely to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Depending on your pet’s needs, they can either relax indoors as part of the family or enjoy their own space in a clean, secure kennel with a run. I also have a large, fully fenced garden where dogs can play, explore, or just enjoy some fresh air in a safe, enclosed space. I always follow your instructions closely and provide consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and gentle care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: I have always had pets griwing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more.My experience is from having my own pets and caring for family and friends over the years. I am currently working as part time,so I have plenty of time to look and care after your pet. I am available weekdays from 9am. I have welcome and safe enviroment for your pet,my garden is fenced and secure.In my house your pet will get good and warm care.I will provide food and water,taking out for a walks,administering medicine if needed and providing companionship and nice cuddles.

Having grown up with dogs and other pets, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Caring for her throughout her life, particularly during her later years when she required regular medication due to seizures and a brain tumour, taught me patience, compassion and the importance of tailoring care to each individual dog. When staying in your home, I will bring my own food and toiletries, I can also bring my own bedding if required, and even a single or double blow-up bed. I will only require water and electricity and will return the home to you as you left it for me. When boarding, your pets become part of our family, my aim is to make them feel as comfortable as they would in their own home. Your pet is my top priority, so please make me aware of their routines, preferences and training techniques/keywords and I will ensure these are kept to. I know how it feels to leave your pet(s) when you are away, constantly thinking about how they are and what they are getting up to! So, rest assured, I will take plenty of photos and keep you updated as much as you would like. About: I have always had a strong love for animals, especially dogs, as I grew up surrounded by lots of different pets. Being around animals from a young age has helped me develop a natural understanding of how to care for them, be patient with them, and make sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. My experience as a dog sitter is something I really enjoy because I love spending time with dogs and getting to know their individual personalities and needs. I understand the importance of giving them plenty of attention, exercise, fresh air and companionship while their owners are away. One of my favourite parts of dog sitting is taking dogs out for walks. I enjoy giving them the opportunity to explore, exercise and have fun, while also benefiting from being outdoors myself. Going for regular walks with a dog helps me stay active and supports my own health and wellbeing, making it something that I find both enjoyable and rewarding. Overall, looking after dogs is something I am passionate about. Growing up with pets, combined with my experience caring for animals, has taught me to be responsible, caring and attentive. I would always treat someone else's dog with the same care and respect that I would give to my own pets. Working from home allows me to provide dogs with the attention, care and companionship they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to take regular breaks to feed them, let them outside, give them attention and take them out for walks. Being at home also means dogs are not left alone for long periods of time, which can help them feel more comfortable and settled. I can easily fit walks and playtime around my working schedule while still making sure my work commitments are met. I really enjoy being around dogs while I work, and I believe my home-based routine is ideal for dog sitting. It allows me to give each dog plenty of care and attention while providing a safe, calm and loving environment for them. Although my garden is on the smaller side, it is fully fenced and provides a safe and secure space for dogs to have regular toilet breaks and get some fresh air throughout the day. I understand that the garden is not intended to replace proper walks and exercise, but it is a convenient and secure space for quick toilet breaks whenever needed. I also live next to a beautiful bank and walking area, which is perfect for giving dogs plenty of exercise and outdoor stimulation. I regularly take my family’s dog there for walks and really enjoy spending time outdoors with him. The area provides a lovely environment for dogs to explore, get some exercise and enjoy their surroundings. Having both a secure garden and such a beautiful walking area nearby means I can provide dogs with regular toilet breaks, exercise and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

About: I've had pets since I was a small girl. I grew up with labradors, cats, rabbits and gerbils. It was only once i'd turned 30 I realised I wanted to be a veterinary nurse. I obtained my qualification December 2024 and was put on the RCVS register 2025. If you need help on an ad hoc basis and my availability fits with what you need, I'd love to be able to help you and your fur baby. I have Wednesdays off most weeks and have two days off either side of a weekend when I work them. The days I am off I am able to be home the whole time I have a fenced garden and a 10 and a half year old cavalier king charles spaniel that loves making new friends. He goes out for small walks but I am more than happy to go for long walks if thats what your fur baby needs
