About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from high energy pups to older dogs who just need a slow stroll and gentle attention. While I’m new to offering pet care through Rover, I bring decades of hands-on experience from raising and looking after dogs within my own family. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and detail-oriented, the kind of person both pets and people can depend on. I occasionally get help from my husband and nephew, who are also lifelong dog owners, but I personally handle all Rover bookings and communication to make sure you always know who’s caring for your pet. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I plan my day around your pet’s routine to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my availability for drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays based on your needs. If your pet has a specific schedule for feeding, walks, or medication, I’m happy to follow it closely. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At my home, pets are cared for in a secure, structured, and loving environment. I have two friendly resident dogs who are well-socialized and enjoy the company of other dogs. Introductions are always done slowly and safely to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Depending on your pet’s needs, they can either relax indoors as part of the family or enjoy their own space in a clean, secure kennel with a run. I also have a large, fully fenced garden where dogs can play, explore, or just enjoy some fresh air in a safe, enclosed space. I always follow your instructions closely and provide consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and gentle care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different breeds and sizes. I regularly provide boarding, walks, and day care in our home in Peterborough. We live in a spacious house with a garden, close to several parks, where pets can enjoy safe walks and playtime. Having grown up with dogs and other pets, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Nothing makes me happier than building trusting relationships with dogs and giving owners complete peace of mind while they’re away. My beautiful Beagle, Ivy, was my world. Caring for her throughout her life, particularly during her later years when she required regular medication due to seizures and a brain tumour, taught me patience, compassion and the importance of tailoring care to each individual dog. She sadly passed away in October 2024, but caring for other people’s pets has become a wonderful way of honouring her memory. As I don’t currently have any pets of my own, every boarded dog, pet I sit for, or walked dog, receives my full attention without needing to compete for space or affection. During your dog’s stay, or my sit, you’ll receive regular updates, together with plenty of photos and videos, so you can see exactly how they’re getting on and enjoy following their little holiday while you’re away. Whether your dog needs medication, has specific routines, dietary requirements or simply enjoys lots of cuddles and company, I’m always happy to accommodate their individual needs wherever possible. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I never take that responsibility for granted. My aim is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed and excited to return, while every owner feels confident they’ve found someone who genuinely cares. If you’d like to arrange a Meet & Greet or have any questions at all, I’d love to hear from you. I manage my own time and am a full time pet care professional so I have the flexibility to meet your pet's usual walk schedules, feeding time and administering of medication (if needed). When staying in your home, I will bring my own food and toiletries, I can also bring my own bedding if required, and even a single or double blow-up bed. I will only require water and electricity and will return the home to you as you left it for me. When boarding, your pets become part of our family, my aim is to make them feel as comfortable as they would in their own home. Your pet is my top priority, so please make me aware of their routines, preferences and training techniques/keywords and I will ensure these are kept to. I know how it feels to leave your pet(s) when you are away, constantly thinking about how they are and what they are getting up to! So, rest assured, I will take plenty of photos and keep you updated as much as you would like. I understand it is a big decision to leave your pet in a new environment, or to invite someone into your home and look after your pet and belongings! Therefore, I always recommend a meet-and-greet (at no extra charge), and am available to message or call with any questions to help build a rapport.

About: I have always had a strong love for animals, especially dogs, as I grew up surrounded by lots of different pets. Being around animals from a young age has helped me develop a natural understanding of how to care for them, be patient with them, and make sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. My experience as a dog sitter is something I really enjoy because I love spending time with dogs and getting to know their individual personalities and needs. I understand the importance of giving them plenty of attention, exercise, fresh air and companionship while their owners are away. One of my favourite parts of dog sitting is taking dogs out for walks. I enjoy giving them the opportunity to explore, exercise and have fun, while also benefiting from being outdoors myself. Going for regular walks with a dog helps me stay active and supports my own health and wellbeing, making it something that I find both enjoyable and rewarding. Overall, looking after dogs is something I am passionate about. Growing up with pets, combined with my experience caring for animals, has taught me to be responsible, caring and attentive. I would always treat someone else's dog with the same care and respect that I would give to my own pets. Working from home allows me to provide dogs with the attention, care and companionship they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to take regular breaks to feed them, let them outside, give them attention and take them out for walks. Being at home also means dogs are not left alone for long periods of time, which can help them feel more comfortable and settled. I can easily fit walks and playtime around my working schedule while still making sure my work commitments are met. I really enjoy being around dogs while I work, and I believe my home-based routine is ideal for dog sitting. It allows me to give each dog plenty of care and attention while providing a safe, calm and loving environment for them. Although my garden is on the smaller side, it is fully fenced and provides a safe and secure space for dogs to have regular toilet breaks and get some fresh air throughout the day. I understand that the garden is not intended to replace proper walks and exercise, but it is a convenient and secure space for quick toilet breaks whenever needed. I also live next to a beautiful bank and walking area, which is perfect for giving dogs plenty of exercise and outdoor stimulation. I regularly take my family’s dog there for walks and really enjoy spending time outdoors with him. The area provides a lovely environment for dogs to explore, get some exercise and enjoy their surroundings. Having both a secure garden and such a beautiful walking area nearby means I can provide dogs with regular toilet breaks, exercise and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

About: I have a dog of my own and children, so I understand how important it is to find someone caring, reliable and trustworthy to look after your pet. I’m patient, responsible and treat every dog as if they were my own. 🐶❤️ I work from home, so I’m around for most of the day and can give your pet plenty of attention and company.
