Please note that I am unable to provide care in my own home due to having a reactive dog, but I’m more than happy to care for your pet in your home or take them out for walks and adventures. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I care for animals every day. Alongside owning dogs since childhood and living on a farm, I’m also training to be a dog groomer, so handling, coat care, and general wellbeing are part of my routine. Dogs in my care receive regular attention, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. Care is always personalised to each dog. When caring for dogs in my home, they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and a home-from-home experience. When caring for dogs in their own home, I stick closely to their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from high energy pups to older dogs who just need a slow stroll and gentle attention. While I’m new to offering pet care through Rover, I bring decades of hands-on experience from raising and looking after dogs within my own family. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and detail-oriented, the kind of person both pets and people can depend on. I occasionally get help from my husband and nephew, who are also lifelong dog owners, but I personally handle all Rover bookings and communication to make sure you always know who’s caring for your pet. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I plan my day around your pet’s routine to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my availability for drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays based on your needs. If your pet has a specific schedule for feeding, walks, or medication, I’m happy to follow it closely. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At my home, pets are cared for in a secure, structured, and loving environment. I have two friendly resident dogs who are well-socialized and enjoy the company of other dogs. Introductions are always done slowly and safely to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Depending on your pet’s needs, they can either relax indoors as part of the family or enjoy their own space in a clean, secure kennel with a run. I also have a large, fully fenced garden where dogs can play, explore, or just enjoy some fresh air in a safe, enclosed space. I always follow your instructions closely and provide consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and gentle care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.
