About: I have just said farewell to my 15 year old Springer Spaniel and whilst I am not yet ready for a new companion I would love to look after your dog whilst you're on holiday. I recently retired and so available to take care of your dog all day, every day. I am used to walking 5+ miles a day and your pet will get at least 3 walks per day (if required/heat permits) and will be rarely left alone (if Sitting/boarding/day care). I have a fenced garden at the bottom of a quiet cul de sac, and live nearby a large orchard for safe (on lead) walks. Crate and dog bed available and covers on furniture if cuddles are required. I can accommodate 2 dogs from the same family at my home. I will decline bookings if we already have a dog with me.

“I can't thank Ly enough for taking such wonderful care of my dog during a one-night stay. Jacko was unfortunately feeling poorly with a bad stomach at the time, but she went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well looked after. She kept me updated throughout the night with regular messages and lots of photos, which really reassured me and put my mind at ease. It was clear how much she genuinely cared, and it felt more like leaving my dog with family than with a sitter. Her son also helped care for my dog when she wasn’t there, and it was lovely to see that same level of care and kindness from him too. The whole experience had a very homely and warm feel, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them both to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive sitter. “We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Kim for our 1 year old lexi, it was clear when we had a pre meet with Kim and her own 3 adorable dogs how much love and care lexi would receive. During her 5 day stay we were kept updated with pics etc, lexi was treated with walks in the woods and visits to the beach and lexi looked so happy enjoying her break, she was relaxed and had truly bonded with Kim and her dogs,Kim's love for dogs really stood out. “Sewwandi did such a great job with Bevo. They sent several pictures & videos and she communicated a lot with us providing updates throughout the day. Bevo didn’t have time to miss us between the walks and play time with their sweet little Boston, Poppy. They sent a few updates that let us know they were treating Bevo like she was their own. A week or so after her stay, we bumped into Sewwandi on a walk and Bevo lost her mind she was so excited to see her! I would recommend Sewwandi to anyone looking for a Rover!”

“I was looking for an alternative to kennels for my 19 month old French bulldog x and came across rover. I carefully looked through all the potential pet sitters (after putting in all my requirements) and came across Mat, he was really friendly and answered any questions I had, we had a meet and greet which went very well (my dog was welcomed with open arms the minute we got there) and even though I was nervous, as this was my dogs first stay away with strangers, I really didn’t need to be. Mat and his family took very good care of my dog, over the four night stay he was there, and sent me pictures every day of him to keep my mind at peace. When I went to pick to my dog up he was very happy and chilled out and dare I say didn’t want to leave. I would highly recommend Mat and his family to look after your furry friend and I will definitely be rebooking with Mat in the future.”

About: Hi! We’re Aimee and Jake, a couple living in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Dogs have been part of our lives since childhood, I grew up with everything from Havanese and Jack Russells to German Pointers, mixed breeds, pugs and Great Danes, while Jake grew up around German Shepherds & Dachshunds. We’re cat people too, so a multi-pet household is nothing new to us. We’re not quite ready for a dog of our own yet, which is exactly why we love stepping in to help when you need a hand - and we’re happy with all breeds and personalities. Between myself and my partner Jake dogs fit very easily into our routine - Jake work’s remotely at home all week, and I work from home two-three days a week too, so there’s rarely a day without company. We’re also free most weekends and love a good walk, so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time, playtime, and cuddles. Our home is a spacious, pet-friendly house with a secure, fenced enclosed garden and no outdoor hazards - a safe, calm space for any dog staying with us. We’re also close to plenty of walking spots, so there’s always fresh air and exercise on hand.
