“Brian and Erika looked after our 8 year old Cockapoo at their house while we were away. We had never left Tia overnight so I was a bit nervous. From the first message they sent I knew I had nothing to worry about they seemed very kind and knowledgeable about dogs, they have 2 of their own. At the meet and greet Tia seemed comfortable with them straight away. They have a lovely garden and also some lovely walks nearby which I knew Tia would love. When we dropped her off she was pleased to see Brian and Erica so it was very easy to leave her. Brian sent lots of videos and photos, I could tell she was having a lovely time. We do not go away very often without Tia but I would definitely be happy to leave her with Brian and Erica again.”

Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from high energy pups to older dogs who just need a slow stroll and gentle attention. While I’m new to offering pet care through Rover, I bring decades of hands-on experience from raising and looking after dogs within my own family. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and detail-oriented, the kind of person both pets and people can depend on. I occasionally get help from my husband and nephew, who are also lifelong dog owners, but I personally handle all Rover bookings and communication to make sure you always know who’s caring for your pet. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I plan my day around your pet’s routine to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my availability for drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays based on your needs. If your pet has a specific schedule for feeding, walks, or medication, I’m happy to follow it closely. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At my home, pets are cared for in a secure, structured, and loving environment. I have two friendly resident dogs who are well-socialized and enjoy the company of other dogs. Introductions are always done slowly and safely to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Depending on your pet’s needs, they can either relax indoors as part of the family or enjoy their own space in a clean, secure kennel with a run. I also have a large, fully fenced garden where dogs can play, explore, or just enjoy some fresh air in a safe, enclosed space. I always follow your instructions closely and provide consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and gentle care. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

He's normally a very nervous and clingy dog but from the get go Aneta was extremely professional and planned Berties stay in advance to ensure that he was made as comfortable and happy as possible. She took him on plenty of walks and showed him extensive attention and affection throughout his stay. Making sure he felt at home. About: I have been caring for dogs for many years, beginning when I lived in Latvia until 2011. During my school holidays, I regularly looked after my grandparents’ dogs — sometimes as many as four — as well as my godmother’s little dachshund, Rikis. I also helped neighbours by walking their dogs and caring for them when needed. Currently, I have a lovely, almost six-year-old Boxer named Chester. He is absolutely adorable, very well-mannered, friendly, playful, and fully trained. Chester loves the company of other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for your furry friend. We are always happy to welcome other dogs to play with him, whether at our home or in their own environment. We have a spacious garden at the back of our house, giving the dogs plenty of space to play and relax. We also enjoy regular walks around the village and through nearby fields. Chester is excellent off the lead, but we are equally happy to care for dogs that need to stay on the lead at all times. Dogs truly bring me happiness, and I love giving them attention, affection, playtime, and loving care. I would be delighted to look after your beloved furry family member and ensure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while in my care. I am always at home because I work remotely. I can play with them whenever they need my attention. I enjoy regular breaks with my boxer, so I will schedule consistent times to spend with your doggo :). I have a fenced garden with plenty of space, and my Chester loves dogs and will keep good company with your dog, I will always be around.

About: I have always had a strong love for animals, especially dogs, as I grew up surrounded by lots of different pets. Being around animals from a young age has helped me develop a natural understanding of how to care for them, be patient with them, and make sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. My experience as a dog sitter is something I really enjoy because I love spending time with dogs and getting to know their individual personalities and needs. I understand the importance of giving them plenty of attention, exercise, fresh air and companionship while their owners are away. One of my favourite parts of dog sitting is taking dogs out for walks. I enjoy giving them the opportunity to explore, exercise and have fun, while also benefiting from being outdoors myself. Going for regular walks with a dog helps me stay active and supports my own health and wellbeing, making it something that I find both enjoyable and rewarding. Overall, looking after dogs is something I am passionate about. Growing up with pets, combined with my experience caring for animals, has taught me to be responsible, caring and attentive. I would always treat someone else's dog with the same care and respect that I would give to my own pets. Working from home allows me to provide dogs with the attention, care and companionship they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to take regular breaks to feed them, let them outside, give them attention and take them out for walks. Being at home also means dogs are not left alone for long periods of time, which can help them feel more comfortable and settled. I can easily fit walks and playtime around my working schedule while still making sure my work commitments are met. I really enjoy being around dogs while I work, and I believe my home-based routine is ideal for dog sitting. It allows me to give each dog plenty of care and attention while providing a safe, calm and loving environment for them. Although my garden is on the smaller side, it is fully fenced and provides a safe and secure space for dogs to have regular toilet breaks and get some fresh air throughout the day. I understand that the garden is not intended to replace proper walks and exercise, but it is a convenient and secure space for quick toilet breaks whenever needed. I also live next to a beautiful bank and walking area, which is perfect for giving dogs plenty of exercise and outdoor stimulation. I regularly take my family’s dog there for walks and really enjoy spending time outdoors with him. The area provides a lovely environment for dogs to explore, get some exercise and enjoy their surroundings. Having both a secure garden and such a beautiful walking area nearby means I can provide dogs with regular toilet breaks, exercise and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
