About: I’ve had a dog as part of my life since I was 12, my Labrador Ben who I cared for throughout his 13 years. This gave me lots of experience with day-to-day dog care, exercise, feeding, routines and understanding a dog’s individual needs. I’m caring, responsible and patient, and I’ll treat every dog I look after as if they were my own. I’ve recently graduated from university as a dietitian and currently have flexible availability while I start my career. This means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your dog, including weekday walks, drop-in visits and weekends. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and will always agree timings with you in advance. I’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine and your instructions, including their walking, feeding and care needs. I’ll make sure they’re safe and comfortable throughout my visit, provide plenty of attention and companionship, and give them time to exercise and play. I’ll also keep you updated so you know how they’re doing.

About: We’ve always had dogs and they’ve been a huge part of our lives. Having recently lost our beloved dogs, we’re not quite ready to have one of our own again, but we really miss the companionship, fun and love they bring. We’re looking forward to welcoming dogs into our home and giving them plenty of love, attention and fuss while their owners are away. We both work, but would love the company of a four-legged friend when we’re not at work, whether that’s enjoying a relaxing evening at home, heading out for a walk or simply having a dog by our side. About: Dogs have always been a big part of Keith and I. We have grown up with them, had our own dogs, and cared for dogs from puppyhood right through to their senior years. Keith and I have experience with Chihuahuas, Dachshunds and Border Terriers, as well as Schnauzers, Jack Russells and cross-breed dogs. We have also looked after dogs with different needs, including medication, special diets and different exercise routines. At one point, our family home had more than 10 dogs, so we are very used to making sure every dog is fed, cared for and gets plenty of individual attention and affection! We know how difficult it can feel leaving your dog with somebody else, particularly when travelling. That is one of the reasons we decided to offer boarding and day care. We want dogs staying with us to feel as comfortable and settled as possible, and for their owners to feel reassured that they are being properly looked after. We are happy to follow your dog's usual routine, including feeding times, walks, medication and any little habits that help them feel at home. A typical day with us can include morning and evening walks, plenty of time relaxing at home, lots of cuddles and, of course, regular photos and updates for you. We are particularly comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, including puppies and senior dogs. Most importantly, we love having dogs around and would treat your dog as part of our home while they are staying with us. We have flexible working routines and work from home a couple of days a week, which means we can offer plenty of company and attention throughout the day. On day care days, dogs would not be left alone. We can fit walks, feeding, playtime, toilet breaks and rest around their usual routine, and we are happy to adapt to what they are already used to at home. We enjoy getting out for walks and have plenty of green spaces nearby, but we are equally happy with dogs who prefer a quieter day, shorter walks and lots of time relaxing on the sofa. We want every dog staying with us to feel safe, comfortable and at home. We live in a mid-terraced house with private front and rear outdoor space, and there are no children or other pets in the home. Dogs are welcome to relax with us on the sofa and furniture, and they can sleep in their own bed so we can keep things as familiar as possible. We always follow the owner's instructions around feeding, walks, medication, special diets and routines. We also take time to understand each dog's personality, including anything that may make them nervous, their usual habits and how they prefer to interact. We also know how reassuring it is to hear how your dog is doing while you are away, so we are very happy to send regular photos and updates during their stay.

About: I really miss my dogs since they died a few years ago but travel a lot now so looking to care for other people's dogs inbetween. Active person looking forward to walks and cuddles with your pooch. I do prefer smaller dogs but will look after medium sized dogs upto around 10kg. I had a Border Terrier cross Jack Russell (Sandy) for 14 years until she sadly died. She was such a lovely and gentle dog, who could be extremely anxious so Ioved lots of cuddles. My other dog was a rescue stray (Zac) who had the look and size of a Beagle. He was so lovely and such a gentleman in our home. I had him for 6 years until he sadly died of old age. I currently work full time with some days working from home. Other days I work in the community and call home over lunch time. For the 2 days a week I am out of the house all day (9-5) my mam lives opposite me so she will come over and take your dog for a walk or let your dog into my large garden in bad weather and sit with them for intervals throughout the day so they are not alone all day. During the week I am in the house all night after work and during this time I would take your dog for at least 1 walk and provide plenty of cuddles. Over the weekend I tend to be in and out of the house for short amounts of time; hopefully this time will be with your dog on long walks in future and I will ensure they also get plenty of company and cuddles from myself and no doubt my mam and adult daughters will also be around giving cuddles. I have a 6ft secure fenced large garden for your dog to get plenty of fresh air in. When I'm home, in fair weather I tend to keep the door open so dogs can go in and out of the garden as they please. If your dog is used to a crate or any other routines regarding how you prefer to leave them when alone, I can try my best to accommodate these requests. If you use a crate you would need to provide the crate.

Everything from the first contact via Rover to the end of Misty's stay was smooth and stress free for us, Pete and Emma are such calm confident people, at our initial meeting at the park we felt very confident they were going to look after Misty as their own and that reassured us we had chosen correctly. She kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos which really reassured me as this was my first time leaving Bruno with someone who wasn’t family.
