Samantha was great with Nugget. From the first meeting I could tell he would be OK with her. When I went to pick him up, it looked like he didn't want to leave. Samantha is the best if you need a weekend away. Will definitely be asking her again, if we need another weekend away

About: 🐾 A Home Away From Home for Your Best Friend! 🐾 Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of every age, breed, and personality. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, so I understand that every pup is unique and deserves plenty of love, patience, and individual attention. From energetic puppies learning the ropes to gentle senior dogs needing a little extra care, I'm experienced with it all. I've helped with puppy training, supported older dogs with arthritis and mobility issues, and cared for every stage in between. Whether your dog is full of zoomies or prefers a slower pace, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy during their stay. I've looked after dogs of all shapes and sizes—from tiny Jack Russells right up to gentle giants like Dogues de Bordeaux—so no matter how big or small your four-legged family member is, they'll be welcomed with open arms. Your dog will have plenty of room to make themselves at home in our spacious house, with lots of cosy spots to relax, nap, or simply potter about. Outside, we have a large, secure garden where they can stretch their legs, play, sniff, and soak up the fresh air. We're also surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it the perfect place for exciting adventures, leisurely strolls, and plenty of sniff-filled walkies. Sharing our home is our lovely spayed female Golden Retriever, who absolutely adores other dogs. She's friendly, gentle, and always happy to make new friends—whether that's a game of chase in the garden or simply lounging together after a long walk. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I'll care for them as if they were one of my own. Whether they're staying for a day, a weekend, or a longer holiday, you can relax knowing they'll receive lots of love, attention, playtime, cuddles (if they enjoy them!), and updates so you can see what they've been getting up to. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I work from home full-time, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. My schedule already revolves around my own Golden Retriever, meaning your dog will always have company, attention, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and relaxation throughout the day. Our mornings start with breakfast (our Goldie would never let us forget it!), followed by a long walk through the beautiful nearby woods and countryside. If anyone comes home a little muddy after their adventure, they're more than welcome to enjoy a quick rinse before settling in. While I work, the dogs can relax wherever they're most comfortable, with free access to our spacious, secure garden whenever they fancy a sniff or a potter outside. I take regular breaks throughout the day for playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks, and, of course, the occasional well-earned treat! In the afternoon, we head out for another walk before winding down for the evening. Whether your dog loves exploring, playing, snoozing, or simply being close to people, they'll enjoy a relaxed, home-from-home environment with lots of love, attention, and companionship. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a large, fully secure garden with high fencing, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, explore, or simply relax in the fresh air whenever they like. I also make sure that any plants within their reach are dog-safe, so you can have complete peace of mind. Sharing our home is our friendly, spayed Golden Retriever, who absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Whether it's a game of zoomies around the garden, exploring together on walks, or curling up for a well-earned nap, she's always delighted to welcome a new furry friend. Inside, our home is spacious, calm, and relaxed, and dogs can settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or prefers a peaceful snooze after a walk, they'll have plenty of space to feel safe, loved, and right at home.

About: For over 15 years, I’ve cared for and loved our family cats, giving them all the affection, patience, and attention they deserve. From playful kitten days to quiet cuddles in their senior years, they’ve been a cherished part of my life, growing with me and have taught me just how deep the bond with a pet can be. In the past 15 years I have had experience administering medicine to both my family cats and caring for them - including cleaning litter trays and personal grooming if needed.

About: Hi, I’m Bethan! I’m 27 years old and have been around cats and other pets my entire life. I currently share my home with Pico, my beloved Tabby, who is truly my best friend. Cats have always been my favourite animals — I love their personalities, intelligence, and seeing them thrive through play, affection, and proper care. As a full-time, home-based crime analyst, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to visit your home and give your feline friends the attention and care they deserve. I also hold an enhanced level of security clearance through my career, so you can feel confident knowing your pets and home are in safe and trustworthy hands. I understand how important routines and familiar environments are for cats, especially indoor cats. As an indoor cat owner myself, I’m very mindful about keeping cats safely indoors and ensuring doors and windows are secure at all times. My services include: - Feeding and refreshing water - Scooping and cleaning litter trays - Playtime and companionship (if your cat enjoys interaction) - Photo and video updates for peace of mind, if wanted Whether your cat is playful, shy, affectionate, or independent, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Feel free to reach out to discuss your cat’s needs! 😻

About: Hello all :) I have had years of experience with cats. Ranging from my own in the past, to those of friends and family. I am always the person that people can rely on to look after their "fur babies". I have no allergies and I can drive. I am fairly flexible. As mentioned in my profile I do work full time but I get a decent amount of annual leave so typically around 1 week of the month I have off work and can dedicate this time to pet sitting. My experience with cats in a bit more detail: When I was younger I had my own 3 cats. 2 girls (Missy and Zelda) and 1 boy (Simba). Both the girls got pregnant a few times each and so I have experience with newborn kittens, right the way up to a cat aged over 12 years old! My mothers cat is one of the litter of kittens that my cats had. I regularly drop in on her to feed her or help my stepdad change her litter tray. She loves nothing more than sitting on my lap and clicking my jeans/leggings with her little "biscuits" and purring away. In May 2026 I looked after a lovely ginger male indoor cat called Max - this was for my friend whos co-worker went on holiday and my friend had originally agreed to look after Max but she has accidently double booked herself with looking after her brothers dog. So Max came to live with me for the week in my own home. It was so lovely seeing him come out of his shell and being comfortable enough to sit on my lap and let me pet him. In June 2026 I stayed at another friends house for the week and looked after Bobby - a male cat who goes outdoors, whilst his owners went on holiday. Bobby is a very skittish cat but I met him a week or so prior to my friend going away on holiday. Whilst I stayed at his home, he slowly got used to me being there and even started rubbing against me and accepting treats by hand. I have countless times also looked after my sisters cats as well as other friends and family throughout the years. All of this makes me feel very confident that your cats would be in good hands with me. I am patient, loving and calm.

About: I have taken care of dogs for the most part of my life and I have had many praises for the care and efforts that I put into my work. Dogs will be constantly fed, watered, walked and even trained or washed upon request. We are a very active household who love to get out and about on adventures so your furry friend will never get bored of exploring new places. So I do work during the day, however my partner works from home so is able to take good care of them while I am away. I will walk your dog before I go to work, and as soon as I get back followed by then again in the evening. I have a large, fenced garden for your dog, as well as plenty of toys and balls to play fetch and other dog games to play.

About: I have experience with everything from daily care routines and special dietary needs to administering medications. I’ll care for your pets with love and attention, just as if they were my own, and make sure they get plenty of engaging playtime. I work from home, so I’m available for drop-in visits/walks in the morning, at lunch, or in the afternoon/evening. I’m even more flexible with timing on weekends. Please don't hesitate in contacting me. I will treat your home with upmost respect, – I’m naturally clean and tidy! I’ll make sure to stay out of any rooms or areas you’d prefer to keep private. If needed, I’ll clean litter trays, sweep and tidy up any little messes, and keep food bowls clean. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos if you’d like. I live in a three-bedroom house, which has a decent garden that is high and has a secure gate. That can accommodate your pet. Currently, we have two cats at home now, Floki (4 years) and Moshi (3 years) so we (me and my fiancée ) can look after other cats or some small dogs that are cat-friendly.

About: I am QLS Level 3 Animal Care, Pet First Aid & Pet CPR qualified, and carry a pet first aid kit with me at all times.   I am a passionate animal lover; I volunteered for Sheffield Retired Greyhound Trust until I moved to the North East in 2024, spending my Saturday mornings caring for and walking rescue greyhounds. I grew up with two of my own dogs. I have been providing dog walking services since 2017, and daycare and boarding since 2019, meaning I have over 15 years of experience taking care of dogs. 🐶   I have a calm and quiet home, and can provide enrichment and plenty of attention, especially if your dog loves a sofa cuddle! I pride myself in being reliable and communicative, so you know your dog is in the best hands. I live near Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve, and hold a Durham Wildlife Trust membership to walk dogs in a variety of different places so they don't get bored. 🌳   I organise a pre-meet before all boarding bookings to check that you and your dog feel comfortable with me, my partner Cal, and our home, to make sure we're a good fit for your dog and vice versa. We don't have any of our own pets, and I only care for one family's pets at a time, to ensure I can provide the best one to one love and care; a real home away from home. 🥰    When your dog is in my care, I treat them as if they were my own. I will provide you with regular photo 'pupdates' on how they are and what they're getting up to. 🐾 I work from home, so I can offer boarding and daycare for dogs and small furries (separately, or together if from the same famiy). I can only cater for dogs with separation anxiety for daycare, but not for boarding. I live in a calm and quiet detached house with a decent sized fenced-in garden, with my partner Cal. We don’t have any of our own pets, and I only care for one family’s pets at a time, to ensure I can provide the best one to one love and care.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and grew up on a farm with many dogs. I have also brought my children up around animals and have had both cats and dogs for them to grow up with. I am well versed in feeding, washing and walking dogs and love dogs of all kinds. I have most of my days free but enjoy going on morning and evening walks in the summer as well as spending time outside in the sun. My house has a large back yard and has plenty of space for dogs to roam and play. There are also many public foot paths near my house that I enjoy taking dogs for walks on.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have my own dog, Nala, who I adore and who is great with other dogs, so if your dog is looking for a sitter where she can be around another dog, we would be perfect. I have a fully enclosed rear garden as well as great walks locally. My house is calm, caring and relaxed, the perfect environment for any dog. I taking the dogs for walks and making sure dogs get all the exercise and enrichment they need through the day. The dogs that I’ve looked after previously have adjusted quickly into our safe and caring environment, wherever possible I aim to mirror their own home, following as close a routine as we can. They will get plenty of attention, care and activity both physical and mental enrichment. I have no children, but my dog would be around, so your dog must be happy with other dogs. I work from home a number of days a week and would be looking to care for dogs on these days, where I have plenty of time for walks, cuddles and to look after all of their needs. I also don't work a number of mornings so can fully focus my attention on the dog during this time. I have a secure fully fenced medium size garden the dogs can enjoy and they would also have freedom in the house to roam. I live walking distance to some good nature walks where the dog can enjoy exploring and get good exercise. These walks are safe and away from cars.

She was flexible when I got the dates wrong on our booking and had to change last minute. Communication was great and drop off and collection was really easy. She is super friendly and Hugo enjoyed his time there with her and her family and her dog Rosie who is a lovely dog. We got some lovely photos of Hugo on his walks and he had a great time. Next time we’re back in Durham we will be definitely using Lynn again! Thanks!

About: I've always loved caring for animals, which only increased when I got my first dog 12 years ago. She has taught me patience, companionship and the skill of training a puppy! Since then I've cared for friends and family's pets and in the last 2 years started walking and pet-sitting dogs in my local area; so with experience comes confidence of adapting to each dog's needs and catering to the owner, who knows their dog the best! I'd love to help others because I know how important dogs are and how much we love them. I'm doing animal care full time so if you just request a shedule and I will more than likely be able to fit you in ☺️ I've done pet-sitting for many neighbours with no issues - just tell me what you would like and where the treats are kept! :) I always aim for the dogs/cats to be comfortable and relaxed and will follow any instructions to crate your pet or keep them off furniture etc.

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I provide dog walking, puppy visits, and cat care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I understand how important routine, patience, and consistency are — especially for puppies, nervous pets, or those needing a little extra care. I’m also trained in canine first aid and CPR, giving you added peace of mind while your pet is in my care. I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and committed to providing a reliable and professional service. I have a flexible schedule as I run my own pet service business alongside a 0-hour theatre contract, which allows me to manage my time and prioritise pet care bookings. This means I can often accommodate a range of visit times throughout the day. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine, and I plan my schedule carefully to ensure each pet receives reliable, consistent care. I also have my own pets, so I understand the importance of balancing time and making sure every animal gets the attention they need. I’m happy to discuss specific timings and requirements to find what works best for you and your pet. All pet sitting takes place in your home, so your pet can stay in a familiar, comfortable environment and stick to their usual routine. This is especially important for both cats and dogs, helping to reduce stress and keep them settled while you’re away. I take the time to follow your pet’s individual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. Whether it’s a relaxed walk for your dog or a calm, quiet visit for your cat, everything is tailored to suit their needs and personality. As a lifelong cat owner and experienced pet carer, I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet and entering your home. I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and always respectful of your space. Regular updates and photos can be provided so you can feel reassured and connected while you’re away.

I have some Mondays and Fridays off. I generally work 8-4pm Monday - Friday but I can work from home and my evenings and weekends are free. I have a rear enclosed garden with a 6ft high fence, grass and paved area with plenty of plants and greenery. It’s not a huge garden but enough for your pet to have a little run around. I care for our extended family and friends dogs in my home while they go away on holiday. I lost my gorgeous dog four years ago and miss him terribly. I decided this would be a great way to enjoy having the company of a dog again. My dog was a whippet so I know what a good walk looks like! I am are registered on trusted house sitters and have five star reviews from all my sits. I have no dogs myself so your dog would be the only dog to be cared for whilst with me. You can go away knowing your dog would be having a lovely holiday with me while you are having your own holiday. They fit in as my pet for the duration of their stay. If I stayed in your home you could rest assured I know how to look after a home. I have been married for over 40 years. I have an acre garden so grass cutting does not faze me either.

I was kept updated all weekend with photos and videos and it was clear to see how much Blu was well cared for. I would recommend Georgia 10/10, it felt like he went from home to home and Blu cannot wait for his next stay :) thank you so so much! Xxx

Liam, Hannah & Beau could not have taken better care of Paul for the 9 days we were away. We had loads of updates, Paul looked happier and more settled than we’d ever seen him! Lovely home, lovely family and Beau is the sweetest dog. We will 100% be bringing Paul back for another stay!

I have lost count of how many times Sadie has stayed with Anthony, she is always very happy to see him and stay there. Sadie has a great time and is well looked after . Thank you Anthony, that’s the second time this month you have had her, I didn’t get the chance to say thanks for the beginning of the month.

When you leave your dog with someone it is always a worry, however Peter was great and looked after our little girl so well. He gave us updates and photos during her stay too. Would not hesitate to leave Tina with him again.

This was our first time using a dog sitter, and I was a little nervous, but Brianna was fantastic. I would definitely recommend her and would happily book with her again. Thank you!

Sima and Kristina were amazing looking after our girls and Axel. Sima suggested we have a meet and greet first before making the booking which was a lovely thought - we could see the garden and house that our dogs will be spending time in which put our minds at ease knowing they have the same freedom as they do at home. Sima also kept in touch with photos and updates. Thank you very much Sima and Kristina!

We had such a great experience leaving Vader with them and honestly couldn’t have asked for better care From the start they were friendly, polite, and really easy to communicate with, which made the whole process feel stress-free. While we were away, they kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which we really appreciated, and it was so reassuring to see how happy and settled he was. It was obvious Vader was completely comfortable and having the best time (I genuinely think he would’ve happily stayed longer!!) They really embraced his personality as well, even his obsession with bringing his collection of sticks in the house lol, which made it feel like he was properly understood and cared for, not just “looked after.” When we picked him up he was absolutely exhausted, which says everything; clearly lots of walks, playtime, and attention. We wont hesitate to book with them again and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely great with dogs

I can’t thank Sónia enough for the incredible care she gave my dog, Lucky, over the past four days. From the moment he arrived, she and her family treated him like one of their own — with love, patience, and genuine attention. She kept me updated every day with messages, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that Lucky felt completely at home with her and her lovely dog Izzy. The two of them got along so well, and it was heartwarming to see how gentle and welcoming Izzy was with Lucky. What touched me most was how involved her child was in looking after Lucky. He wasn’t just a guest — they embraced him like their own pet. Lucky bonded so quickly with them, always wanting to be close, whether it was playtime, cuddles, or just following them around the house. The way they connected was something truly special, and I know he’s going to miss them a lot. Sónia went above and beyond — from fun walks and play sessions to thoughtful care and even a Sunday chicken dinner, which Lucky absolutely devoured! She noticed every little detail, made sure he was comfortable, and cared for him with so much heart. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person and family to look after him. Thank you so much, Sónia — you and your family are truly amazing, and Lucky was lucky to have you.

I'm delighted with how Poppy cared for Minnie, my elderly and fairly nervous jr/chihuahua cross. Minnie had a lovely time pootling about the garden with Poppy's lovely, gentle dog Narla. I could see from the photos and video Poppy updated me regularly with, that Minnie was happy and relaxed - which in itself is an achievement. I have no hesitation in recommending Poppy for dogs care and will definitely be booking her again.

Minnie had a wonderful time with Kay. We felt at ease instantly, as Kay was so thorough when asking about Minnie’s needs and showed her lots of love from the get go. She has an amazing garden which Minnie wasted no time in enjoying! Kay sent lots of updates with photos and videos to put our mind at ease too which was fab. We would recommend to anyone who would like a kind, loving home away from home for their pup, we will certainly be using Kay again.
