“Sharon has been a fabulous host to my Maisie, a true dog lover that really cares for her own dog as well as my visiting Maisie. Sharon provided regular updates with pics during a weeks stay that saved me wondering how things were going. Maisie appears to have had a great time, and treated as Sharon's own pet dog is treated. Will be booking again Thanks again X”

A very loving and caring family, they went the extra mile to make sure Loki was kept safe and happy especially whilst the New Years Day fireworks were taking place. I would highly recommend this family to take care of your dog. Thanks to you and your family Julian. We will definitely be booking with you again.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life — I grew up with dogs and cats, & I now share my gorgeous dog Madison with my ex, & so only have her 50% of the time. She's truly the love of my life, & so I know first hand just how much a pet means to their owner. When Madison isn’t with me, I really miss the companionship, which is why I’d love to spend time with other pets on my Madison-free days. I also occasionally look after my mum’s dogs (2 x cockapoos) and cats (2 x ragdolls), so I’m used to a variety of personalities, temperaments, and needs. Whether your pet is full of energy or prefers a gentler pace, you can trust that I’ll care for them with the same love, attention, and respect I give to Madison — as if they were my own. I work full time, but I work from home 4 days a week. I typically go into the office on a Thursday & have Madison Thursday evening-Sunday morning (although this can vary based on plans/holidays). I'm not yet in a position where I can board/daycare at my home whilst I have Madison, as she can be a bit scared of dogs she doesn’t know, but I should usually be able to offer drop in sessions at your home, or walks on those days. I have a one bedroom ground floor apartment, with a spacious living room. There isn't a private garden, but there are communal gardens just outside, and a big park three minutes away which is where I typically take Madison for walks. I have dog beds, plenty of dog toys, dog stairs to access the sofa (for any who struggle with jumping due to IVDD/back issues) and feeding bowls. Madison is not crate trained, and so I don't own a crate, but can of course use yours whilst here if needed. Pets are welcome on sofas/beds should this be something you're happy with. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else's care, so I treat every animal with the same love, attention, and respect I give my own.

“2nd time watching Blu, he was so excited to see them! They took great care of him, kept me updated with adorable pictures included and bought him treats!”

“Snowy our Maltese boarded with Paulina for 3 nights over the Christmas break. Whilst with Paulina, we received many updates from Paulina on how Snowy was doing. Paulina had maintained great communication from when we met up for meet and greet to the end of the stay. Paulina was also very consistent and did not change time and dates and was flexible with our drop off and pick up time. We had the impression that Paulina is a genuine dog lover and we will not hesitate to seek her assistance in the near future.”

About: I cared for a dog in a private family for almost two years, where I was fully responsible for her daily needs. I walked her regularly, fed her, gave her baths, and dried her after. This experience taught me to be patient, consistent, and attentive to a dog’s routine and comfort. I treat every dog like my own — with love, care, and respect. I also understand how important it is to follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I live in a cozy, child-friendly home with my 2-year-old child. We also live close to a park, which is perfect for daily walks and outdoor playtime. I’m home most of the day and can give your dog lots of attention, comfort, and care. I will treat your pet like part of my family. In my home, I provide a calm, caring, and safe environment for dogs. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding times, walk schedules, and any special needs. I take the dogs out for regular walks in the nearby park, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they feel relaxed and loved. My home is child-friendly and quiet, so your dog will feel welcome and comfortable during their stay. I treat every pet like part of the family.

“Billie had a great time. Sarah Jane was very accommodating and let me know how Billie was getting on during the day. I will definitely ask her to look after Billie again. Thank you”

About: New users get £15 off their first booking with Rover with code JESSR71897 📣 I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently co-care for our 2 wonderful cocker spaniels with my mum - Lil who is a lively 12-year-old that I’ve raised from a puppy, and Oscar who is a sweet but deeply anxious 7 year who we rescued from a life of trauma from a rescue centre in Wales. Supporting his recovery has taught me so much about patience, gentleness, and tuning into what each dog really needs to feel safe ☺️ I’m currently in between jobs, after stepping away from a high-stress work environment to take a break, reconnect with what I love, and focus on what brings me joy and calm - animals being a huge part of that. Right now, I’ve got all the time in the world to give your dog my full attention, whether that’s long walks, sofa snuggles, or just being a calm, steady presence in their day 🧡 Whether I’m caring for a playful pup or a nervous older dog, I treat them like family - because they are. My approach is grounded, loving, and always tailored to what helps your dog feel their happiest and most relaxed self 🐶 I’m currently in between jobs after stepping away from a high-pressure role, and I’m taking this time to slow down, reset, and focus on the things that bring me joy, animals being a huge part of that. I have plenty of time and flexibility in my days right now, which means your pet will get my full attention and care. Longer term, I plan to return to work in a remote or hybrid role, so dog care will continue to be a natural and regular part of my home routine. I’m used to balancing focus time with dog walks, cuddles, and play breaks — it’s honestly the best way to spend a day! I live in a spacious, pet-friendly flat with no other animals or children, so dogs in my care get a calm and quiet environment with lots of one-on-one attention. While I don’t have a private garden, I’m surrounded by green spaces just a short walk away — including parks and a beautiful riverside path that’s perfect for regular walks and toilet breaks. I co-care for my mum’s two cocker spaniels, Lil and Oscar — they live with her full-time, so they won’t be in the home while I’m caring for other dogs. But if your dog enjoys the company of others, they’re both lovely, gentle, and very sociable — so play dates can absolutely be arranged if that’s something your pup would benefit from! Whether I’m looking after a dog in my own space or staying in their home, I aim to stick closely to their usual routine — from walk times and feeding to any special quirks, meds, or cuddles on the sofa. I want your dog to feel safe, happy, and totally at ease while you’re away — and I’ll always send regular updates so you can relax, too.

“Johanna was incredibly kind and patient as Bubbles sitter. This was the first time I was leaving my cat with anyone so I was slightly worried but Johanna communicated well and often from the meet and greet , allowing me to stay in her space to settle Bubbles in and kept me regularly updated whilst I was away which eased any worries I had. Fantastic individual and would highly recommend! I know Bubbles is in safe hands with Johanna!”

“Andrea looked after our dog Fir overnight while we attended our daughter's wedding. “Darwin and his family were absolutely amazing with our dog Prince! We have left Prince with Darwin's family serval times now. Our dog has epilepsy, so we have to make sure we leave him with a family we can trust, finding Darwin was a real gem! Darwin was really reassuring and made us feel comfortable that Prince was in safe hands. We felt really confident about leaving Prince with him for a extended period and we were able to enjoy our break. We could tell Prince was sad to be back home after the stay and every time we mention Darwin, Prince looks up all excited! Darwin was great in updating us with pictures whilst we were away. He spent time playing with Prince and taking him on walks and playing fetch. Darwin's family and dog Coco are all lovely, Prince always looks like he enjoys his time with them. I would highly recommend Darwin and will be booking him again soon! Thanks for everything Darwin and family :)”

Jess R.
“Jess has been an incredible support with our two cocker spaniels, Lil and Oscar. She’s helped care for Lil since she was a puppy 12 years ago, and when we adopted Oscar, who came to us with significant trauma, Jess was patient, calm, and incredibly intuitive with him from day one. She’s always tuned into what the dogs need, whether that’s play, space, cuddles, or calm structure. They both completely adore her, and I trust her completely with their care. I honestly think they listen to her better than they do to me! Any dog would be lucky to spend time with Jess — she treats every animal with love, kindness, and respect, as if they were her own.”
