About: I studied animals in Writtle college (work based animal studies level 2). I spent a year working in a doggy daycare and a few months working in a greyhound training kennel with over 200 dogs to take care of. As a child, I helped raise many Italian greyhound puppies because my mother used to breed them. I volunteer at a care farm in the Colchester area every Friday. I have dog walking insurance. I am available most of the time apart from Friday daytime and parts of Sunday when I'm at church. Any other commitments in my life can be moved around to fit in with your schedule. I have a 6 ft fenced garden although my flat does not go directly to it. I primarily work as a dog walker but would consider looking after your pets at my home. I do not smoke or vape and take the safety of your dogs very seriously. My flat is a good size and would therefore be suitable for larger dogs as well as small which would be well entertained and let outside regularly as well as walked.

About: I run a dog walking/ boarding and sitting business. I do group and solo walks, whether dogs need exercise or to help socialise them. I’ve walked and boarded dogs over the past 8 years, helping out friends and family whilst they are working, on holiday or busy. I have personally owned, dogs and cats. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds. I help at a local dog agility club and have experience working with dogs in this environment over the past 5 years. I am fully insured, canine first aid trained and have a dog boarding license. I live in stanway Colchester. I am very accommodating and am available at all times to walk, care and board your pets whether this is frequently whilst you work or you are on holiday or busy for the day. I will accommodate walks and care for pets dependant on their needs and owners preferences. I provide a variety of walks, through wooded areas, enclosed fields or open fields. I will accommodate these to the specific dog and arrange this with what the owner would prefer.

About: I've had looked after all kinds of pets from cats to dogs. To birds and lizards, I've trained puppies and also looked after senior dogs. But I've looked after all ages dogs and cats. I have bonded with animals better than people. I currently don't work, so have al lot of free time so have a lot of time for all different type of routines. So will have time for all your fur babies I have a fenced back garden as well as 2 small dogs that are very friendly and easy to get on with. I am able to crate your dog if asked to or need to.

About: I was raised in a family where we always had animals (dogs and cats); I guess my parents tried to teach us from childhood to have duties and responsibilities. NGL - I can’t imagine living without a dog at home since they are so adorable and lovely. I enjoy and love (honestly) being around animals and playing with them. I am used to helping my friends when they travel and still do so; inspired by them, I created this profile ☺️ Currently, I am a masters student at UoE and most of my in person classes are scheduled in a few days or one day a week, so I do spend a lot of time at home reading books and writing assignments, which means I could ensure that your dog will get lots of attention ( if needed ) and care ☺️🫶 Usually my routine starts quite early, I am used to mornings and do go to the gym, out for a run or just walk around Colchester, I don’t drive so need to walk everywhere (that’s a benefit at some point but also not 😁). Fan of nature, live around lot’s of parks where I could walk a dog 🐶 I do understand responsibilities and take my duties seriously, because I understand how hard sometimes is to trust a stranger. As mentioned before I lived with the dogs since I was a small kid (my mother has old pictures in an albums I so promise to upload them just for the record 😆) so it’s not new to me so I am responsible guy. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of breeds of dogs over the years; Dachshunds, Cockapoos, German Shepherds, Bichon Frise, Jack Russell, Shetlands, Labradors, Yorkshire Terriers… and numerous cats! I’m a responsible walker making sure the dogs are happy and in their routine at all times. Numerous experience over the years from just helping family friends walk their dogs or feed their cats all the way up to professional long term house sits all over the world. I work full time from home so walking dogs to their usual routine is easy for me. On the weekends we’ll probably go for significantly longer walks too. I have a garden and am also situated next to wide open spaces perfect for energetic zoomies, play and long walks. In the house they’ll be allowed on the sofas and virtually part of the house. For dogs with a real chew drive all objects at dog height will be put away. In the pet’s home, I have flexible working so is easy for me to fit to the dog’s normal routine. They’ll enjoy cuddles with me throughout the day.

About: Both myself and my husband love animals and dogs in particular. My husband has cared for horses, dogs (Doberman,Lurcher,Spaniel,Labrador and terriers) and cats in the past and for the last 8 years we have been enjoying our wonderful friendly, sociable, Cockapoo Dougal, who is just a delight. He is well balanced ,happy and accepting of other dogs, albeit a little excitable at first. We enjoy walking him daily and enjoy the companionship of another dog being with us. We see this as an integral part of your dogs stay with us, being mindful of course of your preferences and guidance around how best to manage your pet during the walk. We would hope to meet you and your dog prior to their stay and would be happy to receive detailed guidance and instructions around their routine and day to day care. We want your dog to be happy and the same for you too. We are happy to have regular reassuring contact with you whilst you are away. We know what its like to miss Dougal when we are on holiday and a photograph or a text/call can make all the difference. We are both at home all day and have good availability. Our time will be dedicated to making your pet happy and comfortable during their stay. Hopefully they may become a regular visitor. At times we may have another dog boarding for all or part of your pets stay but we would consider the match carefully to ensure that all dogs (including our boy Dougal) are safe and happy at all times . My husband works from home and I have recently taken early retirement so we can both be available as and when needed weekdays or weekends. We are an energetic couple who enjoy walking and playing with our dog and would offer the same care and attention to your dog whilst we are looking after them We have a secure 6ft fenced back garden with a secure high 6ft gate to the front. Having a dog ourselves we are very mindful of safety. We have a front door which opens to a large parking area before meeting the road area. The front door is separated by a hallway door which would always be closed before opening the front door for additional security. Your dog would be on lead before leaving the house. We have a large hatchback car so can transport your dog safely as needed. Our dog is not crated but we can accommodate a crate if this is what your dog is used to. We are happy for your dog to sleep where he is most comfortable.

About: I prefer dogs to the majority of people, I have grown up with a golden retriever and now have a two year old cockapoo who provided they get on is happy to help out entertaining your dog. Typical availability as follows; Boarding - we can do Fridays, Saturday to Sunday most weeks Drops ins/walks - we can do most Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and weekends. Boarding: - We have a fenced garden so we can let them out safety in the morning and evenings for a sniff and go to the toilet. - We do have a travel crate or happy to take your crate if you prefer your dog crated at night. - We have a 2 year Cockapoo who is friendly and playful, he sleeps upstairs with us and we also have separate places for the dogs to sleep and have quite time during the day. - There’s lots of safe places to take them for walks around us on and off lead. Walks/drop ins: - We can walk your dog in it’s own without our Cockapoo - Happy to stay at yours before or after a walk if you’d like - Happy to feed/ play with your dog as needed

About: Being a teacher I have a number of school holidays where I spend a lot of time just at home or in my garden. I would like to change this by becoming a dedicated dog sitter I'm a happy person to be around, and have looked after breeds from Bloodhound, border collie, Border terrier, Great dane, to miniature snouzer I lost my previous dog to cancer last year she lived until she was 12 years old. I haven't chosen to get a new dog and I feel this website will be a good way to get out and about with some lovely dogs. I live in Colchester which has many beautiful parks and ancient woods. About: I have lived in a household with dogs my whole life and have been responsible for walking, feeding, bathing, and showing them a lot of love. I adore playing with dogs, being responsible for a furry friend is a very fulfilling task. I work as a singer/songwriter. I gig a few nights a month and work a lot from home therefore I have plenty of time to walk and supervise your fur baby. I understand how daunting it can be to leave you pet with another person, so anything to make sure your pet is comfortable, safe, nurtured, entertained and loved at all times.

About: I have had dogs for as long as I can remember. I currently have a 2 1/2 yr old black lab girl named Pippa who is the sweetest most loving dog. My previous pup lived till the ripe old age of 15, and I cared for her right up until her last days; this provided me with a lot of experience when caring for fragile and elderly dogs who need more attention. Whilst living in Cyprus I fostered lost of puppies and vulnerable dogs with behavioural issues - I kept dogs anywhere between 1 week to 3 months long. All dogs were fully trained by myself before they went to their forever homes. I am a junior doctor at the general hospital. I mainly have weekends off so this is when my main availability will be. I will do my best to work around your needs to fit with my schedule. When working I have a dog walker who walks my lab. But when I am off work I take dogs for a daily walk as I live near the national park; I also provide enrichment for dogs with snuffle and lick matts and regular play. Dogs will always be with me as I spend my time mainly downstairs, except when sleeping. I provide 1-2 hourly toilet breaks.
