About: Hi! I’ve taken care of my own & loved ones’ dogs & cats for my entire life. I work around farmed animals daily animal rescue & am a vegan animal-rights activist. I have experience with providing enrichment and basic positive reinforcement training. I am calm & empathetic when it comes to making sure animals are comfortable. I’m happy to answer your questions to make sure I’m a great fit for your needs! I’m typically available all day on Mondays and Tuesdays with availability before 9am and after 5pm Wed-Sun. Starting in December, I will have increased availability outside of this more regularly. I have house sat at homes and apartments, with and without yards. About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. I have a few set shifts during the week, but for the most part I make my own hours and I have time to be available pretty much whenever I am needed!
About: I grew up on a farm so I've always been around animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, etc. Animals don't ask for much so we should try to give them the best life possible. I am not afraid to get dirty and clean up if your animal has an accident. I have a lot of availability right now. I don't have a 9 to 5 job so I can try to fit walks or visits to your schedule. I will double check any safety concerns you have. Whether your dog can be in yard by themselves or if you car is allowed outside at all. If I'm not sure of something I will always ask you first before I do anything.
About: Growing up I’ve always had a pet, whether it was a dog, cat, bearded dragon, hamster, bunny, horses, chickens, etc. The past experience I have is from ages 6 weeks-18years old. I’m up for any task and have no trouble walking dogs who pull. I use a harness for one of my dogs and he is always comfortable walking with me. I currently work full-time but have a flexible schedule. I have three dogs and 2 cats of my own but have help with them. Can always adjust schedule as needed. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
