About: I’ve grown up with and had dogs for most of my life, and have taken care of cats for the last ten years. I currently have three cats (Ollie, Nell, and Poppy). I took vet assisting classes when I was younger and also have experience working with larger farm animals. I currently work remote full-time from 7:00AM to 3:00PM, but I have the flexibility to bring my laptop with me if extended animal care is needed. I do also go to school part-time in Charlotte, Monday through Thursday. In my home, I have an unfenced backyard I can use for walking and I also have a large dog crate. Because I have cats, I do require that any dog(s) be friendly with cats. If doing an overnight stay at my house, it would also need to be on the weekend (Friday through Sunday) where I would be home all day. In a client’s home, I always follow whatever guidelines are put in place by the owner so the animal(s) can stay in their usual routine with as little disruption as possible.
About: Ive had pets since i was 7 years old. From dogs to hermit crabs ive been taking care of them for years. My neighbors rely on me when they go out of town and they need their pets taken care of. I’ve also watched friends’ and family members’ pets while they’ve been away, making sure they’re fed, happy, comfortable, and getting lots of love and attention. I’m currently in college Monday through Thursday, but I’m usually done with classes around 12:30–1 PM! That leaves me with plenty of time in the afternoons to check in on your fur babies, give them some love, and make sure they’re taken care of. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that works best for both of us! 🐾 I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away! I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’ll do my best to stick to what they’re used to and follow any instructions you leave for me. I’ll make sure they have fresh water, food when needed, a clean space, and plenty of attention and playtime. I’ll also make sure doors and gates are secure and keep a close eye on them to help keep them safe. I know how much our pets mean to us, so I’ll treat yours with the same love and care I give my own!
