About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid. Experience with giving medication to senior pets. I myself had my babies for almost 17 years before they crossed the rainbow bridge. Currently now I have a rescue Poodle/Bichon mix who loves to play with all dogs. He is trained. I’m able to provide same disciplined environment for your animals as well if that’s something you are looking for. Otherwise I’m certain they will get lots of play time with Benji as he loves to run around the back yard and play. I am currently a stay at home mom. I’m available any time and any day . I was full time as RN but started a family and for the immediate future I won’t be returning to work for awhile! I am home just about 24/7 with the occasional errand to run. We have a fenced yard. I have a large kennel and small kennel that can be used if you need your pet in crate under my care.

“Amy and Scott are extremely accommodating and is a pleasure to work with. I felt safe and comfortable knowing that my dog Knox will be well taken care of from the moment we met. I would highly recommend them to supply all the love and care for anyone’s loved ones.”

“Our Buddy LOVES Rochelle, and she is very attentive and loving to our Buddy. I STRONGLY recommend Rochelle to anyone in the area looking for a reliable and trustworthy person to care for their fur babies.”

“Our dogs seemed to enjoy their stay with Jenny and her family. Jenny gave us several updates throughout the day and was prompt to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We liked that there were other dogs around for our dogs to play with during their stay.”

“My pups had a great time. Very professional setup, each dog has their own space, plenty of land to run and play, sitter sent updates and photos throughout stay, 10/10 experience. Thank you guys!”

“Jackie was responsive throughout the process. She took such good care of Amelie and updated us during her stay. We extended her time and Jackie was accommodating to our schedule. Highly recommend and we will definitely use her for future stays.”

“This was Archie’s first time at any kind of daycare. I wanted him to go to play and get his energy out and he did just that at Amanda’s! She has a huge back yard for him to run around. She sent me pictures and videos throughout the day. It seemed like he had such a good time with her kids and dogs! He’ll be going back to Amanda’s regularly!”

About: "I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. I genuinely enjoy walking, playing with, and understanding what they’re trying to communicate. Years ago, I attended puppy training classes with my beloved German Shepherd, which taught me valuable training techniques that I continue to appreciate today." I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for your beloved pet any day of the week! I can board them, do drop-in visits, doggy day care and walking. I have a fenced in large acre plus back yard for them to play and run in. Also, I have a large crate if needed for care.

About: I have cared for pets for 30+ years. That includes breeding, aiding in the birthing process, caring for puppies, training, caring for senior dogs, and caring through the last days of their lives. The full range of caring in all stages of life. I currently work remote position making myself available during the day. Allowing room to tend to the needs of the furry friends and giving ample time for playing with all sorts of toys! With a fenced backyard and a doggie door there are plenty of chances for stepping into the grass or basking in the sun. Taking 1-3 walks during time of care depending on age and energy demand. Lots of lovings and play for healthy dogs! I have multiple nap spots and an abundance of toys and bones to keep busy and happy. Keeping stimulating toys ready to aid in making the day interesting!

About: I am a work from home pet parent! I have been a foster mom for local rescue groups for 10 years now. I love all animals, but small dogs and senior/special needs dogs are my speciality! I love older and special needs dogs because they are often abandoned to shelters alone and scared. It gives me a sense of purpose to provide them a resting place in their final days. I treat all animals that come to my home as I would my own. I don’t mind administering medicine if needed or whatever your pet needs from me. I am free Mon.-Fri. after 3pm. (I work at school from 7am-2:40pm.) I am totally free on weekends and holidays to devote to your pet’s care. I have a big fenced yard and my own senior pets to keep yours company. I always go outside with my dogs and also have plenty of windows to see them outside. I have a dog door as well if they like to use a dog door. I have kennels and play pens on hand if needed for your pet.

“Genella was great with our dog Mica! She was incredibly kind and pleasant to speak with. We are so thankful to her for being able to welcome our girl into her home for the time needed! I highly recommend her. We will book again!”

About: Hello, I have taken care of pets for about 18 years, as a veterinary technician and treat them like family. I appreciate all animals and have been a reliable pet sitter for many of years. I have time to play and spend time with your companions. I can check on your furkids multiple times a day and take them on walks, or even provide additional services such as household chores. I do try to stick to your routine as close as possible. I do allow pets to stay in my home. I can spend time with them inside or out. If they need to be crated I can provide them a place to stay. I can offer them a yard to play in or take them out on a walk.

“Cassie watched our 1 year old pup for daycare this week and he had a blast! He came home completely worn out both days. I had to drop off early and pick up later in the afternoon so he was with her for several hours each day and she was so accommodating! She sent pics and an update of his day each day. He made himself at home the very first day and she was so sweet and patient! We look forward to working with her more in the future!”

“Larry is the best we've had!! He worked with our long days and our dogs anxieties. He was great with them and us also. He took them for walks and let them roam the house as if it were theirs. His dogs were nice and friendly and enjoyed playing with ours. Every night when we picked them up he had already fed them and they were tired, but the next day they were ready to go back for another round. I would highly recommend him and wish everyone was as good!!!”

About: I have been involved in the Basenji breed for 30 years and am an AKC Breeder of Merit of Basenjis. My dogs show quite successfully in conformation and participate in lure coursing and barn hunt among other things. I have also worked in the the Vet Med profession for about as long as I've been involved in Basenjis. The majority of my career has been in Emergency and Critical Care- first as a Technician and later as a Practice Manger- but I also spent a number of years in Day Practice where I was not only a Technician but also the Kennel Manager in charge of overseeing the boarding facility. I feel all these experiences, plus my day-to-day care and management of 20 horses, make me an excellent choice when you're looking for a person to entrust your furry family member with. I have the background to be able to recognize and deal with a medical emergency should one arise, while at the same time having the knowledge of what it takes to keep dogs happy and healthy in a clean and enriched environment. Steadfast Farm is a working farm. We raise critically endangered Hackney Horses and Select Hackney Sport Horses. As such, I am home every day pretty much 24/7 other than running the occasional errands or two. Working on the farm allows me to be very hands on with my boarding clients- I offer pick-up and delivery for example- and allows for your pets to have plenty of structured, well managed play time throughout the day. A general day looks like this: 7-8am wake up! Your pet is taken outside for potty and a quick play before breakfast. 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm depending on the weather, your pet will either get to spend time in one of the play yards or can hang out in the house with me for some games and enrichment. 6-7pm dinner time and another potty break. 10-11pm Final play and potty break. I have multiple safely fenced yards. The majority of the fencing is 6' privacy fence and/or 6' no climb wire. Each yard has shade available as well as enrichment activities like swimming pools (weather permitting) and designated dig spots. There are also 2 smaller pens inside 2 of the yards for toy breeds and young puppies. These pens also have shade available and enrichment opportunities. The perimeter of the area surrounding the house and yards where the dogs are kept is also fenced with a combination of 6' chain link and 6' pipe and welded wire horse fencing. Inside the house, dogs are kept in size appropriate crates (or in playpens if they prefer) when they are not outside playing or loose in the house with me. Coming soon- I will be offering private cottages for dogs who will be more comfortable in a home like setting without other dogs. The cottages will be furnished with a dog bed and comfy chair and a TV for watching DogTV. The cottages will be temperature controlled and have a doggy door for access during the day to a private, covered outdoor run. I am a certified Games Based trainer as well so I can offer additional training for your dog while they are boarding. Concept training/Games Based training is science based, Positive Reinforcement training used by Veterinary Behaviorists, leading professional trainers, and international dog sport participants with outstanding results! Plus it's fun for you and your dog!! I also have extensive experience in isolation protocols and am very conscientious about cleaning and sanitizing yards and kennels throughout the day. With the current outbreak of an as yet unknown canine disease- this becomes hugely important. All dogs booking stays will be evaluated for risk of exposure prior to finalizing reservations as it is important to me all dogs remain healthy while staying at Steadfast Farm.

Mindy V.
“We took a 2 week long vacation last summer. I was a nervous wreck considering I'm an absolute nut job when it comes to my fur babies! I was so nervous leaving my sweet pupperoni behind as I embarked on the longest vacation I've ever taken. Thank goddess for Mindy! She was so great with our little pee-wee and was so patient with him, considering he was as nervous as we were about being gone for so long. She is incredibly patient, loving, and well versed on pet care! She truly treated him as if he was her own fur baby. She also sent us regular updates as well as promptly responded to all of my anxiety fueled messages. Mindy is the only person I would ever trust with my sweet boy! She's not just a pet sitter, she's aunt Mindy in our household!”
