About: I have been walking and caring for pets for 2 years now, and it has been an awesome experience. I have been around pets my entire life and have always wanted a career that allowed me to meet and take care of different types of animals. I am reliable and honest which are important qualities when leaving your pet with someone. I will care for each pet like they are my own and will do whatever the owner needs to feel comfortable leaving there pet with me! I am 35 years old, live in Lewiston, ME. In addition to walking and caring for pets for the past 2 years, I have owned two different dogs over the past 15 years which further stamped my interest in developing a career involving animals! I work across the street from my home and can routinely go back and forth to make sure there is consistent care for all pets My home has access to side streets that allow for consistent walks. About: I’ve had animals in my house sense I was born and have had a role in taking care of them for as long as I can remember. I now have my own very spoiled creatures I’m working and going to school but I’m home a lot to I’m mostly looking for something to do in my spare time for a little extra cash Currently living with my parents while I finish school. My room is small but there is a big open yard for my pup to play in and my cats enjoy watching the wildlife from inside the house

I've been walking the neighborhood dogs for over 2 years now I work part time so I have plenty of time to play and care for your pups and other animals if needed. About: I have many years of experience with cats, all types of personalities. Dogs as well, frequent walking. I do have 4 cats of my own :) I work 3 days a week, not a set schedule, but usually have open availability the other 4 days during the weekdays/weekends. I have a job that requires taking call, so there are times I could have to go into work during a scheduled time, majority a very flexible schedule :) I do not take requests for services in my own home. I am able to spend the nights in your home as needed for cats and dogs

About: I have taken care of various different fur babies my whole life. From my grandma’s elderly diabetic cat, to many little baby kittens. Making animals feel safe and cared for makes me feel so fulfilled. I also have been bathing and doing regular grooming since I was old enough to understand how to. I’ve taken in strays and helped regime them or reunite them. I also took in and nursed back to health a kitty that I witnessed get hit by a car. Some special skills that I possess would be I’m very patient loving person who has a very big heart when it comes to animals and I can’t wait to have a future caring for them. I work part-time and do an online education program I’m pretty much free for the rest of day. Currently working on getting my license so I can be more reliable with transportation to get there. About: My fourth birthday I asked for a dog, and continued to do so every birthday thereafter. Growing up my family was not in a position to have a pup, so I found every other way to engage with them. I walked family and friends dogs, pet sat, and read all the books about dogs and cats I could find in my little school library. As an adult I have been graced with the opportunity to rescue my own pup, and have since learned a whole slew of new skills and knowledge. I have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety, reactivity, nervousness, and anxiety. (Let's just say my rescue experience really gave me a crash course in how trauma can effect dogs well after they are safe in a home). I have done hours of research (and application of that research) into how to effectively train and respond to behaviors. I personally prescribe to a positive reinforcement system and 'protecting their bubble' dual training method. I would love to meet you and your pup, and find out how I can best help to meet your dogs needs for a happy and healthy life! I'm currently working part time summer hours. I work in behavioral health care for kids and have plenty of time available to care for your pet! My dog is a rescue and we put in time training every day to help build her confidence and trust in the world. She's very nervous of other people and dogs, so unless it seems like a really great fit personality wise between our dogs, I will love providing your pup love, walks, and engagement in your home or out in the community! I prescribe to positive reinforcement training and protecting a dogs bubble. I would love to hear about your dog and that they need. You are their expert and I am here to provide you both support how ever you may need it. If your dogs is like mine and doesn't get along with other dogs, I know lots of places to walk and adventure where it's easy to avoide other pups and also have strategies use if we do come across them such as the Banana method, and training a "center" position, and skills and drills to do before a walk to ensure a dogs engagement and focus is on me before the walk.

About: Experience with raising and training puppies, deaf dogs and high drive hearding dogs. I Know lots of brain teasers for mental stimulation. From walks, hikes and playing to training and games, I love spending my free time with my four legged friends. Weekends i am free when not taking care or spending quality time with my own pup. I like morning playtimes and long trail or town walks. Always respect the owners wishes for their pet and any restrictions or limitations the dog might have. Having a fearful pup I understand the need to keep environments calm!

About: I have had my rescue chigi for 13. years, my rescue lab mix for 6, and I have been working as a dog walker since 2017. I have joined Rover within the last year. I have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and administering medicine to dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds. I love to make them feel comfortable, loved, and well taken care of. If it is raining or excessively cold, I am happy to take your dog for a shorter walk to ensure they relieve him/herself and come in and give them lots of belly rubs and attention! I am happy to meet you and your dog ahead of time in order to make everyone feel confident and spend as much time as is needed to make your pet feel at ease! I am usually available every weekday, and all day on weekends! I currently am remote, working from home full time. I can usually accommodate requests on the weekends as well as weekdays. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since 2014 and have been actively caring for them since 2015. I love both cats and dogs and am very familiar with playtime, feeding, and bedtime routines. I have a flexible schedule at my full-time job. So I would have to compare my schedule to make sure I have your pets care as a priority. Depending on routine, I'm okay with walks, outdoor playtime and any other needs you have for your furry friend. I'm not allowed dogs in my home. However, before my move I had a dog run and a big yard where my dog at the time could just run and feel like a puppy again.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid, people tend to come to me to watch theirs when out of town or busy I currently am in between jobs, so I will have plenty of time for these animals. About: I used work at a cat hospital and run my own dog grooming service. I also used to be a kennel attendant at Scyrz Kennel and Cattery. I am experienced with all animals, dog, cat, reptiles, small animals, birds, etc. I love them all, and I will give them the love and care they need. I attend school with the intent of becoming a graphic designer. Since I used to be a vet tech I know how to take care of pets and all their needs, even when they are sick or injured. I can walk them at the local park, and am flexible with any special care they need. I can provide any grooming services needed as well. I can bathe and shave them and clip their nails, and clean ears for an extra price. I will make sure your pets get the love and care they need, I will be attentive to their needs constantly. I can give pet care at anytime through out the day, I am a stay at home mom. I am very flexible with my schedule. If you have a specific schedule I will follow that schedule you and update you on your pet. I know how to keep an animal well taken care of and attentive of their needs. I used to be a vet tech and I am aware of any health issues and able to take care of them when injured or sick. I have 2 dogs that are very playful and will gladly play with them. About: I'm a farmer's daughter and was raised by animals. My grandfather trained wild animals (the newspaper clipping) and fostered that passion in me. A relaxed, healthy individual perceives and interacts with the world differently than a stressed one. I was formerly an emergency room veterinary technician. As much as I love it, I'm no longer physically able to be a vet tech. Caring for them as a sitter brings me joy and satisfaction. I travel with a big Sitter Bag of Tricks. Puzzles, snuffles, licky mats, a potpourri of balls, frisbees and leashes for the pups. I try to balance that out for them between love and fun. Their care is determined on an individual basis. I care for a variety of species and each is their own person. Learning what they love and sometimes learning new things is half the fun!

“Recently Aleisha did dog walking, check ins for over a 6 week period. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. Again we found her to be a true pro and very reliable and respectful. We would have no problem using her again and would recommend her services to anyone who would ask. As a matter of fact, we will be using Aleisha for occasional walks to keep in touch with Sadie and keep their bonds intact. Just such a pleasure to have someone as reliable and trustworthy for both us and our pets.”

About: I have 4 dogs of my own that mean the absolute world to me. I have my cat Miles, who I’ve had for 9 years. I currently live with a friend that does doggy daycare and boarding at home which means I’m interactive with dogs both mine and others all the time! I also have experience with dog and cat bathing! I work as a nursing assistant full-time.My work schedule is changing at the moment, but don’t hesitate to send me a chat and we can work something out!
