About: I’ve watched multiple of my family members dogs, ranging from big to little dogs. I enjoy spending time with animals and learning more about them. I also enjoy walking dogs around the neighborhood or to the park. I’m currently taking care of my grandma so I don’t really have a set schedule. So I’m always willing to help out. I have a dachshund and she is very nice towards animals and people so if I were to house sit she would also be very welcoming.

About: Hi! I go by Kat and since I was ten I've been around animals, from living on a farm with three Great Pyrenees, four Australian Shephards, two Pugs, and two chihuahuas and numerous litters and a cat rescue of twenty-six cats to my current situation of three dogs and six cats. I have also owned rats, mice, rabbits, and a gecko, so I have experience with all sorts of pets. Aside from what I own, I have cared for cockatiels, doves,geckos, a lorikeet, great danes, and pittbulls. I also worked at a vet office for a year before I started college, and seven months at a cat hospital in Maine, along with six months of professional cat boarding. Currently I work part time night shifts so I cannot do any drop ins after 9pm or before 8am. I work part time nights only and am available all weekend, Friday through Sunday, full time, so I will have plenty of time to ensure your pets will be well cared for! I am very flexible with how to care for pets, from crate training to leashed walks or free roaming. My animals are a mixture of them all, crate trained when guests are over and free-roaming during the day when I'm outside with them.

About: What sets me apart is that I’ve had experience caring for pets since I was 9, so being around animals has always been a big part of my life. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I always make sure to follow instructions carefully, keep pets safe, and give them the care and attention they’re used to. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and different routines, and I try to be calm and gentle so pets feel comfortable around me. Pet care fits well into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time with animals. I’m able to make time for drop-ins, feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving pets attention while their owners are away. I’m responsible with schedules and always make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely so they feel comfortable and cared for. In a client’s home, I keep things simple and consistent. I follow the pet’s usual routine, including feeding, water, litter box care, walks, and playtime. I’m respectful of the home and make sure pets are comfortable while their owner is away.

My friends, family, and neighbors all trust me with caring for their pets whether that be through walking, feeding, and overall care. I am reliable and attentive, making sure everyone feels safe. “She arrived a little early so we could go over Ollie’s routine and instructions, which I really appreciated. She was also very friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She followed instructions, such as giving Ollie his enrichment toy and taking him outside. During the visit, there was an accident in the playpen that was not communicated to me and wasn’t fully cleaned up, and I also noticed Ollie’s water dish was empty. I appreciated her kindness and willingness to help, but I would have liked clearer communication about how the visit went. That said, she was good with Ollie and he really liked her.”

I am passionate about animals and want your animal to have as close to home experiences as they can while there here for there stay. They will have water and food 24/7. Frequent potty breaks. Most importantly non-stressful environment. I’ve worked at kennels and most dogs are scared, it’s loud, they are caged for 95% of there stay, with very few/short potty break and left unattended. This is not what I would want for my pups and I’m here for yours to not have to have this experience either. I do have two fur baby’s of my own who will be there to be your pets best friend while your away (fun.loving Husky/Gentle Great Pyrenees ). I want to make a place you know when there here there family! In the event they do not fancy my pups there is no need to worry I have accommodations for this too! Please give me a call with any questions or concerns you may have. I know how special your pet is to you as mine are my baby’s and I want to have a place for you to feel they are getting the care they deserve! I am home at all times so your pet is never left alone. Get up at 6am potty and feed. There is a doggie door so they can go in and out as they please for most of the day but I close this at night for there security. Fed again around 3:30pm or I can follow any instructions on feeding you prefer. Around 8:30pm we are in for the night. I care for your pets the same as I do my own. They are allowed on furniture and are spoiled with love and affection. We have a 60’x25’ oasis for pups that do not want to interact with mine and need separate living quarters while they stay. We are still very much around as it is part of the home and we hang out there a lot. There a door that opens up right to the fenced area where they go on potty breaks and have fun outdoors completely enclosed and my dogs won’t be allowed out while they are out. There’s always a tv on and I will have it on the dog channel for them. There’s couches for them to lay on and plenty of space to run and play. Ow if they do all become best pup friends well they will have the run of the house and play a lot! Someone is home all the time so your pup is never left alone. I offer drop off at 6am which is if your just dropping off. I have a family and to avoid them being disturbed you will only be able to drop off this early, not come in. If you’d like to come in it will have to be later in the day. Pick up: latest is 9pm unles otherwise confirmed. If you need earlier drop off you will have to schedule the night before. I have 2 fence in portions of the yard. Pups are never crated they live with us just like they are part of the family. I do have more than one dog staying at a time rover does not have an option to change this which I previously only took one client. I only take on dogs who are friendly with others and friendly with my children.

About: I was a care worker for most of life and had a career change at 25. I have done my share of taking care of the elder and animals. I have taken care of my own animals and others over my life time. I'm back in the Altoona area after the military. I was also known as the "crazy cat lady" during my most recent military deployment to the Middle East. I helped take care of the feral cats around camp by reporting new cats and taking care of one particular. I am a full-time student and am available after 5 pm and weekends. I update my schedule regularly for days I will not be available. I have a cat with chronic UTIs. I spend the extra time and money to make sure she is taken care of so I will make sure your animals receive the same care and love she does.
