“Anji was wonderful with both of our dogs who are never in daycare or boarding, so this was a new situation for them and for us. Anji made it easy! We’re so grateful to Anji and will definitely be rebooking with her.”

About: Dog care Experience 🐾 Caring for dogs has always been a meaningful part of my life. I grew up with a family dog and have spent years looking after pups of all sizes, personalities, and needs. As a dedicated dog lover, I treat every furry guest like one of my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for at all times. I do have 3 fur babies of my own. So with each new client we introduce 1 dog at a time and when I feel comfortable they will be all together under supervision of course. My home is truly a dog-loving environment. My fiancé is a mobile dog groomer and together we share a passion for providing top-quality care. Playtime and activity are an essential part of every dog’s stay. Whether it’s zoomies in the yard, interactive play, or fun, energizing walks, I make sure each pup stays happy, stimulated, and engaged. I also have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs and those with special needs, including administering medications such as eye drops. I understand the importance of patience, gentleness, and attentiveness, especially for older pets who need a little extra comfort. With me, your dog will be in safe, loving hands—because they’re not just pets, they’re family ❤️ I’m a stay-at-home dog mom, which means I’m home full-time and able to provide constant care, attention, and supervision for your pup during daycare or boarding. I do share my home with my 3 sweet fur babies. They’re friendly but can take a little time to warm up to new people and dogs. Once you drop off your pup I will allow them to sniff and explore throughout the whole entire house, front yard and backyard/garden. Then when they seem to get settled I start introduction with 1 dog at a time for about 10-15 minutes then repeat with all the dogs I have. Next step is bring 2 pups out at a time to play together but mostly its just alot of Sniffing lol Creating a calm, safe, and loving environment is very important to me, and I take the time to ensure every dog feels secure and welcomed. Your pup will be treated like part of Our Family while they’re here 🐶❤️ Home & Care Details 🐾 I have a nice, fully fenced yard where your pup can safely play, explore, and burn off energy. My three fur babies are always around to help keep your dog active, social, and engaged throughout the day. Daily activity is a priority here—we’ll enjoy plenty of playtime in the yard along with one or two walks, depending on your dog’s needs and energy level. To help keep your pup comfortable and on their normal routine, I kindly ask that you: Pre-portion your dog’s food for their stay Include their usual feeding schedule Provide enough food for the entire visit Give clear, detailed instructions for any medications, if needed This helps me provide consistent, attentive care and ensures your dog feels right at home 🐶❤️ Also at drop off time I ask that you call or send me a message letting me know when you are 20 minutes away and when you arrive. I will meet you and your fur baby on the front porch and I will take over care from there ♡♡♡

“Jacklyn was great! Sent lots of (very cute!) pictures, walked McCoy, and made sure he got along with her own dog. McCoy was always happy to see her (and her dog) when we dropped him off. Jacklyn was also very responsive to us (e.g. when we had to modify our arrival/pick up time) which made our lives very easy.”

“Finding Adelle was a gift and perfect match it seems. Nearby, knowledgeable, professional, responsible and kind and she loves to hike with the dogs too. Lucky dog and owner. Thank you!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, mostly Pit Bulls, and have always been comfortable caring for and being around them. I also cared for my own dog for over a year after getting her when she was around 6 months old. She had a difficult past and had already had puppies at a very young age, so she needed extra patience, trust, and consistency. I worked with her and taught her basic commands, and she became very responsive to me. I’m currently available for pet care any day and at flexible times throughout the week. Starting August 31, I’ll be attending school Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Outside of those hours, I’ll still have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and other pet care needs. My school schedule is consistent each day, so I’m able to plan my availability reliably around it. I treat every pet in my care like they are my own. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. I make sure they are fed on their normal schedule, have fresh water, get their walks and exercise, and have plenty of playtime and attention. I also enjoy playing with their favorite toys and getting to know their personality and routine. I understand that some pets may take a little time to warm up to someone new, so I’m patient and let them get comfortable with me at their own pace.
“Thank you Joyce for watching Jax at the last minute. Joyce treated my dog like her own. Jax got along well with her dogs and was comfortable being there. I will definitely have Jax over again.”

“Our young husky mix loved racing other dogs in Adrienne's fenced pasture. And Adrienne was very helpful when I could not find our reservation on Rover We enjoyed the 10 photos, and could see that Thea's need for active canine companions l was well met.”

“I always say, if my dogs come home and sleep for hours, that means they had a blast with their sitter, and that is exactly what happened. Kim was great, she sent photos of the dogs, she was very nice and very responsive. I will use her again to care for my two dogs.”

“If I could give Manish 6 stars I would! He agreed to watch my two Malinois last minute, one of whom is a bit reactive. He prioritized a meet’n’greet to make sure all dogs felt comfortable; I was at ease instantly seeing him work the dogs through calming exercises to get to know each other. My reactive pup calmed down within minutes and ended up having a great time with his dog, Odin. He sent photos during their doggy day care visit and the pups came home happy and tired. Definitely recommend, I will book again!”

“Silvana is incredible. She took care of our 5 month old pup. He gave her kisses when he left. Silvana cares so much about dogs and I can tell how much she cared about rupee. Silvana made me feel so comfortable on our trip.”

“Cheri has watched our pup twice and both times he’s come home content and ready for a little shut eye - it must be the nice, long walk in the forest. :) … Thank you for taking care of our somewhat anxious, excitable pup and for the excellent communication. Looking forward to more stays!!”

About: I grew up playing and taking care of my two dogs, feeding them, bathing them and loving them are some of my favorite and most cherished moments from my childhood. After many years of feeling the void of not having any pets around we recently adopted an absolutely adorable puppy (lab retriever mix) named Hershey. I also used to dog sit for my aunt’s senior dog (Lhasa apso) everytime they needed help. I’m a stay at home dog pawrent to my adorable puppy Hershey, usually home most of the time so your dog will be well taken care of. We have a fully fenced moderate sized backyard and also have an almost 8 month old very friendly chocolate lab retriever mixed puppy to keep you fur child company. You’ll get very frequent updates about your fur child.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
