In this job I had to clean out their litter box, feed them their desired food, and also give medicine to the ones that needed it. About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I have experience taking care of puppies. I have done house sitting with puppies and taken dogs of all ages on walks. I would love to come walk your best friend! I am off work for the summer so my availability has opened up! My calendar is up to date with days that I will be out of town. As a middle schooler, I was the neighborhood pet sitter; if anyone needed extra help with their pets, I was the one to call! At home, I make sure that my cat gets enrichment play for at least an hour a day. This consists of chasing yarn, bouncy balls, and birdwatching (we have a nest of wrens on the railing of our porch, and she loves watching them fly around!) I believe that all pets should be active and entertained throughout the day, and that it’s good for their overall wellness. At previous homes, I would play with pets when they expressed interest in playing, but also remain calm when they were in a sleepy mood. I make sure to always respect pet’s boundaries and keep them as content as possible.

“Jean saved the day for us! Our house flooded six months ago and we were forced to move into an apartment and our dogs couldn’t live with us. Theough the most stressful time of my life Jean has been an absolute angel sent feom heaven! I did a have to worry about Ralphie and Chase because she was so nurturing and attentive to them! They slept with her in bed, played with her on her couches and roamed free in her huge fenced backyard! Of course at the beginning I was nervous to leave my digs with someone else as I am very particular and worry about my okder dog getting his medicine and the dogs feeling loved and happy. I also worried about them getting out and running away. When I showed up to her house for the meet and greet all my worried melted away (which isn’t easy because I am a pretty high strung person). She had a well thought out layout that made it impossible for the dogs to get out and you cohld tell that she takes her job very seriously! She pays attention to detail and is very particular about the other dogs she allows at the house. She has a six dog maximum and had doggy meet and greets prior to acceting dogs to ensure they all play well! Tomorrow we are picking them up and I feel ashamed to say she is probaby a better dog mom than i am and they will most likely be really sad not to be with Jean and her family! I cannot stress enought how attentive Jean is and such an amazing communicator! I can mesage her any time day or night and she always responds bery promptly! You just can’t find someone like her- I really mean it! She is incredible and her home is so welcomong and peaceful! It is like a dog retreat where they can play and be loved 24/7! It my dogs coukd talk I am sure they would thank me for chosing her!”
