About: I’ve taken care of pets for years and grew up around them. I love animals and am glad to take care of them while their owners are busy. I have a pretty flexible schedule and have a lot of time to take care of your pets even if it’s at the last minute. I am used to many different pets and let them come to me and smell me to get used to me. I can walk them, and put them back in their crate.

“Lindi is wonderful and we couldn't be happier with our first Rover experience! Our boys love her and we love knowing they're getting lots of attention when we can't be at home. We will definitely be booking with her again... and again... and again! Thank you!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats. I’ve watched dogs for friends/family/neighbors from shihtzus to Bernese mountain dogs. I’m not at a place in my life to have my own dog yet, but am more than happy to take care others like my own. I’m working part-time as a kids ski instructor mostly on Fridays/Saturdays. Otherwise my week is free and I can come over anytime. On Fridays/Saturdays I’ll be available around 5pm on. I cannot bring dogs to my rental home but please just let me know your expectations on how you want your dog to be taken care of and I can adapt. I am not one to come in and try to change your dogs routine/habits.

About: I have a unique background with horses, farm animals, and dogs that want to walk all day in the forest. I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered kittens, boarded cats, and stayed with dogs up to 200 pounds. I am available overnight for weekends, nights, and extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7am. I am currently available most days and nights due to my online graduate program. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

“Kyley was an amazing sitter. She went above and beyond and even helped with bringing in a refrigerator that was delivered at the bottom of my outdoor stairwell. You can tell she really cares and loves animals. I will definitely book her again in the future!”

About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Please feel free to reach out to me before booking my care and I will answer any and all questions! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

About: I am excited to offer my services as a dedicated and compassionate pet sitter and dog walker. With a genuine love for animals and experience caring for a variety of pets, I am confident in my ability to provide attentive and reliable care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Having grown up with pets and cared for friends’ and neighbors’ animals, I understand how important it is for pet owners to have peace of mind when they are away. Whether it’s a leisurely walk around the neighborhood, playtime, feeding, or administering medications, I am committed to ensuring pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I pride myself on punctuality, responsibility, and clear communication with pet owners to keep them updated on their furry friends’ wellbeing. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets to discuss how I can help make life easier for you and more enjoyable for them. I am a registered EMT currently working for boreal as a Mountain Patroller. I have many hobbies after work and hanging out with awesome animals is one of them that keeps me grounded and looking forward to the future. I take in to account all of your pets needs and wants. I understand each of our four legged friends have different personalities and expectations their humans have for them as well. And I do my best to make that happen for all parties involved.

About: I have 2 Crested Geckos, and have lived with 4 different friends who owned cats. Within the last year I have walked coworkers dogs countless times and have dog-sat for them as well. I have pet-sat for coworkers in their homes from one night, up to one month. I have also volunteered at the Truckee Humane Society for about a year as well. I have flexible but consistent work hours that allow me to create a routine to take care of your pets. I love going for walks with dogs as well as hanging out and giving both dogs and cats the pets they deserve. I care for pets based off of what they need and what they ask of me. I listen to body language to understand what they need. I am content giving pets their space, or giving them all of the pets they want. I also pay extra attention to bathroom cues to limit accidents within the house.

“Karen was awesome! We are grateful she was able to drop in and walk/feed our little guy. Our dog was nervous at first, but she stuck it out and he finally warmed to her. We appreciated her persistence and he ended up loving her. She will be our first call when we need help again. Highly recommend!”

About: I've had my own dogs, cats, horses and chickens. I've been pet sitting for a few years now. I try to go on as many walks as possible and even bring them to work if the family is ok with it. I love animals of all ages! I have a full-time job but I can work from home 3 days a week. So I have plenty of free time to go out for walks or simply let them outside. I will make sure they get the attention they need. If they are outside I won't leave them out after dark on their own. Lock all doors for other furry visitors. Make sure they have a comfortable bed. Sometimes sleep together if it's ok with the parents. Have lots of toys and time for walks and play.

About: I've had a dog since I was born and truly believe they are better than people. I've had a cockapoo, a couple of king charles cavaliers, a cocker spaniel, a doberman, and my current terrier mix I rescued, Paisley. I take care of dogs as if they are my own, and there's nothing I love more than coming home to my own pup. I'll send you photos and update texts while you're gone so you know your pup is doing great! Your dog will enjoy outdoor adventures, hikes, and couch time with plenty of tummy scratches. In all honesty, I'm offering my services just because I love dogs so much, and being an owner myself, know all too well the nervousness that comes with leaving your "child" behind when you go out of town. I promise I will bring that sense of ease to you that I too look for when I have to leave my dog behind. My schedule is fairly flexible, so just let me know what your pup needs, and we can figure out if we are a good match! I will make sure your dog is as comfortable as if they were in their own home. I can give your dog his/her own bedroom, or they can snuggle with me and my pup.

About: I’ve had a passion for animals my whole life and grew up with a wide variety of pets. I am currently a ski patroller in Lake Tahoe now and I am part of our mountains search and rescue avalanche dog team. I have been a second handler for numerous of our dogs over the years training them in search and rescue and obedience. I also have grown up fostering dogs from older dogs to pregnant mama dogs with puppies. I have done it all and my passion is just being around animals! I work at the mountain as a ski patroller in the winters and in the summer I work as a bartender at a lake front restaurant in Lake Tahoe. I would love to fill that time with a furry friend to go on adventures or be cozy inside with. I have lived in tahoe year round for 5 years now and I would love to share my time here with a companion! I live in Truckee, CA along Donner Lake. My house is right across the street from a fenced in private access to the lake! So if you have a water dog I’m sure they would have a blast running around our fenced in lake access area. I will take care for your pet as if they were my own giving them lots of cuddles and endless belly rubs.

I have trained my family dog with commands such as sit, stay, lay down and heal. I have also taught him fun tricks like shake, roll over, whisper, and give me 10. I am looking for full time dog walking and dog sitting opportunities. I am looking for anything from one walk to long term set schedules, which I am flexible. I am interested in house sitting opportunities and dog walking opportunities since I am currently renting and cannot have dogs or any animals at my house.
