About: Hello! I am a working artist / early childhood specialist, and Zach is an engineer. We are fortunate to have flexibility in our work schedules and would love to help out with your pet care needs. This includes neighborhood walks, dog park outings, in-home pet sitting at your place or ours! We have a 4 year old female Bernedoodle named Juniper. She is very sweet, goofy and affectionate. We take her to dog parks and hike with her often which has been great for socialization. Zach and I are happy to bring your pups along with us on these outings. If they aren’t into group activities with other dogs, we completely understand and will respect that boundary, of course. We will schedule a meet and greet prior to any bookings to make sure everyone gets along- I’m sure they will! We strive to keep bookings manageable and only allow 2-3 dogs at our place at a time. Safety and quality care is our number one goal. We both had numerous pets while growing up (dogs, bunnies, cats, reptiles, birds, etc.) and have house-sat, pet-sat, as well as walked dogs for family friends all through our young adult years. We are flexible and willing to work with your schedule / individual preferences. Lifestyle: Our work schedules are flexible, making it possible to accommodate your specific pets' needs, and ensuring they aren't left alone while we are caring for them. Our goal is to make them feel right at home, comfortable and loved. During the week, Zach works from home, so he will be able to give lot's of attention to the animals that stay with us. I paint from my home studio, teach art lessons and make my own schedule which is ideal for Rover. Together we can tag team and make it happen! On weekends, we would love to house-sit / pet-sit while you’re out of town. We will check with you first to make sure your dog is up for any adventures out of the home with Juniper. We will be sure to wipe paws and rinse off after any messy outings. We will respect and adhere to any specific directions from our clients. Whatever you prefer, we will tailor our care to fit each experience for your individual pet’s needs. We have a sweet little kitty cat that stays upstairs and sits out in our upstairs balcony. However, our boarding pups don’t even know she exists as they spend their time on the main floor and basement with us all day. We also have large mesh gates separating each level to keep any chemicals or risky objects out of reach! We like to keep a close eye on our boarders and day care pups to ensure they are safe at all times. Additionally, we have made a rule to only accept 2-3 overlapping bookings max to ensure quality care.

About: I can't imagine a life without an animal to share it with. As a retired Chiropractor, when considering options for my new profession, I realized the perfect fit for me would be working with animals. I have always had a pet of some kind throughout my life. I've had a lifetime of experience caring for them. I have had the good fortune to share my life with dogs and cats of all ages. I believe all pets deserve love and excellent care and I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet or animal family soon! I am currently available 5 days per week. For extended stays and vacations, up to 10 days. Overnight stays are welcome as well as specific days of the week. Weekends and most holidays are OK. I will sit with your pets in your home as a drop in visit or overnight within a 38 mile radius. I will travel as far north as Colorado Springs with an additional mileage fee. I will feed, water, give treats, between meal snacks, let out or walk well behaved dogs up to 50lbs and play with your fur babies as per your instructions. If you have house plant pets, I will happily water them too.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
