About: Hey! I’m Kaitlynn, I have 7 years of experience with animals. I was on rover a few years ago for 5-6 years and took a break after I had kids. I have worked with a travel vet for 2 years (before kids) and dog grooming! My love for animals hasn’t changed, I’m recently new to Rover again because I love working with animals and would love to start to get out there again. I give updates often and will have plenty of photos to share with you! My dogs are super friendly to all animals as they lived on a farm before. I’m hoping to help families while providing for mine:) Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I own my own business and work for myself, which gives me the flexibility to prioritize animals throughout the day. I can easily build my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins without rushing or being tied to a strict 9–5 job. Caring for pets blends perfectly with my active, hands-on lifestyle, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my routine while I manage my business responsibilities. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where they can relax and feel comfortable. I make sure they get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and any feeding or medication schedules are followed closely. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who are very social and do well with other animals, which can be great for pets that enjoy companionship. In a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly to help pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I respect their space, keep everything clean and consistent, and make sure pets receive the same level of care, love, and attention they would get from their owner.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. I work full time at a grooming salon as a pet bather. And I have experience working at an animal hospital and a pet sitting company. I’m able to watch any sized dog and any age from puppies to seniors. I also offer simple grooming services! I regularly take multiple dogs on hikes for at least 1 hour and am used to watching large groups of dogs at a time I’m currently working full time, 5 days a week. I am free all day Tuesday, and Sunday. But I’m also free after 4pm any other day . I can pet sit overnight any day and do drop in visits in the morning, evening, and at night. I am unable to board dogs at my own home but at a clients home I can take your dogs for both short and long walks. I can even take them to a park for a nature hike. I will feed them at their scheduled times and if wanted by owners I can crate them. If medication is needed I am comfortable with giving it to them. I will give them plenty of love and lots of playtime. If wanted I can also give nail trims, brushing, ear cleaning and baths as I work full time as a pet bather.

About: Hi! I’m home for the summer and excited to spend time doing something I love, caring for animals. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. While I don’t have time for a full-time pet right now, I still stay involved by volunteering every week at a local animal shelter and helping care for the cat I live with at school. I also worked as a vet assistant for a year, so I’m experienced with pets of all ages and temperaments. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or anything in between, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I gave my own. I’m currently taking an online summer course with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the summer for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Since I’m not working right now, I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m happy to help however I can! In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, so they stay comfortable and happy while you’re away. I make sure they get plenty of attention and care!

About: Hi! My name is Lessette. My fiancée and I Dustin have been caring for dogs for as long as we can remember, we truly adore all animals. While I’m new to the Rover app, I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and treat every pup as if they were my own. We are open to onboarding dogs and currently have two of our own: Tank, a 3-year-old French Bulldog, and Beau, a 1-year-old Bernedoodle. We’ve had our dogs since they were puppies and have trained them to be well-mannered, social, and comfortable around other dogs in a variety of settings. Please make sure your pup is fully vaccinated, potty trained (for the most part, we understand accidents may happen: especially in a new environment), non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs! We provide a loving, structured, and fun environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. I’m more than happy to take your pup to the dog park (with approval) and can also help with transportation to and from vet visits or appointments as needed. Your dog will be treated like family while in our care! Our large, fully fenced backyard is regularly trimmed and well maintained to support a clean, pest-conscious outdoor environment. We are located close to Downtown Fredericksburg!

About: Growing up, I've become no stranger to a house full of pets. In the past 15 years as a pet owner, I’ve dealt with it all from those early puppy crazy days to gentle senior care. You can rely on me to feed, walk, and play with your pets. My job is to see to your pet’s needs and make their time spent away from you a little more bearable and filled with lots of love 💕 I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of flexible time on my calendar to check in on your pets: morning, afternoon, and night, Being away from your pets for any period of time can be stressful for pet and owner alike. Therefore, it is my top priority to mitigate that as much as possible by sticking to the routines your pet is used to while keeping them safe and happy.

About: I have actually grown up my entire life with dogs and cats and currently own a cat of my own. He is the light of life and I don't know what I would do without him. I know it can be stressful for you to leave their side for any amount of time but I promise they are in good hands. Of course pets also get stressed out as well and I want to help diminish those factors for both the pet and the owner. I have also taken care of a guinea pig in the past and have a pretty good knowledge of reptiles. Of course I will not assume anything about a pet without receiving proper care instructions from the owner. I work mostly evenings at our local live performance theater. So I am available most days of the week for normal 9-5 hours except for Wednesday and Sunday. My shifts are about 3-4 hours long so I will be able to take care of a pet at night as well. I would listen to the owner about what their normal routine would be and make sure if the pet needs play time or walks that they are well taken care of in those regards.

About: Growing up surrounded by the wagging tails of dogs and the gentle purrs of cats, my love for animals has been a lifelong passion. With over six years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, I bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to the care of your beloved pets. My background ensures that I am well-equipped to handle any situation with calm and confidence. In addition to my professional experience, I have been an active volunteer and foster for a local dog rescue organization for the past five years. During this time, I have fostered over 70 rescue dogs, providing them with the love, care, and stability they need to thrive and find their forever homes. My extensive experience with both dogs and cats, combined with my veterinary skills and dedication to rescue work, ensures that your pets will receive the highest level of care and attention. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or medical needs, I am committed to making your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you are away. As someone who works from home, pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent and attentive care to each pet throughout the day. Here’s a glimpse of how pet care fits into my daily life: Morning Routine: Early Walks: I start the day with early morning walks or playtime in the yard, ensuring that pets get their first burst of energy out and start their day on a positive note. Feeding Time: After exercise, it’s breakfast time. I follow each pet’s specific dietary needs and ensure they have fresh water. Midday Routine: Interactive Play: Mid-morning, I take breaks from work to engage in interactive play sessions or training exercises, stimulating both their minds and bodies. Potty Breaks: Regular potty breaks are scheduled to keep pets comfortable and maintain a routine. Afternoon Routine: Exercise & Walks: Another round of exercise or a walk in the afternoon keeps pets active and happy. For those staying at my home, this might include a visit to a local park or a playdate with other friendly pets. Quiet Time: Pets also enjoy some quiet time while I focus on work, with cozy spaces available for napping and relaxation. Evening Routine: Dinner Time: As the workday winds down, it’s time for their evening meal. I maintain their feeding schedules and monitor their intake. Evening Walks & Play: We finish the day with another walk or play session, ensuring they are tired and content for the night. Nightly Routine: Before bed, I provide another potty break and some final cuddles or quiet time to help them settle in for a restful night. Weekend Routine: Extra Attention: Weekends often include extra activities like longer walks, visits to pet-friendly places, or more extended play sessions to make the most of the extra time. Working from home allows me to be present and responsive to the needs of each pet, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve throughout the day. This routine provides a balanced blend of work and pet care, creating a harmonious and happy environment for everyone. Caring for Pets in My Home: I live in a Townhouse with a fully fenced in backyard. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of space for them to explore and play. Each pet gets individual attention tailored to their needs, including regular exercise, feeding schedules, and plenty of affection. I have designated areas for sleeping, eating, and playing to ensure their comfort and happiness. Additionally, I maintain a pet-friendly home with secure fencing and pet-proofing measures to ensure their safety.Caring for Pets in Your Home:When I care for pets in their own home, I strive to maintain their usual routines and provide a familiar environment to minimize stress. I follow the specific instructions provided by the pet owners regarding feeding, exercise, and any special care needs. Daily visits include playtime, walks, and social interaction to keep your pets happy and engaged. I ensure that your home remains clean and secure, and I am diligent about updating you on your pet's well-being. My goal is to provide consistent, reliable, and loving care to make your pets feel comfortable and content in their own space.

About: Hello, My name is Stephanie. Ever since I can remember I have been surrounded by animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, ferrets, horse, etc. When I turned 21, my sister and I bought a 67 acre farm in PA which we still own. I have since moved to VA with my husband and 3 kids along with our Furbabies. Yes, I had to upgrade to a mini van just to fit everyone but I wouldn't want it any other way. I would treat your babies as if they were my own. I would make sure they recieve tons of love while you are gone with updated pictures if requested. Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you! Pet care isn’t something I squeeze into my day it is my day. 🐾 Pet sitting is my full-time job, so my daily and weekly routine revolves around making sure every animal in my care feels safe, loved, and well exercised. I provide care in both my home and my clients’ homes, depending on the service selected and what keeps each pet most comfortable. Every pet is different, so I tailor care to their energy level, personality, and any special instructions. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Travis Mill. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Travis Mill.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
