Ernesto and his family were great with our pup. He came home so tired and it was most certainly because he had a great day of playing during his stay . I appreciate the communication and pictures as well. Drop off and pick up was smooth and easy. We will definitely be bringing Waylon back to visit Ernesto !!

About: I have always been around dogs, whether I personally owned them or they were pets of family and friends. I treat every animal as if they were my own! I do not currently have any pets, so I am able to accommodate animals who may have anxiety or prefer to be the only animal in the house. I am a work from home dad and my wife homeschools our 2 children. There will always be someone here to take care of and show your fur baby lots of love! With a large fenced in yard to roam in, even the most active dog will have space to play. I am very flexible when it comes to watching any animal. I have plenty of space to crate an animal, or they may roam free in the house. I am open to walking them around our neighborhood. I do live on a quiet, dead-end road. Any animals that may need special care are always welcome! I will provide as much communication as you would like, including pictures of your pet while they stay with my family.

We are so grateful to Evelin for taking care of our sweet Bichon, Lily, while we attended a family funeral. It was such a comfort to know that Lily was in loving, capable hands during such a difficult time. Evelin went above and beyond to make sure Lily was happy and comfortable, sending us updates that gave us peace of mind. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. Thank you, Evelin, for being there for us and for treating Lily like one of your own. We couldn’t have asked for better care.

Susan was awesome! Great communicator and very knowledgeable about dogs. She sent pic updates-which I loved. She was so sweet with both of my pups, one who is teeny tiny and one who is large. Her pup was a great playmate for both too. I will definitely be using her again and would highly recommend her to others!

Jasper was suffering from anxiety after using a dog walker and I decided Doggy daycare would be a better choice. He needed daily activity while I was at work and Katie has given that. Her children love being around dogs and play with Jasper all day. He is tired out by the time I pick him up, perfect because I am too after a long day. I rebound with him over the weekend and all is well. Now when I pickup my car keys he is at the door thinking we are going to Katies every time, hilarious. Katie is great and I will continue using her home to keep my dog safe and stimulated all day. Thanks Katie

About: I’ve grown up around animals and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I currently have two friendly dogs who are shy at first to new friends, but do well once they warm up. Over the years, I’ve also fostered animals when my schedule allows, which has given me experience with pets of different temperaments and needs. I’m comfortable administering medications when required and have plenty of hands on experience through regularly pet sitting for neighbors. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and routine, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m more than happy to accommodate your pet’s specific needs and treat them like part of the family while they’re with me! I work full time from home with a very flexible schedule! I usually work only half a day and spend the rest of my day hanging out with my fur babies until my husband gets home! I have a basket full of toys, my pups get fed twice a day, they always have water available throughout the day. Usually a walk or playtime outside daily. Of course some snuggles all day! My pets are allowed on the furniture and to sleep in my bed if wanted! My pets are my children (in my eyes)!

About: My family always had dogs growing up, including heelers, chihuahuas and Shi tzu’s! I now have 2 of my own, a 1 year old pitty mix named Charlie and a 5 month old golden named Marley. I make my own schedule so I have plenty of time for all pet related task! I often dog sit and do drop in visits for family and friends. I’m currently working part time, making my own schedule so I have lots of free time. Most of my day revolves around caring for my own dogs. They’re up early for breakfast, from there they enjoy walks and playing in the dog park. My 1 year old pitty mix Charlie LOVES naps after playing, so we do have a good bit of down time throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced in yard, my apartment complex offers a 24/7 dog park that my dogs enjoy. I also have a large crate if that’s something that you would like for your pet. My girls enjoy a day filled with treats, walks, toys and play time.

About: I helped my cousin care for her senior dog and she relied on me to walk and brush him, and clean him up when he had an incident with seizures I am working full time either from 1:45pm - 9:45pm or 9:45pm - 5:45am, and sometimes 5:45am - 1:45pm. I am available early mornings and evenings during my third shift schedule to care for your pets, am available early mornings and at night when I work second shift, and available afternoons and evenings when I work first shift! If I see a cat eaging something considered dangerous I will try to distract and/or remove the item. I try to keep all choking hazards off the floor and keep strings and other foreign bodies off the floor so that the animal couldn't form an impaction

Elise was the perfect sitter for my high energy Malinois! Her dog and mine got along great and even got to go to the dog park together. She was very accommodating to my last minute request and early drop off/late pickup (0600-1700). Even after my dog had an accident due to starting her heat cycle (which Elise notified me of) she was still very friendly and helpful with updates and Barleys well being. At the end of the day my dog was exhausted by the time I picked her up and ready to sleep! I highly recommend Elise and would definitely trust her again!

Lucia is fantastic. She kept my young energetic dog and my old sensitive nervous couch potato! When I picked them up they were both happy and content. I received frequent photos and texts throughout the day along with an end of day report. Will definitely return and also use for overnight boarding.

I would absolutely use Jeanette again for doggy daycare and boarding! My dog, Lacey, had back surgery and had to relearn how to walk. She still has some special needs, and Jeanette provided outstanding care throughout. She and her own dog welcomed Lacey, and the two became great buddies. Lacey loved spending time in the large, fenced-in yard, which gave her plenty of space to explore and enjoy. She also made herself comfy on the couch for her afternoon naps, clearly feeling safe and at home. I appreciated the frequent updates and the many adorable pictures that reassured me she was in loving hands. Jeanette is a true professional who takes her role seriously, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for dedicated, compassionate care for their pup.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Trails End

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Trails End on Rover is $19.26 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 531 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Trails End. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Trails End commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 531 sitters in Trails End, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
