When I’m taking care of your pets, my priority is making sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Whether that means going on a walk, playing outside, getting some extra cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure they get the attention they deserve! I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different energy levels and personalities, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. I also understand how important it is to feel comfortable with the person taking care of your fur babies, so I’ll keep you updated and make sure you know how they’re doing. I’m currently a student and would love to spend some of my free time caring for animals! I have classes Monday–Friday, but my schedule varies throughout the week. Mondays I’m in class from 9 AM–5 PM, Tuesdays from 11 AM–12:30 PM, Wednesdays until 8 PM, Thursdays until 5 PM, and Fridays until 3 PM. I’m completely free on weekends and am also happy to work with the gaps between my classes during the week. I’m flexible and would love to find a schedule that works best for you and your pets! Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I will make sure they are supervised, secure, and comfortable at all times. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including their walking routes, feeding schedule, medications, and any specific rules you have for your home or pets. I’m also very mindful of their environment and will keep doors and gates securely closed, watch for anything that could be unsafe, and never leave your pet unattended in an unfamiliar or risky situation. I’ll treat your home and belongings with the same care and respect that I would want someone to show my own home. Most importantly, I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and being well cared for while you’re away!

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet sitter who is new to Rover but not new to caring for dogs. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I also have experience administering medications and am comfortable following detailed feeding, medication, and care routines. My husband and I live on a farm with our 4-year-old female Standard Poodle, Maggie. She is friendly, well trained, and enjoys having other dogs around. Although our yard is not fenced, all dogs are closely supervised outdoors and taken on multiple leashed walks each day. Our property offers plenty of space for safe walks, exploring, and sniffing. I recently completed my PhD at Baylor University and bring responsibility, attention to detail, and reliability to everything I do. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I will treat your dog like part of our family while keeping you updated throughout their stay. I have cared for pets for friends, family, and others since high school, with more regular pet-sitting experience in recent years. Please note that dogs staying in our home must be comfortable using stairs. I work from home most days, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am available throughout the day for regular potty breaks, companionship, feeding, medication, and plenty of attention. I already follow a consistent routine with my Standard Poodle, Maggie, including multiple leashed walks each day. Because we live on a farm, visiting dogs also have plenty of opportunities to walk, explore, and sniff while remaining safely supervised. I live in a cozy studio apartment above the garage on our farm, so the indoor space is modest, but dogs have plenty of opportunities for supervised outdoor time, walks, and exploring around the property. I follow each pet’s usual feeding, walking, medication, and sleep routine as closely as possible. I also provide regular photos and updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

I always take special care to leave it cleaner than I found it and tidy up any messes as needed. A clean home is a happy home! Bedding in the crate needs to be laundered or litter box needs to be cleaned out? No problem! I can also water plants, take in the mail, put trash cans out, pickup packages from the porch, load the dishwasher or whatever may be needed!
