About: I truly enjoy getting to know each individual dog's personality and tailoring my response to match. My family always had a dog growing up. Though I am not a "dog trainer" my dogs have always been taught basic commands and learned to reliably respond, for their safety. Lots of treats. I am retired, so I (and my husband) are normally home except for brief errands. My dog and I take about a mile walk twice a day through the woods. Your dog would get frequent leash walks, and whatever playtime they wanted. And of course lots of hugs. :) We have a large back yard bordering on a wooded area for frequently leash walking your dog. Additionally we have a small (20' x 14') fenced area for some off leash play time. Our dog enjoys other dogs and our cat thinks he is a dog. Our pets are allowed on furniture, but of course we would reinforce your rules if they differ. We will play games in the house and lots of attention will be given.

“Wow, such a wonderful sitter! Beatriz took care of my Chihuahua-mix and 3-month-old kitten for a few days. My babes are playful and clingy, and I was worried about being away from a basically newborn and her rambunctious big sister -- they're a handful! But according to all of the (amazing!!!) photos and videos, it seems they were quickly right at home, with their own spots on the couch and newfound toys. Loved all of the updates and overall appreciate Beatriz's care for my pets :). Will definitely book her again if she'll have them!!”

I have two children (ages 7 and 1½) who are gentle, curious, and adore spending time with pets. Alongside them is our friendly 4-year-old Dalmatian, who is crate-trained and well-socialized. We live on a spacious property with an invisible fence, but I understand not all pets are familiar with that setup—so your dog will always be walked on a leash for safety and comfort. I also have room for an additional crate to provide a secure space for your pet if I need to step out, ensuring their well-being at all times. Your furry family member will be treated with the same care and attentiveness I give my own.
