About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. About: Who can love your little ones as you do? I was licensed for child daycare in Colorado for over 10 years. We are animal lovers and guardians of two little dogs. Adults who love and understand the needs of little fur babies. We would love to get to know your special one too. Please make sure you add all of the info for the vet you use. All dogs will need to be current on vaccines and flea and tick care. Please keep in mind when you pay for one day it covers you for 24 hrs. So if you bring your baby at 6 a.m. you will be covered till 6 a.m. the following day. Any hours after that is $6.00 an hour. If you book for more than a weekend, I can be flexible (1 to 2 hrs) due to flight delays, etc. Thank you! I'm currently not working outside home so no matter what your little ones will have someone here at all times. I feed everyone seperately and we walk when weather permits. My father was a dog breeder (pitbulls <3), so being surrounded by puppies and dogs is something I've become accustomed to! I have experience with dog walking and sitting multiple breeds at once and administering medication as instructed. While dog sitting at your home, I'll also tend to any messes that are made, bring your newspapers/packages/mail, and give you thorough daily updates of what's going on around the home. Upon request I'm able to provide proof of having 5 star ratings for 150+ services I've already completed for other pet parents. For dog walks, I'm capable of handling small to gigantic dogs. I can work with dogs that pull. I prefer to use a waist leash (I have my own) while walking dogs since it allows me to be hands free and have more control with your pet. Of course, if you prefer your pet's own leash, that's fine too. :) I am self-employed so I am able to make my own schedule for work days and hours. If extended stays or additional pets need longer periods of care, I can adjust to these changes. About: I would like to own my own pup, but my lifestyle doesn't allow me to give it the attention it needs. Dog sitting is the perfect balance between allowing me to care for a pup when I'm available and not having to worry about the responsibility when I'm traveling. My family owns 4 cats - Peaches, Pepper, McCoy and Wonks. They are cool cats, and are mostly unbothered by other pups being around, as they grew up with my father's dog - Jake Dog. Jake Dog is a very intelligent GSP whom I had a hand in training and learning training techniques in both public puppy school and in home private lessons. Not that I want to train your dog, I just want to walk it and play fetch with it. I will only take in a dog that I am able to commit to full time for the duration of their stay.
