“Amanda did a great job with our two cats, Angel and Pumpkin. She sent us pictures every day of her interacting with them. I highly recommend Amanda if you need drop in visits for your fur babies.”

About: I have experience with various breeds of dogs, especially larger breeds (50+ lbs). I grew up with multiple pit bulls in my home, which I had the responsibility of caring for. I adapt easily to any environment; maintaining a fur-baby's daily routine is no issue for me. When working with senior dogs I accommodate for any and all needs of the fur-baby at hand. I'm currently an online college student, so my schedule is very flexible with plenty of time to spend with fur-babies. Although I am capable of handling gentle giants, I was injured recently so my partner works with me for larger dog breeds (75+lbs.). I ensure the care and safety of every animal in my care at all times. Adapting to new routines is no issue for me. I have helped with puppies that are still being potty trained as well as kittens that need help feeding. I have handled elderly dogs as well, providing them with the utmost respect and care. I'm well informed on how to handle pets as well as houses. I'm here to help ease your life; providing enrichment to your fur-babies and ensuring their routine is uninterrupted.
About: I've been surrounded by animals, in particular cats, my entire life. At one point, we had a household full of animals ranging from a rambuctious German Shepherd to a teeny tiny Leopard Gecko and Corn Snake. We've had pets for a long time, and they always gave us structure. They are and have always been a part of our family, and we tend to take care more of them than ourselves. I live in an apartment now, but I am willing to come to the owner's home for daily walks, pet/house sitting if they're at work or on vacation, play with the animals and give them exercise, and also available to stay overnight if needed.
“Isabel did an excellent job with my German shepherds. My dogs felt comfortable around her, she was very attentive and communicative throughout each drop in visit. Would highly recommend her!”

“Jasmine has been wonderful. She does all the things that a Rover sitter is supposed to do. She loves my dog and two cats. She takes cute pics of them. She's on time. She's reliable. She's trustworthy.”

“Linda did a wonderful job caring for my Buzzy and Kitty. The daily communications were so helpful. I knew they were in good hands. I would recommend Linda to everyone. Thank you!”

“Susan was fantastic! All of her updates for Charolette were thorough and made me feel at ease that my pup was doing good while I was gone. Would highly recommend Susan as a sitter for anyone’s dogs!”

About: I have taken care of our dogs since we got them. I love them so much and I love to see more happy pups in the world! I am currently a full-time college student, so my availability varies, but I generally have late morning to mid-day and evening availability. I'm very flexible! I love to give lots of pets to my dogs and cats. I will do whatever you need me to, I will feed your pets, play with them, walk with them and make sure they are happy and healthy when you get home! If your animal has any special needs I'm more than happy to accommodate!
“Ally did such a great job taking care of our cat. She shared so many pics and videos of Kismet, so we knew she was always in great hands. We will definitely book her again in the future!”

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats, puppies and kittens for many years. I have raised my own dog from early puppyhood to mature adulthood and her social but controlled behavior and level of training quickly caught the eye of other dog owners with young dogs. I had spent years researching dog and cat behavior, dog training, and everything related to dog breed history and care. This knowledge, along with my passion for animals, allowed me to offer services like dog training, walking, sitting, and drop-in visits with confidence and excitement even as a young teenager. This confidence and excitement along with my knowledge has only grown since then. I have experience with large breeds like Dobermans and Great Danes as well as smaller breeds like Cavaliers. Energetic breeds like Labradors and high-drive breeds like Coonhounds. When I provide you my services, its not just taking care of you and your pet(s) needs, its a reassuring peace of mind. It's a genuine relationship built on trust. Its a pleasant interaction between you and I and a lavish experience for your pet. It's knowing that I am not only making your pet's day but he/she is making mine as well. That's the difference between simply getting a job done and ensuring the care that's provided is at the next level. The level I'd want for my own sweet pets. I am currently in a season of life that allows me to be flexible and able to go the extra mile in providing the best service around! I just graduated high school and am taking a gap year. Even though I am working another job as well, now is a good opportunity to get involved in caring for your pet's various needs. I am a quick learner and am able to follow your instructions for how you prefer your pet to be cared for in your home. I can crate a dog if needed. I am able to fill your 30 minute time slot for drop-in visits with cuddles, playtime indoor and outdoor (whichever is preferred) and I understand that exercising your dog mentally is just as important as physically so I enjoy incorporating mentally stimulating factors into my visits. Training, finding treats, playing games etc.
“Catie was phenomenal with my two pups who absolutely adore her! She came twice a day to check on them while I was on vacation and spoiled them while I was away. I highly recommend her as a sitter if you want and need someone to care for your fur babies. She is the BEST!”

About: I grew up always having a pet in my childhood home, cats and dogs, and have much experience taking care of my own and others pets. In high school my main way of earning money was taking care of my aunts 2 German shepherds on a daily basis after school. Since then I have pet sat countless friends and families fur babies. I have been a pet mom since I was 18 (12 years) and now have 4 of my own, 2 dogs and 2 cats. I am also a (human) mom of a 1 year old girl. I have cared for 160 lb Rottweilers to 2 week old kittens to horses, chickens and goats. I have been told I am naturally nurturing and I have always found caring for animals to come easily and to be extremely enjoyable. I consider myself very experienced with all sorts of animal needs. I am strong advocate of animal rights and treat animals with the same respect I would a person. Outside of Rover I have been a self employed small business owner in the service industry since 2019. I pride myself in my customer service and communication skills. I am always very responsible and reliable because my livelihood depends on it. If you book with me you will be very pleased with my laid back yet capable attitude. I fully believe in my ability to give you and your furbabies excellent service :) I work part time an I am available for dog/cat sitting on Monday’s and Tuesdays during the day. During the week I am the sole caregiver of my 1 year old daughter and she will be with me while taking care of your pets. She has been exposed to our animals since birth and has learned how to interact with our dogs and cats. She is gentle and kind to animals. Child friendly dogs and cats are a must. My home sits on a 1/2 acre and I have a fenced in yard. My pets have free range of my home apart from our bedrooms which stay closed while we are not in them. I do have the option to keep my pets separated from yours if that’s preferred or needed.
About: Hello, My name is Cristian! I love working with and providing care for animals. 🐕🐈🐒🐐🐖🐹🦜🐢🐍🐟 I am learning to house train unfocused puppies, using positive reinforcement and kennel training. To teach commands to an overly energetic and reluctant learner can be an ongoing process though.🐶🐶 I'm able to send picture updates of your pets if you'd like. 🤳 I am hoping to train my own dog to become a guide dog and socialization with other dogs/animals is important for this training. I'm willing to run or jog with them, to help rid pets of excess energy and keep them docile while inside.🏃♂️ I can bring my dog along for play dates and socialization training if allowed, or even just take them for leisurely walks around the neighborhood every couple hours.🏘 I can do drop by visits, pick them up to take them to the park if your animal is okay with car rides, or just stay at the house. 🏍 I prefer to minimize kennel time as much as possible. Animals shouldn't be caged. 😺 A kennel/crate should only be safe retreat for your pet to relax and feel comfortable in their own space. If you are interested in any of these services feel free to contact me via text or email.😁 Open availability currently, doing this full-time and enjoying it. Would have plenty of time, patience, and energy for energetic, timid, injured, or special need animals. I've a backyard, a quiet neighborhood, large dog park behind the neighborhood, and plenty of walking trails nearby. Including most locals are very friendly towards people and animals.

As of August 2026, there are 534 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Tomstown. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Tomstown. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 92% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
