Ana was awesome! Perfect for any anxious dog that you don't want to board at a facility! Pictures during every drop in and good communication the whole time we were out of town. Would definitely recommend!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and love making new furry friends! I tend to frequent local dog parks to study so I’m surrounded by bundles of joy (10/10 would recommend) Growing up, I was the “pet sitter” friend, who would be in charge of handling the mischievous big dogs that wanted to pull. I would also be the friend that got called if someone was going on a vacation and needed somebody to watch the dogs! I’m used to all sizes of dogs, and can handle larger breeds (even if not leash trained) I was recently hired as a dog bather at PetSmart and may have to drive to work and back depending on if I work or not I’m a part time university student, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your animals, especially in the afternoons and overnight! Understanding a dog’s boundaries comes easy for me. While under my care, your animal will feel as safe as can be. I make wellbeing a priority when it comes to your animal.

Fantastic cat sitter! Our 2 were well taken care of by Emily while we were on vacation. She sent lots of photos from her drop ins and gave them plenty of attention during her visits. Would definitely book with her again in the future!

About: Every since I was young I would walk dogs for friends and family. Once I finally turned 18 I was able to work for a doggie daycare! Talk about dream come true! Hey pet parents, I promise to always do my best when having your fur child/children under my care ❤️ (I also would like to mention that the rates are high because this app only gives a very small percent of what you pay) I don’t mind long walks, and trips to the park! Snuggles and movies work too 🩵 I can provide any needed service for your fur baby/ babies! About: I have taken care of my own dog as well as taken family friends dogs on walks and runs. I am currently training for a half marathon, so if your dogs loves long runs or long walks I would love to help them get outside and exercise. I currently am working part time on top of school. Most days I can take dogs on a walk or run in the morning to later afternoon! I currently live in an apartment where pets are not allowed, so for now I will stick to taking dogs on walks and runs whether that’s around a safe neighborhood or at a park.

Was very lucky to have picked him easy to work with and accommodate with requests. Works well with the pets going at their pace and giving them space if needed. I was suggested him as a good person to watch the fur babies did everything I needed putting my mind at ease while I was away.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
