“Julie did an amazing job connecting with my cat. Usually when I return my cat is not very happy. The cat was very peaceful which matters since she’s elderly and has health issues. I highly recommend Julie. I also felt relaxed while away getting updates on a daily basis.”

About: We lost our last little guy in February 2024. It’s the first time in 35+ years without at least one dog under the same roof, and it’s felt like something essential is missing. I have such a love for dogs, and would love to pass that on to yours while you have to be away from them. That’s my main reason for being a Rover Sitter. I’m semi-retired and work from home, so your dog(s) will get my full attention. Your dog(s) will get care, love, playtime and exercise. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. If you've got a senior, I am very experienced in that care, whether simple TLC, boosts when standing, meds, multiple bathroom breaks, etc. Our dogs were allowed on the furniture, and slept on the bed with us; I respect and will follow your rules for that, though. For those who like to sleep in their own "den," I have a lot of experience with crate training also. I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first visit to make sure everybody's comfortable -- both canine and human. Photos and updates are happily available while you're away. I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I can sit with your dog(s) any day of the week and/or weekend. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. About: {Please note I have removed Housesitting from my services through 2025 for a health recovery. Thank you for understanding! ❤️🩹🐶} I have been Petsitting and housesitting for friends and family for more than 25 years, so I figured, why not make new friends and continue the tradition? It’s one of my greatest joys in life, getting to know and play with new puppers and their people!! I’ve cared for many types and breeds of dogs, cats, and exotic animals (snakes, tortoises, lizards, turtles, tarantulas, exotic fish, chickens, etc.) and all types of pet personalities - shy, rambunctious, skittish, lazy, grouchy, energetic, and everything in-between. From trained purebreds to rescues who have been abused or neglected and need special attention, I have worked with and enjoyed them all. I’ve administered meds, cared for sick pups and kitties, and taken my charges to the vet when needed. I could be trained to care for your pigs, goats, sheep, horses, etc. I travel a good deal and understand the importance of being able to have your non-human child well looked after and not have to worry about them while you’re out of town, or even if you’re just at work. I work remotely, so your pet gets potty breaks often, and they have a human around almost all the time. We go for small walks around a delightful neighborhood when desired, or longer walks/hikes on nearby trails if the bigger pups are game. There are no off-limits areas in our house- my pug Napoleon slept *under the covers* in the big bed he believed he owned - but if you have different rules, they will be enforced as dictated. Any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I am excited to meet you - and your human friends ;)! Working remotely from my home office provides plenty of opportunity for potty breaks and puppy love in-between client interactions on the phone. It also allows me to stay full-time in your home with your pets if overnight sits are your preference. All that is needed is a strong internet connection and a comfortable, quiet place in your home to work. I have a gated yard in the front but can take little pups on-leash if there’s any concern. There’s also a small potty area in the back yard with a full fence for off-leash outside time. I can accommodate a small crate in my home, if desired. For overnights in your home, an initial meet-n-greet will be required prior to the first engagement to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.

“Karmyn was awesome! I had a very last second change in plans and she came in to save the day. She was quick to respond which was really appreciated and so good with my pup. I’d definitely book with her again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: Animals are my absolute passion! I have been around animals my whole life and will treat any dog like they are part of the family! I currently am a full time stay at home mom to my beautiful daughter. I worked 4 years at Junaluska Animal Hospital and have tons of experience worth fur babies. I am free any day or time to come to your house for let outs or walks! I am a stay at home mom and have plenty of free time to care for pets! I am very flexible so can work around your schedule! I live on a quiet street in the country, with a big open yard. It is not fenced in but we do have an underground electric fence if need be! I have 2 fur babies to keep yours company, and am home all day!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 15. I’ve had experience with a wide range of pets, including many ages and fun personalities. I currently work part time so I’m available to give your pet the time they need. I live in Leicester which gives me the opportunity to help out in any surrounding area. I live in a studio apartment but have a large yard that can be used for dogs enrichment. I am also very active and love hiking which makes a fun adventure for animals looking for exercise.

About: We have had horses, cows, chickens, goats, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, you name it. I am very good at communicating with them and making them feel at home. I am a nursing student in need of a good paying job with a flexible schedule. This opportunity seemed perfect to me especially since outside of class I don’t get to interact with animals a lot! My home is very safe. Our fields have fences around them and I would keep your fur babies on leashes if they need to be!

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was 3 years old and have always had a passion and love for them. I currently have 15 dogs myself (5 are rescue/fosters). I previously worked for an animal rescue that has had all types of dogs (and other animals) including small & large breed dogs, special needs (seizures, diabetes, amputees), escape artists, etc. I'm also a certified Positive-Reinforcement Dog Trainer through Catch! Dog Training Academy. I would love to meet you and your dog and help with any of your needs! Walks, Drop in Visits, Watching them while you're away on vacation. I know how wonderful it is to have peace of mind while you're away from your babies and they will always be safe with me! :) I'm a small business owner (Dog Collars, Leashes, Etc.) with a very flexible schedule to easily fit you and your pet's needs. I can be available on most days or times as needed. I want to provide all pets with the love & care that they require. It is so important to me to provide a safe, calm, and enriching environment where your dog can be their best self.

About: I've been taking care of animals from fish to Llamas since I was a young child. Nothing makes me happier than being with animals. I've been taking care of my friends' pets for so long, I figured I'd make help other folks too. I make my own schedule currently, so if we are a good fit, it's no problem to make my schedule work around what you need. I am more than happy to accommodate any specific requests and or needs that you may have. I trust your judgment and know how important it is to respect the wishes of the pet owner. Just let me know what you need and I'll be happy to do it.

“So happy Rosaria was available for my last minute booking. I will definitely be using her in the future she’s so kind and sweet to my dogs they loved their time with her. She went above and beyond letting them play out all their energy.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 15 while being a full-time babysitter every summer and on weekends (when school was back in). Family friends and family members have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets while being out of town as well. I also have experience with larger animals due to living on farmland (horses, pigs, cows.) I have taken care of multiple german shepherds for the larger breeds as well as chihuahuas on the smaller side. I currently have a full-time job 8-4:30 in an office environment but for the most part, I have open availability after work and on weekends anytime. I have a fenced-in area as well as two very energetic dogs to keep your dog company! I can easily crate your dog if needed. I will send you updates with pictures and videos of course of your fur babies during any visits to ensure you peace and comfort knowing they are well taken care of.

“Our original sitter advised she was not able to sit with our fur babies a week and a half before our trip. We sent several request out on Rover and Deena answered the short notice call. We could not be happier with the care that she provided for our fur babies. She sent us photos of our babies everyday. She played with our youngest as he has extra energy that needed to be burned off daily. She is super polite and a reliable. We will definitely be using Deena again for our fur babies care. If you are looking for someone to care for your babies, consider Deena. We will be back in touch for our next trip. Thank you again Deena.”
